The Vivienne, an internationally renowned drag act, is to play a show in York in support of York Pride 2019.
The Vivienne is a drag superstar whose CV includes the title of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK Ambassador and a residency at the world-famous Sparkles Show Bar in Gran Canaria, will play in Kuda Nightclub on 22nd March 2019. In the show, The Vivienne will dazzle audiences with live signing, comedy, and her world famous ‘Cher’ impersonation.
All proceeds from the night will go towards funding York Pride 2019.
On the event, The Vivienne said, “I’m so excited to come to York! Such a historic city! I’ve never been so it’s going to be a first for me and York. We’ll have an amazing night.”
Greg Stephenson, Chair of York Pride, said, “It is so exciting to have The Vivienne come and play a show in York in support of Pride 2019. She is a world famous drag queen and her talent is extraordinary. It’s brilliant to see that York Pride has grown to a level where we can now have such respected talent come and support us.”
Tickets are on sale now on the York Pride website. The first 60 tickets are priced at an early-bird rate of £10, with remaining tickets £14. It is a strictly ticketed event, with paying on the door not an option.
