Two men in their twenties are being sought by police in connection to the sexual assault of four schoolboys.

Detectives from Hackney Borough in London investigating a sexual assault have issued CCTV footage of two men they wish to identify in connection with the incident.

Four schoolboys, all aged 13, were “sexually assaulted” on a footpath on Lower Clapton Road at the junction with Atherden Road, Hackney at 8:00 AM.

According to the police press statement, the two men “approached the boys – who were on their way to school – and sexually assaulted them. All four were able to escape and inform their school of what had happened.

“A witness has provided detectives with information relating to a separate offence whereby the same two men are believed to have sexually assaulted two school girls close to where the first incident took place. Police are appealing for any further victims and witnesses to come forward.”

The suspects are described as:

‘Suspect 1 [image ref 190125] is described as a white man, aged in his 20s, clean shaven and of medium build. He has short light brown hair and was wearing a black hooded jacket, black tracksuit trousers with light blue stripes and dark trainers.


‘Suspect 2 [image ref 190123] is described as a white man, aged in his 20s and of medium build. He has short blond hair and was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the two men or anyone who believes they may have witnessed the incident.
