    Glamberts are you ready for Adam’s next album? To celebrate he’s released a teaser.

    The track will feature on Adam’s highly-anticipated new album The Original High, executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback. Hear it in full on April 21st.

    The track which was released this morning on Instagram has already had 15,100 likes. The song’s producer, Max Martin is famed for his catchy songwriting and is credited with some of the biggest pop hits of the decade including hits for Britney Spears and Pink.

  • Gay New Years Honours 2015 Announced

    This year’s New Year’s Honours for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Trans (LGBT) community, voted for by the readers of THEGAYUK magazine for the heroes that have helped, supported or fought for the LGBT Community in 2014.

    Thousands of people nominated and voted for 24 individuals, companies and organisations, which have contributed, to the community in eight categories.

    Adam Lambert, ASDA and the Naked Rowers are just some of the big names that have won the admiration of voters. Amongst those recognised were George Montague, the self-proclaimed ‘Oldest Gay In The Village’ who has just released a book about nine decades of being gay in Britain.

    This is the third year that TheGayUK has run the New Year’s Recognition, deemed to be the gay New Year’s Honours, however 2014/15 is the first year in which members of the public were invited to nominate and then vote for anyone, any company or organisation they deemed to have aided the LGBT community in the previous year. Thousands of people took the opportunity to nominate and then vote on their heroes.

    The eight categories are: Entertainment, Education, Community Project, Politics, Activism and Awareness, Sports, Health and Businesses.

  • Adam Lambert returns to idol

    The out and proud singer is to make a return to Idol – this time as a judge.

    Adam Lambert, the first openly gay singer to achieve a number 1 album on the billboard charts in 2012, is to make a return to the home that made him famous, American Idol. This time as a judge.

    Keith Urban, who is a judge on the US version of Idol, had to leave to be with his wife Nicole Kidman, after her father’s died unexpectedly over the weekend.

    Adam Lambert rose to fame in the eighth season of Idol and won himself a legion of fans. He joins Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr as a judge as a temporary judge during the auditions.

    Speaking to Entertainment Tonight the “Never Close Our Eyes” singer said, ‘Unfortunately, it’s under these circumstances,

    ‘My condolences to Keith and his family.’

  • Adam Lambert Guest Of Honour At Last Ever We Will Rock You

    Adam Lambert was the personal guest of Brian May at the last ever performance of We Will Rock You in London at the weekend.

    Adam Lambert, the first openly gay artist to secure a number 1 album on the Billboard charts, was the guest of honour at the last ever production of We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre, London, this past weekend.

    The show, which was initially panned by critics, went on to run for 12 years, becoming one of the West End’s biggest commercial successes.

    The show was written by Ben Elton and co-produced by Phil McIntyre, Queen and Robert De Niro’s Tribeca company.

    Taking to Twitter, Adam tweeted, ‘Thanks @DrBrianMay and Roger Taylor for inviting me to see the closing night of West End’s We Will Rock You. Great performance!’

    Adam Lambert is currently in the UK rehearsing for an upcoming 24-date Queen tour of the United States, Australia, Canada and Tokyo.
