This year Harrogate Pride, which is called Pride In Diversity, Harrogate will be taking place on the 15th June and here is everything you need to know.

Does Harrogate Pride have a pride parade?

Yes, indeed the Pride does have a parade. The open top bus which will lead (along with the act, Loud Noises) the parade from 12 PM from Montpellier Hill. The Parade will leave the top of Montpellier Hill and proceed down towards the Crown roundabout, following the roundabout to Royal Parade and proceeding to the entrance of the Valley Gardens.

What time does the Harrogate Pride parade start?

Harrogate’s Pride parade begins at 12 noon. It will arrive at the Valley Gardens around 15 minutes later – where a welcome speech will be given at around 12:30 PM.

Who’s performing at Harrogate Pride?


12.40 – 1.10pm ACT Loud Noises – 4-piece Jazz band (also leading Parade)

1.10 -1.20pm DJ Trev fills.

1.20 – 1.50pm ACT Smashby – singer 


1.50 – 2.10pm DJ Trev whilst Rory Hoy sets up

2.10 – 2.35pm DJ Rory Hoy gets it pumping in the park, with a dance tunes mash up.

2.35 – 3.05pm ACT Amy G – singer with small band


3.05 – 3.20pm DJ Trev fills

3.20 – 3.50pm ACT Moon on a Stick – Disney covers

3.50 – 4pm DJ Trev fills


4 – 4.20pm Rufus Beckett


4.20 – 4.30pm DJ Trev fills

4.30 – 5pm ACT Ryley Vyrus – drag artist


5 – 5.15pm DJ Trev fills

5.15 – 5.35pm regular favourite Leon Marshall closes the event


Is there an official afterparty for Harrogate Pride?


Yes, there are two parties. There is a free entry party from 9 PM at The Den, Nidderdale House, Cambridge Road, Harrogate, HG1 1NS. It will go on until 2 AM. There are 2 x £50 bar tabs to be won for the “most extravagantly and outrageously dressed. There will also be party games and special guests.

There is also an open mich night at Stevie’s Bar. There will be drag kings and queens and it takes place from 7 PM.
