  • ADVICE | How to wax your bum

    If you’re tired of a hairy crack and you’re looking to do a bit of waxing then listen up as we’ve got some tips for you!

    Last week we gave you tips on how to wax your sack and this week it’s all about the crack. If you want a smooth bum then here are some tips to help you get the most out of your waxing experience.

    We asked waxing expert, Fardad Moayeri, the CEO of Parissa, for some top tips on waxing your bum and back in the comfort of your own home.

    To do these areas Fardad suggests using leg-body wax strips, you can get these from Amazon

    GET A PARTNER TO HELP

    Best thing to do is to work with a partner on the back and crack as they can be difficult areas to access. If you can’t work with a partner, then your mirror will have to be your best friend.

    BACK TO THE MIRROR

    Stand with your back facing the mirror and turn your head to determine where you need hair removal.

    DIRECTION OF HAIR

    Check out the direction of hair growth…then start applying the wax strips in the direction of hair growth and zip-off in the opposite direction.

    KEEP IT TIGHT

    Since you’ll want to keep your skin as tight as possible, you can try either sitting backwards on a chair and arching your back…or just arch your back when you’re standing.

    THREE THINGS TO REMEMBER

    1) The key point that makes all the difference: press-on strips IN DIRECTION of hair growth. Zip-off in the OPPOSITE direction of hair growth.
    2) The quicker the strip is removed the better the results.
    3) If you’ve got long hairs…trim them to about 0.5cm.

  • Can Twitter Predict 2014’s X Factor Winner?

    The last couple of years we’ve put together a science based (not really) system that will almost accurately predict the winner of X Factor, it’s called TWATS (Twitter Winning And Theoretical Service)

    Based on the fanbases of the contestants (their twitter following) we have almost accurately predict the top 4 of each of the series.

    In 2012, we predicted that Union J, Lucy Spraggan, Ella Henderson and James McArthur would be victorious – that instance, James McArthur won and Ella Henderson came 6th Union J came 4th. Lucy Spraggan left the competition due to sickness.

    In 2013 the top 4 in the TWATS were Sam Callahan, Nicholas McDonald, Kingsland Road and Tamera Foster. In the end Sam Bailey came first Nicholas McDonald came second, Luke Friend and Rough Copy came 4th. Tamera came 5th and Sam came 7th.

    So judging on this year’s numbers:

    1) How old is Freddy Parker?

    Fresh-faced Freddy Parker is 18-years-old and was born in 1998.

    2) Is Freddy Parker Gay?

    Since entering the X Factor competition thousands of people have search THEGAYUK to find out if Freddy Parker is gay or not. Although we’ve researched his social media accounts it looks as though Freddy identifies as straight, but is comfortable to photographed with other guys in just their swimwear. Bravo!

    3) He originally comes from Ashford in Maidstone.

    Up until his appearance in the X Factor Freddy was a schoolboy at the Sutton Valence School in Kent.

    4) He’s a huge Lady Gaga fan…

    …and why wouldn’t he be! After seeing her in concert he remarked, “I’ve been to heaven.”

    He narrowly evaded going to jail after being handed a 9-month driving ban, reduced from 12 months, after crashing his car while over the legal drink limit. He went on a drink-driving course back in February.

    Freddy said,

    “It was such a stupid error of judgement. I was so naive to think I could touch even a bit of alcohol and get behind the wheel of my car.
    “I’ve listened to other people’s stories and it horrifies me to think about the damage I could have done.”

    7) He’s got 22,600 fans on Twitter.

    Just a baby when it comes to X Factor’s hall of fame on Twitter, but we’re only a few weeks into the show.

    8) Has he got big balls?

    Nicole seems to think so! During Motown week, #FreddyBigBalls was an actual trend on Twitter after she told him he had a big pair!

    9) His teeth have been professionally whitened

    As with all X Factor contestants, his teeth have been given the Simon Cowell treatment.

    10) He cheated on his words!

    Perhaps he thought we wouldn’t notice but during the X Factor audition process, he wrote his lyrics on the palm of his hand!

    Goodness me. We need to have a lie-down. Not only did we discover this week that Bratavio’s Bradley Hunt was hiding a seriously hot body, but blonde hunk Freddy Parker is hiding an incredible body as these Instagram posts from last year reveal.

    Usually found hiding his bod behind the piano Freddy certainly has got a smoking hot body and luckily we’re treated to a number of pictures showcasing his poolside look.

     

    For Motown week, the second of the live shows, Freddy got out front behind the piano to showcase his frontmanship. His performance got judge Nicole very excited who exclaimed, “he’s got legs!”

    During a segment where judges had to pick a front door from the ones presented on the screen in front of them, Rylan quipped, “I love a front door” to which Simon responded, “I thought you liked back doors?”

    The other judges looked shocked and Nicole started to wave her hands in Simon’s face.

    Rylan retorted by sashaying over to Simon, sitting on the side of Simon’s desk saying,

    “Oh, Simon! Would you like me to show you how much?”

    Simon was left red-faced after realising that his joke was in poor taste and after Rylan suggested that he show the judge how much he liked the “backdoor”.

    Instantly Simon knew he had taken the joke too far and apologised immediately.

    The head judge said, ”I apologise. I shouldn’t have said that – sorry, sorry, sorry.”

    This year’s X Factor has been dogged with homophobic responses from its at-home audience. When Louis Walsh chose Bratavio for his category, his sexuality was called into question by fans of the show and both Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro, Bratavio’s members, were both homophobically abused and even sent death threats over social media.

    Greg Rutherford’s bum was once again up for debate in last night’s episode of Strictly as judge Bruno Tonioli said he couldn’t take his eyes off it.

    Greg Rutherford‘s bum has become a national talking point and it all started last week when his bottom became the subject of a both criticism and praise for being so muscly.

    The show’s host, Tess Daly, even joked that the women next to her were saying “nice bum” whilst Greg was whirling around the dance floor with his partner Natalie Lowe.

    After last week’s discussion about Greg’s toosh, the theme continued when Judge Len Goodman took the opportunity to tell the Olympian that his “bum was going to town”.

    But it was the openly gay judge Bruno who ramped up the flirting, shouting,

    “Keep going tiger… oooh Hurricane Greg.

    “ooh, you are an animal with a butt of marble.”

    With his eyes rolled to the ceiling, Bruno revealed he simply couldn’t take his eyes off Greg’s perky assets. “I don’t know why!” he quipped.

    The flirting all started when Greg rather coyly gave Bruno his candy floss.

    Which clearly made the judge’s day.

    Yikes. Former X Factor star Sam Callahan has had a solo sex tape leaked onto the web.

    The sexy star has spoken out against the leaked tape, which sees him pleasuring and fingering himself, saying that the video ended up in the wrong hands after he pressed send.

    He said,

    “I was young and foolish back then,

    “Unfortunately I wrongly trusted the person I was speaking to at the time and was completely betrayed and catfished.

    “It’s not something that would happen now. I’m way too focused and driven to put myself in that risky situation, but I guess we live and learn.”

    Depending on how old the video is and considering that Sam is just 22, the video could actually be illegal to host if he was a minor at the time.

    Speaking to the Sun the singer confirmed that he was “just a teenager” at the time.

    Sam has never strayed from nakedness, having been photographed naked numerous times. Before he appeared on X Factor the star stripped naked and skinny dipped for charity.

    This latest leak, however, was not sanctioned by the singer and is a breach of his privacy.

    Apparently, the receiver of the video had tried to sell the sex tape but ended up leaking it online.

    So the internet sort of had a meltdown when it seemed that X Factor hunk Marcus Collins hinted that the X Factor was a fix.

    Marcus Collins has been getting himself into the papers thanks to a cheeky meme. Some news outlets went to town on the meme in which Marcus Collins seemed to say that the X Factor was fixed.

    The meme, which was actually sent to Marcus has caused a mini-meltdown with the Daily Star, Daily Mirror and Digital Spy all reporting that Marcus was saying that the flagship ITV show was a fix.

    However, the Liverpool lad has commented on all the attention, slamming the outlets for having a “slow news day”.

    He uploaded a picture with the caption,

    “My reaction watching the foolishness that’s come off the back of one meme I posted this week! It’s just a funny meme someone sent me. you’ve taken it too far. slow week for 3 national papers. ????”

    So what meme did the papers go to town on?

    Well, Marcus uploaded a picture with a caption that seemed to suggest that he already knew the outcome of the X Factor final in 2011, in which he came runner-up to Little Mix.

    Chances are if you’ve used Strawberry Lube you’ve probably been using it properly. You know for sex. However, these hilarious Amazoners have been using their lube for different purposes – some of the crafty buggers have used the sticky lube as a breakfast spread.

    As yummy as strawberry lube can be, you probably shouldn’t be using it as a spread for your / your Mother-in-Law’s sandwiches (although it is totally non-toxic).
