  • Clean Bandit’s Neil Amin-Smith Slams Olly Murs’ Coming Out

    Neil Amin-Smith has hit out Olly Murs’s news as “boring” and “appalling”.

    Openly gay, Clean Bandit’s band member Neil Amin-Smith and former boyfriend to Olly Alexander has seemingly slammed the news that Olly Murs has come out as 20 per cent gay.

    In a tweet Neil said,

    I did read more than the headline & I was still a curious mix of bored & appalled @ollyofficial pls fast-forward 2 ur musical theatre career

    The retort came after Olly Murs urged his fans to read more than just The Sun’s headline about his gay claim.

    He also took a swipe at Olly Murs’ career suggesting that Olly is on a fast track towards a musical theatre career.

    A number of X Factor stars have moved in musical theatre since leaving the show. Joe McElderry in now touring in Joseph while Marcus Collins is starring in Kinky Boots.
