  • New single announced for Kylie

    Fans of Kylie, stand ye to attention, as pop’s most purty princess reveals the title of her new single.

    “Into The Blue” will be the first track taken from Kylie’s highly anticipated new album to be released later this year.

    The song, a euphoric return to the dance-floor after 2012’s, “Abbey Road Sessions”, was written by Kelly Sheehan (Mary J Blige, Rita Ora, Beyonce).
    Kylie spent 2013 recording her new album in both the U.S. and the UK with a host of producers including, Pharrell, Greg Kurstin, Metrophonic, Cutfather, MNEK and Ariel Rechtshaid. The new album will be Kylie’s 12th studio record and the first album of new material since 2010’s “Aphrodite”.

    Kylie said: “2013 was a year of big change, planning and preparation for me and I’m so excited that 2014 is finally here so I can share this new music . Into The Blue is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I’ve been feeling – I can’t wait for it to be out there.”

    Kylie has also recently joined The Voice as a coach; the first episode airs this Saturday (11th January).
    “Into The Blue” will be released on 16th March 2014 on Parlophone Music.

  • Kylie Minogue releases new song lyric video

    Pop star Kylie Minogue has released a lyric video for a new song “Skirt”, which is seen as a teaser of her long awaited new album.

    The lyric video, which shows Kylie looking stunning in a fitted dress, has been launched on her official web page. The stop motion style video is partially made up of a thousand photographs shot by fellow Australian photographer and director Will Davidson. The up-tempo dance track is somewhat edgier than the style of her last album, Aphrodite, and may be a sign of a different musical direction for her since her announcement that she had signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation earlier this year. Never one to shy away from a change of image, her official website does say that “the song which made its way from the studio straight to the DJs is just a taste of new music to come”. The album, which is a follow up to Aphrodite, will be her 12th studio album and is thought to be scheduled for release some time later this year; although no release date has been confirmed.

    Kylie Minogue has broken all previous records on the social networking site Twitter when her fanbase achieves over 25,000 tweets about her brand new comeback single Timebomb in just 43 minutes.

    Kylie promised to unveil the brand new single on her official website if 25,000 tweets with the hashtag #KylieTimeBomb was achieved, a feat completed in just 43 minutes, making her a #1 trending topic worldwide in just 4 minutes.

    Minogue told her fans: “You did it!!! I wanna wanna whoop.”
