Britney Spears ‘Close to Las Vegas Deal’ which could earn her close to $100m.
It’s been a rollercoaster of a week for pop queen Britney Spears – with the announcement that she could achieve her first number 1 in the UK since 2004, her split from her fiance and quitting X Factor US – TMZ.com are now reporting that Ms. Spears could be close to closing a deal that could be worth $100m.
TMZ reports that a source close to the negotiations says, from Brit’s standpoint, “The deal is a go. There are several stipulations that could throw a monkey wrench in the deal, but it’s basically done.”
One of the outstanding issues — exactly what Britney will be doing. There’s back-and-forth over whether she will just perform on stage at a big theater multiple nights a week, or whether she will also make appearances at functions in the hotels, nightclubs and pool day clubs.
Our sources say the money being negotiated is “astronomical” — more than Celine’s $100 mil a year.
