    John Lewis has something to hang alongside your baubles

    Bravo bravo

    John Lewis is on to winner here. We can feel it.

    The famous high-street department store is selling these Aubergine bauble tree decorations and we’re dying.

    The cheeky hanging (we’re not sure if it’s to the left or to right) decorations are currently being listed on the John Lewis website and are retailing at £8.

    The aubergine has long been associated with a certain part of the male anatomy and has become a staple part of sexting on social media and hook up apps like Grindr.

    However, it appears that the designers of the hanging decoration have either ignored this connection, completely ignorant of its day-to-day use – or are very very savvy people.

    Apparently, it’s all part of John Lewis’s “Garden Retreat” decoration pack, which the website suggests “surrounding yourself in nature can ease the mind”.

    Well quite.

    Alongside your Aubergine, you could hang their Corn, Asparagus or Avocado bauble…

    Here it is: the Elton John Lewis Christmas advert.

    Here at TGUK tower, Christmas doesn’t officially start until we see the John Lewis advert. In the past, we’ve been left in a collective ball of sobbing queens. This year is no exception, but you’ll have to wait for the very last frame before the squish factor really comes in.

    The story focuses on Elton John sitting at the piano, recalling his life as a mega pop star through his famous hit, “Your Song”. All throughout the years, his trusty piano has been by his side.

    Of course, the advert has left many on social media divided.

    Some, of course, are very cynical,

     

     

    For some it was welcomed with open arms

    Some used the advert to take a swipe at the government

    Anyway, enjoy and remember, THIS. HAS. NOTHING. TO. DO. WITH. THE. NEW. ELTON JOHN FILM OR TOUR….

  • WATCH: John Lewis Ad Gets The Kylie Treatment

    This is is pretty darn amazing. A super fan has changed the soundbed for John Lewis’s latest tear-jerker Christmas ad and replaced it with our Kylie!

    Changing up the sound from Aurora’s Half The World Away for Kylie and James Cordon’s Crimbo single Only You a Kylie super fan has created a wonderful video where the song fits really well. There’s even a hashtag – #ItShouldHaveBeenKylie – basically, it should have been.

    And just in case you’re wondering Kylie is a fan too!
