    With over 5000 votes cast TheGayUK’s New Years Recognition List has been announced and includes 15 individuals, companies or organisations that actively supported, championed or spoke up for the LGBT community in 2013.

    Readers were asked to vote on 5 categories, which included: Awareness, Activism and Politics, Health, Entertainment, Sports and Health.

  • Gaga makes a surprise appearance at G-A-Y

    Lady Gaga stunned London club-goers at London’s biggest gay club, G-A-Y at Heaven, to sing her forthcoming single.

    The impromptu performance of Venus took many by surprise as she wasn’t on the billing. However, Gaga is the UK to perform on the X Factor this evening.

    Her previous single Applause from the upcoming album Artpop failed to get to number one, being beaten by Ellie Goulding’s Burn. However, we loved the video

    Lady Gaga will be joined by The Wanted on this evening’s broadcast of X Factor, starting at 8.00PM on ITV1.

  • Cheryl To Perform At G-A-Y

    Cheryl is to debut ‘A Million Lights’ at London’s G-A-Y nightclub on the 16th June 2012, just two days ahead of the album’s official release and 10 years after her first appearance at the venue, with her fellow bandmates from Girl Aloud at their first ever gig after winning talent show:Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
