Pride In London’s famous pop-up shop is open for business on Old Compton Street.

Old Compton Street just got a little bit gayer with the opening of Pride In London’s pop up shop.

Open for the month of Pride Festival, Pride in London will take over the shop space, donated by sponsor Shaftesbury, at 72 Old Compton Street featuring this year’s theme #PrideMatters.

The Pride in London pop-up shop will sell the official new range of Pride in London merchandise including clothing, mugs, tote bags, alongside festival tickets and Pride Matters wristbands. The shop will also be the collection point for those needing to collect their parade wristbands.

A one-stop shop for all things Pride, 72 Old Compton Street will also act as a community hub and safe space for all those who want to drop in and find out more about Pride. A diverse schedule of talks and workshops will be held in the pop-up shop, further details on these will be announced through the Pride in London social media channels and on the Pride website.

Kieron Yates, Head of Retail and Merchandising for Pride in London said, “We’re really excited to have this fantastic summer space right in the centre of Soho this year so come and buy your official Pride threads. While you’re here chat to the team who will be on hand to help you with all that information about the Pride Festival and the big day. Follow and keep an eye on Pride in London’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for what events are happening in the shop.”

Brian Bickell, Chief Executive of Shaftesbury said, “With this year’s #PrideMatters campaign focused on what Pride means to the community, from celebration to diversity and beyond we are thrilled to welcome back the Pride in London pop-up shop to Soho. A community hub in the heart of Soho on 72 Old Compton Street, the official Pride pop-up will be a welcome addition to London’s most diverse and vibrant district. We are proud to support Pride in London for the fourth year running across our locations in Soho, Carnaby and Seven Dials. It’s also great to see our occupiers actively supporting Pride, with one-off events and offering a range of special deals and products to celebrate the Pride Festival.”

Of course, if you can’t make your way into London to visit the shop you can buy all of Pride In London’s merch at
