Get ready to go back to the 90s and noughties

Gareth Gates, of Pop Idol fame and fresh from several successful runs on the West End, will headline York Pride 2019. He will be joined by dance artist Rozalla, who is expected to wow audiences with her iconic hit ‘Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)’.

Also set to take to the stage are Bang Bang Romeo, who will support P!nk in her upcoming stadium shows this summer, Eva Iglesias, and tributes to both Freddie Mercury and ABBA.

The stage will be hosted for the day by BBC Weatherman Owain Wynn Evans, drag queen Mamma Bear, and singer Kira Live.

Greg Stephenson, Chair of York Pride, says on the lineup, “We’re very proud of the impressive and diverse lineup that York Pride has secured for 2019. The calibre of acts is very high, and that reflects the growth that the charity has achieved over the last few years. All of the performers we have on the day are exceptionally talented and entertaining, and I am sure that the audience will go wild for them!”
