Boy George Joins The Voice
Boy George and Paloma Faith have been named as the newest judges to choice the BBC’s flagship talent show.
Boy George and Paloma Faith will join Will I Am and Ricky Wilson in the new series of The Voice.
Speaking about their new coach roles on The Voice UK, Boy George says:
“I’m thrilled and excited to be a coach on The Voice UK. I’m a huge fan of the show and have watched and engaged with it from series one. If I can help someone to win I will be delighted. What a wonderful opportunity to share my experiences and help someone move forward with their musical career. I can’t wait to sit in that chair!”
Paloma Faith adds:
“I’m really excited about working with creative people who are there not just to be great singers, but also innovative personalities and performers. I have a long history of helping break artists as in my club nights I booked Kate Nash, Adele, and The Noisettes before they hit the big time, and four of my band members have gone on to pursue successful solo careers. I’m really looking forward to getting my teeth into something that cultivates the talents of another person and takes the focus off myself for a bit.”
The coaches will all be heading to Media City in Salford, Manchester for the blind auditions next month ahead of a new series, which launches on BBC One in January 2016.

REVIEW | A Naughty Night With Noël Coward at the Old Red Lion Theatre Islington
Absurdly polite confrontations, beastly upper-class pompousness, all served up with preposterous hilarity.
Director Jimmy Walters, co-founder of Proud Haddock, has brought to life two works of one of the most famous actor-director-producer-playwrights, Noël Coward. You’ll feel as though you’ve been pulled back to the 1920s for 70mins with two authentic performances of Noël’s short one act plays.
In the first – We Were Dancing – Louise (Lianne Harvey), a married woman, supposedly falls pinned-curls-over-oxford-heels in love – without so much as a first name exchange – with Karl (James Sindall), a chap she’s just met on the dance floor of a South Pacific country club. Replace the waltz with bare-chested shape-throwing and that’s just another normal night at XXL.
Once the euphoric bubble bursts and carnal frenzy fades, what’s left? In today’s world, would they even swap digits?
Brilliantly awkward with a good old-fashioned, British stiff-upper-lip marriage break-up, all executed with high society etiquette.
In the second – The Better Half – Alice (Tracey Pickup) is bored, and has fallen out of love with her drippy husband David (Stephen Fawkes). Blunt Alice attempts to rile David with confessions of adultery, and tries to push him into the arms of her friend Marion (Beth Eyre) – car-key swapping partiers weren’t around back then. Drippy David accepts the affairs – in his mind, that’s the honourable thing to do – which leads to Alice’s hysterical hysteria.
In the speakeasy golden 20s it wasn’t so easy to speak of infidelity. Nowadays it’s a lot simpler, a few words on WhatsApp or a quick Snapchat, and out the door one totters.
Pickup really picks up Alice’s nuances and breathes life into the character – the crowd sympathised with Alice, no contest.
By the end of the night the 20s weren’t the only thing roaring in the Old Red Lion’s intimate theatre – the humour is as fresh as the performance, and the audience found the both acts jolly agreeable.

Stonewall Movie Trailer Is Here
The trailer for Stonewall is out and it looks amazing.
Starring Jeremy Irvine (pictured) and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Stonewall documents the Stonewall riots.
The protests, which happened around the Stonewall Inn in New York, were the results of a gay community relentlessly discriminated against and bullied by the police force in New York.
The Stonewall riots are often cited as the start of the modern gay rights movement.
The film is due to open in the US 25th September

PROBLEM AUNTY | Does My Boyfriend Watch Too Much Porn?
It seems there’s been a few issues with men and sex and porn recently. Personally, the only issue I have is I can’t get enough! But, it’s not all about me so let’s take a look at some of your problems because it’s all about you!
Dear Aunty,
My boyfriend is always watching porn and I think he may have a problem. I’ve seen him five times this month watching stuff on his phone and yet we haven’t had real sex for nearly two months. Should I tell him to go get help or tell him it’s me or the porn?
Larry, Birmingham
Larry dear,
Never tell a man it’s his pornography or you, as you’ll never win. Men and pornography go together like one night stands and crabs. Since the dawn of man they’ve been etching images of their manhoods, usually over-inflated I might add, to arouse the masses and share sordid stories. So once the internet was invented, for the sole purpose of sharing pornography, men old and young have been beating away at quicker speeds. The trick here is to embrace technology. Suggest making your own home movie with him being the star. Failing that strap an iPad to your back playing the latest ‘men-with-veg’ series and watch him jump right in there.Aunts xx

Neighbours Goes Gay… Hurrah
Neighbours has gone all gay on us, and naturally we’re excited as all butter.
Male on male kissing in Neighbours? As a young boy watching the Aussie export, I thought I’d never see the day, but here we are as Nate and Aaron have a tumble in bed.
The steamy scene which aired last week here in the UK, saw characters Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and Nate Kinski (Meyne Wyatt) share their first kiss on screen, but it wasn’t a private moment. No they did it in front of an audience. They were doing it as part of a promotion stunt for Lassiter’s hotel. In our opinion they should have sold tickets.
So let’s get this straight, put two ridic hot lads into a glass box, give them an audience… and they start kissing? Okay, we need to get the Cube installed in the office.
Woof. Is all we can say.
Neighbours in on Channel 5 daily

New Trailer From X FACTOR Is Here and It Is A Bit Creepy
Wow… there’s something extremely disturbing about the new X FACTOR promo released by ITV.
Deep underground, we’re thinking it’s actually Simon Cowell’s lair, Caroline Flack and Olly Murs discover the factory that is in charge of the secret formula for winning the UK’s biggest Karaoke competition, proving the countdown to Christmas is nearly here.
Nick Grimshaw, who is a “new judge from scratch” is fitted with a microchip which makes him sound like Louis Walsh, where as Cheryl has been turned into a robot, which looks very convincing.
Finally, Simon Cowell is absolutely sure he’s found the winner of this year’s competition.
