Second Young Gay Porn Star Dies In A Week
A second gay porn star has died this week as reports confirm the death of Dimitri Kane, who has died at the age of 20.
Dimitri Kane, who has starred in films for Men.com and famous for his lipstick kiss tattoo is thought to have accidentally killed himself. According to a source on the Str8UpGayPorn.com website a close friend has suggested it could be related to drugs.
The website reports:“A source close to Dimitri Kane’s family (who were all aware of and supportive of the performer’s adult film career) has now told Str8UpGayPorn that his death was due to an accidental drug overdose, not suicide. An autopsy is still pending, and this post will be updated as details become available.”
Kane is the second gay porn star reported to have died in the past week. Zac Steven died last week at the age of 25.

Gay Porn Star Zac Stevens Dies, 25
Adult star Zac Stevens has died at the age of 25.
Adult star Zac Steven has died in San Diego. According to NewNowNext the star, who has worked for adult studios such as Helix.com and Men.com was just 25. An explanation for his death has not yet been released by the US medical examiners.
Owner of Helix studios Keith Miller led the online tributes to the star saying,
“RIP @zac_stevensxxx Gone far too soon.”Other stars have taken to their Twitter feeds to express their condolences.
In October legendary porn star Blue Blake was found dead in his London home by friends. In 2008 he releeased an autobiography of his life as a porn star.

Legendary Gay Porn Star Blue Blake Found Dead, 52
Blue Blake has been found dead at his London home at the age of 52.
The performer Blue Blake, real name, Glenn Marsh, was found in his London apartment by friends, who became concerned after not hearing from him. Letting themselves into his flat he was found unresponsive in an armchair.
The death is not being treated as suspicious by the Met Police at this time. No details have been released at this time about the actor’s death.
Born in Nottingham, a stream of dedications have been posted on his social media profiles. Blue started his career in the adult industry 20 years ago. He started as a performer but became a writer and director. In 2008 he released an autobiography of his time as a porn star in a book called, Out Of The Blue: Confessions Of An Unlikely Porn Star. -

Jackie Collins lost her battle with stage 4 breast cancer on the 19th September. Her sister Joan Collins is said to be “devastated” by the loss. Jackie Collins had written 32 books in her lifetime and had included a gay character from the very beginning. She lost a very close childhood friend to suicide, Peter, who was gay. His suicide prompted her to say to Out Magazine,
“One day he committed suicide. And that made me think really deeply about the problems that some poor guys go through when they want to come out.
“I’ll never forget Peter,” she says. “He was so good-looking; he had curly hair, and he was tall and lovely. He just couldn’t come out, and then he killed himself. He must have been about 17, maybe.”
Charl van den Berg
Mr Gay World 2010
6th August 2015The 33-year-old South African activist and model died after being diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. He was Mr Gay South Africa in 2009 and became Mr Gay World in 2010. With his win, Mr. Van den Berg said he wanted to,
“break down stereotypes and differing mindsets in the global community and promote oneness and equality for all people by bridging the gap between those mindsets.
“It is my understanding that people are people before we are different.”

1st August 2015Legendary performer and entertainer Cilla Black died after a fall, following a stroke at her Spanish home. Her musical career spawned two number hits, Anyone Who Had A Heart and You’re My World and a slew of top 10s including Aflie.
Beau Biden
Son of Vice President Joe Biden and Trans / Equality advocate
30th May 2015The 46-year-old son of Joe Biden died from brain cancer. Beau Biden was the eldest son of Joe Biden. He was described as an “outspoken supporter of LGBT rights” by Advocate magazine. He had been battling brain cancer for several years.

‘I am devastated. Rich was my soul mate, my collaborator, my best friend and my life. Seeing him battle ALS for four years with such grace and courage inspired me and all who knew him.
In this dark time, I take some consolation in the fact that he got to see Still Alice go out into the world. He put his heart and soul into that film, and the fact that it touched so many people was a constant joy to him.

5th March 2015Shafer first came to public attention when he appeared at age 27 in a photo spread in Playgirl Magazines ‘Holiday 1990’ issue, and was chosen as their Man Of The Year in 1992. He documented all the process and pressures he was under from all sides to pose as straight into the 1995 movie he directed and starred in. He died on the 8th March 2015.

RIP Jackie Collins, Dies From Breast Cancer Aged 77
The author Jackie Collins has died at the age of 77 from breast cancer in Los Angeles.
The family of Jackie Collins have confirmed that best selling author Jackie Collins has died from breast cancer at the age of 77.
A statement released by the family said,
“It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one-of-a-kind mother,”
“She was a true inspiration, a trailblazer for women in fiction and a creative force. She will live on through her characters but we already miss her beyond words,”
In her lifetime Collins is credited with selling over 500 million books. At the time of her death Collins had penned 32 novels and had largely defined the “bonkbuster” genre.
Her sister, Joan Collins told People Magazine in the US that she was devastated by the news.
“She was my best friend. I admire how she handled this. She was a wonderful, brave and a beautiful person and I love her,”
Jackie Collins has long been a strong advocate for the LGBT community. In an interview with Out magazine she revealed that as a teenager she had crush on a boy called Peter, who later committed suicide. She said,
“When I was 15 and thrown out of school, I went to a drama school, a preparatory academy in England, and there was this lovely guy there called Peter,” she says. “He was my first gay crush, really, and we got along like a house on fire — and one day he committed suicide. And that made me think really deeply about the problems that some poor guys go through when they want to come out.
“I’ll never forget Peter,” she says. “He was so good-looking; he had curly hair, and he was tall and lovely. He just couldn’t come out, and then he killed himself. He must have been about 17, maybe.
Right from the beginning of her writing career Collins had introduced gay characters. She said,
“I’ve written 29 books, and I’ve always had gay characters, right from the very beginning
“Sometimes they might be a little clichéd, and sometimes not.”
She leaves behind three children.

Former MP Who Voted “Consistently” Against Pro-LGBT Laws Dies, Aged 83
Ex-Tory MP, Teresa Gorman, who voted against major pro-LGBT laws between 1998 and 2000 has died at the age of 83.

RIP: Mr Gay World 2010 Has Died, Aged 33
LGBT campaigner and Mr Gay World 2010 has died at the age of 33.
After a short battle against lymphatic cancer, Mr Gay South Africa 2009, Charl van den Berg has died at the age of 33. He won the Mr Gay South Africa title in 2009 and then won the Mr Gay World title in Olso in 2010.
A statement released by the Mr Gay World organisation said,
“It is with deep sorrow that we learned of the passing of one of the prominent members of the Mr. Gay World™ family, Charl van den Berg, Mr. Gay World™ 2010 from South Africa who lost his mercifully short battle with lymphatic cancer.
“Charl always conducted himself in a friendly, approachable and exemplary fashion, keeping his feet firmly on the ground and doing the job he was chosen for without airs and graces. His infectious laughter and warm character made him an absolute pleasure to work with.”
An announcement on his Facebook page said that a funeral will take place on the 14th August.
The former title holder said upon winning the world-wide Mr Gay World competition that it was his aim to “break down stereotypes and differing mindsets in the global community and promote oneness and equality for all people by bridging the gap between those mindsets.
“It is my understanding that people are people before we are different.”

Legendary singer and TV presenter Cilla Black has passed away at the age of 72.

Man Dies At Gay Sauna In South London
A man was pronounced dead at one of London’s most popular gay saunas last weekend.
The unnamed man was pronounced dead at the Waterloo branch of Chariots by paramedics and is being treated as “non-suspicious” the Evening Standard reports.
The Chariots group of saunas, which operates a zero tolerance on drugs, has four venues across London and describes itself as the “the UK’s biggest gay and bi-sexual men sauna group”.
A source at the sauna said, the man had died of natural causes, “from a heart attack”. The man’s death was not related to drug usage.
In February three men were taken to casualty after falling ill at the Vauxhall branch.

Equal Marriage and Trans Advocate, Beau Biden, Dies
Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden has died from Brain cancer the White House has confirmed.
Joe Biden’s son, Beau, 46, died from brain cancer on Saturday evening. A statement from the Vice President Joe Biden, read,
“It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life…”
Beau Biden was the eldest son of Joe Biden. He was described as an “outspoken supporter of LGBT rights” by Advocate magazine. He had been battling brain cancer for several years.
In April 2013 Biden was a key player along with Delaware Governor Jack Markell in marriage equality legislation and establishing legal protections based on gender identity in Delaware.
Biden is survived by his wife, Hallie, and two children.
The state of Delaware legalised same-sex marriage on May 7th 2013, with the law going into effect on July 1st, 40 years after the Delaware repealed its sodomy law in July 1973.
