In tonight’s episode of EastEnders Linda Carter struggles to accept her son’s sexuality.
After overhearing Johnny (played by Sam Strike) and Mick’s (by Danny Dyer) emotional conversation where Johnny comes out as gay to his father, Linda (played by Kellie Bright) is struggling to accept what she’s heard.
Shirley quickly gets involved and accuses of being a bad mother – cue a row between the two and Shirley accidentally reveals Johnny’s sexuality to everyone at The Vic.
Danny Dyer wowed fans and the gay community on Saturday after he told Twitter homophobes where to put their opinions, after the airing of Johnny and Mick’s emotional scene.
A tabloid paper had alleged that BBC chiefs reprimanded Dyer over his Tweet, however a spokesperson for EastEnders has denied the report.
