  • Jonathan Cheban Has Left The Big Brother House

Kim Kardashian’s BFF Jonathan Cheban Has Left The Big Brother House.

Producers have confirmed that Jonathan Cheban has left the Big Brother house.

A spokesperson confirmed his exit by saying, “Jonathan Cheban has decided to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House. His exit will appear in tomorrow night’s show on Channel 5 at 9pm.”

The news comes just two days after Cheban had voiced his concerns about feeling comfortable in the house and suffering anxiety.

In 2012 Cheban had his sexuality questioned by Kim and then-husband Kris Humprhries.

Kris Humphries suggested that Jonathan might not be straight, which caused Kim to take matters into her own hands and ask the question outright, “What is your preference? Girls, guys, what?”

Kim even had an entire episode of her reality show dedicated to the speculation about his sexuality, although Heavy.com notes that “We’ve never really gotten a solid answer.”

  • CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER’S Most Shocking Homophobic Moments

Celebrity Big Brother has had some clangers when it comes to homophobic moments.

Here are Celebrity Big Brother’s most shocking homophobic moments.

    Winston McKenzie

    BACK TO THE WALLS.

McKenzie hadn’t even stepped foot inside the house before he uttered a sentence that had fans of the show slamming his homophobia. He said he could cope with gays in the house, but he’d have to have his back to the wall.
    Alexander O’Neal

     YOU SILLY ASSED FAGGOT

O’Neal was so wound up by Perez Hilton in 2015 that he ended up calling the celebrity blogger as “silly ass faggot”, before Michelle Visage stepped in and stopped him from saying anything further. Producers warned the 80’s crooner about his language use but he was not removed from the house.

    Evander Holyfield

    HOMOSEXUALITY IS A HANDICAP

How Evander managed to keep his place in Big Brother is beyond us after he went on a homophobic tirade in which he said homosexuality was wrong. During a conversation with Luisa Zissman, Holyfield said homosexuality was the same as a ‘handicap’ person and it is something that could be fixed by doctors.

    Dappy

    BENTGATE

The N-Dubz star was warned by CBB producers in 2014 about the use of language after using a gay slur. He had been asked if he had ever sucked his own penis when he replied “Do I look bent?”.

  • Winston McKenzie Booted From Celebrity Big Brother

Wannabe London Mayor Winston McKenzie has been voted out of Celebrity Big Brother.

Winston McKenzie has been evicted from the CBB house bringing an end to one of the most controversial starts to a Celebrity Big Brother series.

Even before he had stepped foot into the UK’s most famous house, he had upset thousands of viewers with his comment about being able to live in the house with gays, as long as he kept his back to the wall.

During his stay in the house Winston had tried to defend his statement that adoption by gay couples of children was like child abuse, which led Angie Bowie to say that McKenzie could “suck her big one”.

When asked by Emma WIllis, during his exit interview he continued to try and defend his “beliefs”.

He said, “I’m a Christian; I expressed my feelings at the time. It doesn’t mean to say that I’m one to tell someone who wants to adopt a child, that they can’t do so, I don’t make the rules. My comment was made in the heat of the moment, the press were on me, it was a General Election and they got what they were looking for. So whatever comment I made at that time, it wasn’t something that was done from the heart. The simple fact is they portrayed it the way, however spiteful they wanted. I agree with my heartfelt feelings. I’m not going to change my mind, or the way I am.”

Emma continued to ask does he still think gay adoption is likeable to child abuse, Winston replies: “Would you like me to sit here and lie? We don’t need to go over it again. I’ve made my statement.”

Emma believes it is such a shame and a sad view to have.

He goes onto say: “The work I do for homeless children and mothers, and people who are destitute, I can match any MP because people know me as the man of the people. I step in as I know what it is to struggle.”

  • ANGIE BOWIE: Winston McKenzie Can Suck My Big One

A homophobic storm has hit the Big Brother house after Winston McKenzie tries to explain his beliefs about gay couples adopting children.

An explosive feud between Angie Bowie and controversial politician and London Mayor wannabe Winston McKenzie is brewing after McKenzie tried to explain his belief that adoption of children by gay couples is akin to child abuse.

McKenzie was nominated by the LGBT charity Stonewall as Bigot Of The Year in 2013 for the comment.

In tonight’s episode during a task where the celebs have to see how well they know each other, Winston is correctly identified as having described adoption by gay couples as child abuse, debate sparks.

    McKenzie tried to explain,

“How can I? I’m a Christian. How can I go against my beliefs? No I’m not homophobic, no I don’t hate gays, people live their lives as according to how they want to live.”

Later that evening David Gest is talking to Angie Bowie about what had gone down earlier with Winston.
    Angie tells David

“I didn’t do 45 years fighting for gay rights for f*cking nothing. I’m not tolerating that c*ap. If he comes within 10 feet of me it’s over. My f*cking eyes nearly popped out of my head. I knew it was him, it’s not like anyone else would have said such a stupid thing. And if he didn’t say it, he didn’t prove to me that he didn’t.

    David says,

“I love you and I love everything you stand for.”

    Angie then continues,

“Well thank you but at the moment I only stand for being an absolute pratt for having trusted him, for having said nice things about him. What was he all the time? A little mincing, f*cking, stereotypical straight a*sshole hiding behind that it’s a Christian belief. Suck my big one. And when you’re done with that do it again, on your f*cking knees. Piece of cr*p.

CBB continues tonight on Channel 5 at 9PM

  • FILM REVIEW | The Danish Girl

FILM REVIEW | The Danish Girl

Oscar-winning Director Tom Hooper (‘The Kings Speech’) and Oscar-winning Actor Eddie Redmayne (‘The Theory of Everything’) bring us the life of a male Dutch artist who, with the support from his wife, becomes a woman, in the new film ‘The Danish Girl.’ ★★★

Based on the book of the same name by David Ebershoff, ‘The Danish Girl’ tells the real life story of Einar Wegener (Redmayne) who never felt right as a man so transitioned into a woman, being one of the first known recipients ever of reassignment surgery. It was with the support of his wife and fellow painter Gerde Wegener (Alicia Vikander) that gave him the courage and hope that helped him through the transition to live the rest of his life as Lili Elbe. But the film portrays Einar’s transition and Gerde’s acceptance as a dull one, there are no real revelations, nothing exciting about the story, and even Redmayne’s performance is a bit under the radar. It’s Vikander who steals the movie right from under Redmayne’s corset.
The movie tells us that Einar’s interest in all things transgender suddenly happened when Gerde asked him to fill in for a female model who didn’t show up for one of her painting sessions. So she asks Wegener to put on a dress so that she can finish the painting. Wegener likes the way it feels, but more importantly he likes the way he looks in it, and this suddenly awakens Einar’s inner woman. This takes place in 1926 while the couple was living in the liberal land of Copenhagen, though such things were not done, nor not even discussed back then. But with Gerde’s full support, and help, Einar starts dressing up as a woman outside of their house. Things get a bit more complicated when another man, Henrick (Ben Whishaw) takes an interest in Einar, who by this time has started calling herself Lili.
Gerde is asked to go to Paris so that she can work for a local art dealer, and while her career flourishes, their marriage slowly dissolves. And a childhood friend of Lili’s, Hans (Matthias Schoenaerts) shows up and forms a complex triangle with the couple. And it’s not long before Einar goes ahead with the surgery.
‘The Danish Girl’ is dull. It’s not a sweeping European love story where love conquers all in the midst of one man’s gender confusion and one woman’s loyalty to such man. Hooper’s direction can’t bring Lucinda Coxon’s boring script to life. Not even the actors can accomplish this.
Redmayne is good as Einar/Lili, yet there were times when I thought I was still watching him play Stephen Hawking. It’s his eyes, he blinks them quite a lot in this film, just like the way he did in ‘The Theory of Everything.’ However, ‘The Danish Girl’ is pretty much Vikander’s movie.
She’s beautiful and emotional and accepting when the times call for it – it’s just as good a performance as Felicity Jones was as in ‘The Theory of Everything.‘ Vikander’s star is on a meteoric rise, having appeared in three films this past year (‘Ex Machina,’ ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.‘ and ‘Burnt‘). She’s currently filming the fifth Bourne Identity film with Matt Damon and Tommy Lee Jones and has two other features coming out in 2016. I was very disappointed that ‘The Danish Girl’ was not as good as I had hoped, perhaps it might be better to read the actual book, and skip the movie.by Tim Baros
