Matt Dallas, star of the cancelled Kyle XY came out in a social media kind of a way in January 2013, when he Tweeted that he was going to marry his long-time lover, musician Bill Hamilton – and posted a photo of his boyfriend for the world to see.
Scott Mills, The Radio 1 DJ still surprises people to this day with the news that he is in fact gay. In 2011 Scott Mills went to Uganda to make a documentary on the country’s terrible reputation on gay rights. In an interview with TheGayUK in 2012 when asked whether he and his boyfriend were considering marriage Mills said: ‘It’s not that I’m against it, I just can’t imagine myself getting married. I don’t know why? It’s not that I would never do it. I actually think that if I saw a couple other [gay weddings] then I would think, okay I get it now. It’s just I can’t visualise it in my head.’
Matt Bomer, star of Magic Mike and the rightful heir to our hearts, has apparently found difficulty finding acting roles since coming out in 2012. American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis blasted the idea that Matt should play Christian Grey in a film adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey saying: ‘Okay I’ll say it. Matt Bomer isn’t right for Christian Grey because he is openly gay. He’s great for other roles but this is too big a game.
‘And I think if Matt Bomer wants the role which I doubt the international press tour will be an embarrassing fiasco. He’s not CG. Never…’

His sexuality was only a secret outside of the industry. He lived with an actor Randolph Scott for 12 years. Duncan James. Ruggedly handsome ex Boybander now Manbander, came out in 2009 in an interview with the News Of The World. In an interview with GT Duncan said: ‘I sill enjoy having sex with girls, I find women attractive. But over the years it’s been less and less relationships with girls. So I understand that saying, ‘Bi now, gay later’. But it’s 2013 and there’s nothing wrong in being open with your sexuality.’
