Warwickshire Pride have announced that their annual talent contest will return to Leamington Spa next month. Taking place on Friday 30th June at the Episode Hotel, Warwickshire Pride’s Got Talent will once again be searching for a superstar to grace the main stage at this year’s Warwickshire Pride festival.

Judges of this year’s Warwickshire Pride’s Got Talent include legendary drag queen Sassi Afrika and C4Z, frontwoman of crossover band Lost in the Wreckage. Once the judges have provided feedback, it’s the audience who get to vote for the winner.

The champion of this year’s Warwickshire Pride’s Got Talent will receive a headline slot on the main stage at Warwickshire Pride in August, appearing just before 90s pop sensation Kavana. Two runners up will also get to perform at the festival.

Alongside the contestants, several guest performers will also take to the stage. They include the first ever winner of Warwickshire Pride’s Got Talent, Cristian Honeychurch, and an exclusive performance from Sassi Afrika.

Warwickshire Pride’s Chair of Trustees, Daniel Browne, said: “Warwickshire Pride’s Got Talent is back, bigger and better than ever before. Contestant applications are now open and we welcome any type of performer. Whatever your talent, ability or experience, we want to hear from you. Tickets are also now on sale, with proceeds going towards putting on this summer’s Warwickshire Pride festival. We’re grateful to the Episode Hotel for hosting the contest for us and putting on some delicious food for the audience too. This year’s contest promises to be a fantastic night out for all the family, and we’re looking forward to seeing some great talent on stage.”

Warwickshire Pride’s Got Talent takes place on Friday 30th June at Episode, 64 Upper Holly Walk, Leamington Spa, CV32 4JL.
