Bournemouth is to celebrate its 11th year with Broadway as its theme.

This year’s three-day Bourne Free pride event will see thousands of people celebrating LGBT+ diversity in the Bournemouth area.

The Parade will return again for 2015 and will commence at 11 AM and promises to be record breaking with over 43 sections in total. The starting point will be on East Overcliff Drive.

Bourne Free was originally set up in 2004 in opposition to an anti-gay organisation which was due to visit Bournemouth. It was created to “protect the gay community from the bigots and keep them together for a day of celebration, rather than of hostility.”

Free entertainment will take place at the Bandstand in The Lower Gardens, on Saturday 11th. Entertainment will then move to the Triangle from 6PM, wristbands are required and can be bought here. Standard wristbands are priced at £10 whilst VIP bands are priced at £25. No wristband is required for Friday night.

Acts confirmed for BourneFree 2015 are 2Shoes, Dave Lynn, The Brooks, Big Brovaz Vs Booty also with perennial favourites including, Lola Lasagne, Maisey Trollette and Miss Jason.
