Once again Herts Pride will be taking over Gaderidge Park for Hertfordshire’s biggest pride.
Thousands of LGBT+ people and their allies will be turning out for 2017’s Herts Pride taking place this weekend on Saturday 2nd September. The Pride is to take place in Gadebridge Park in Hemel Hampstead from 11 AM to 10 PM. Herts Pride has been going since 2013 and has grown into one of the most successful pride events outside the big six (London, Birmingham, Brighton, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow)
Is there a Parade for Herts Pride
This is no parade for Herts Pride – all the activities take place in Gadebridge Park, with entertainment taking place in the Big Top from 11 AM to 10 PM.
What’s available at Herts Pride
There will be a fun fair, the famous Big Top stage, a health and a well-being marquee and of course a fabulous market. There will, of course, be a licensed bar for those who want to partake in a few drinkies!
Who’s performing at Herts Pride?
This year will feature performances from La Voix (Britain’s Got Talent), Lloyd Daniels (X Factor), Kyle Passmore (Let It Shine), Daz Menzies and Relley C (X Factor). There will be a whole host of tribute acts, such as Kylie On Tour and Dolly Parton and not forgetting some of the amazing drag performances from Sandra London and Vicky Vivacious
Does it cost anything to go to Herts Pride?
You will need a wristband to get into Herts Pride – Adults cost £10.00, Children, £5.00 and Family Wristbands cost £23 (two adults and two children). You can pay in advance or pay on the door.
