Police in London have launched an appeal after a 12-year-old boy was sexually assaulted on a bus in Paddington.
Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for help in identifying a man after a boy was sexually assaulted on a bus in Paddington.
The incident occurred on a Route 16 bus at approximately 07:50hrs on 12 November 2015.
The bus was travelling on Edgware Road, W2 near Paddington Green Police Station.
The victim – a 12-year-old boy – was sitting opposite the suspect. As the bus came to a halt outside the police station, the suspect started to stroke the boy’s leg. He then got off the bus and walked off down Edgware Road.
The man is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged between 25 and 30 years, with black hair.
This is the second appeal made by the Met Police in connection to sexual assaults on boys in London. Last week two men were charged in connection to separate sexual assaults on four 13-year-old school boys.
Officers are releasing a CCTV image of the man taken from the bus and are asking anyone with any information to contact PC Neil Webb on 07787 669 282 or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111, quoting reference 6549571/15.
