Tom Hooper’s musical movie, Les Misérables, starring Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman earns more than £4m at the box office.
Holding off competition from new releases Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty, Les Miserable retains its number 1 position. The top 5 are: Les Mis (£4m), Django Unchained (£2.6m) , Lincoln (£1.6m), Life Of Pi (£1.19m) and Zero Dark Thirty (£1m), meaning the entire top 5 consists of ‘Best Picture’ Oscar nominees
