This is the busiest and best outdoor cruising area in Newcastle and Gateshead. I have seen lots of fit young guys fucking in the bushes, during afternoons and early evening. It is a vast 55,000 sq metres of woods and bushes, which is very cruisy and attracts guys from all over the north of England. The area is very overgrown and wild, screened off from the street by dense vegetation.
Mandela Way runs from Metro Centre railway station round to CostCo cash and carry. There are three laybys (two on the left, one on the right) where you can park. Or for discretion you can park 5 mins away at the Blue car park at Metro Centre, in Delta Bank Road, or at Costco itself.
Enter the cruising area at three points:-
1. Layby at top of Mandela Way as road bends:

Once inside the cruising zone, there are different areas to explore:
