Olly, Mikey and Emre certainly didn’t hold back from answering the most difficult of your questions…

Eggs hard boiled or soft boiled? Chinese or Pizza? Dog or Cat?… If you’re still reading it was, “Poached”, “Chinese” and “Otter”.

Fear not though, it wasn’t all food and animal questions… apart from the Dinosaur or Unicorn question where strangely “Dinosaurs” won out.

There was some talk of the music industry greats where they preferred “Beyoncé to marry and Ri Ri to party with”.

They’d give Harry Styles an “11” out of 10, whilst judging their own fame at around a “7.3”.

Knowing if someone likes it crusty or not is a very important question in any relationship and YearsAndYears are certainly a fan of “Crusts”.We’re talking sandwiches dear!

On top of this they’re also a fan of the “unibrow”.

Ageing could be a problem for the boys as when asked about the return of Twin Peaks they were, “mixed about it. Love Twin Peaks but don’t want to see the cast looking old.” Then again if they could be anyone for a day it would be “Bruce Willis” and he has to be about 180 by now right?

Seeking advice on gym tips for their larger fans, the lads said to, “screw exercise and pass the potato chips”. Words we all like to hear, but, when talking about hot beverages they also say to “forget about the sugar, take a spoonful of me.” Not quite sure they’d t in the mug but maybe we could spoon elsewhere?

Finally the best and slightly disturbing question of the #Ask session enquired as to the cute Disney nickname they gave their dick. (Turns out, it was a slightly couldn’t be bothered to get up “Dopey”.)

  • What We Learnt: Ryan Reynolds

    What We Learnt: Ryan Reynolds

We can only imagine what the film decision process for making a film like Deadpool is like for Ryan Reynolds…

    DEADPOOL

‘What colour’s the suit?’ It’s Green, ‘Hell yes, I’ll do it’. It’s now Red, ‘Sign me up’. We’re re-making The Mask, It’s bright Yellow, ‘Sign me up’… Ok, we’re not sure about this, but someone who can answer for Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynolds.

It seems that on departure he did take a number of gifts home with him,
“I kept two things, the stuffed unicorn wearing ass-less leather chaps and the Deadpool suit because I waited 10 years to do the film so I’m keeping the f*cking suit.

His favourite colour is “Estelle Getty” but his favourite hair belonged to Zyan Malik. Post haircut Ryan asked, “Love to know where the discarded hair is and how it might be purchased. It’s not for a friend. It’s for me.”

It’s not just Zyan on the obsession list as he could “definitely imagine doing something with Spiderman at some point… (Looks dreamingly into space)”.
This fantasy of other Superheros continued when asked who was better – Iron Man or Captain America, he answered, “We’re talking about exotic dancing, right?”

When asked to reassure a young boy, who was underage to see Deadpool, his comforting words were, “We’re all just blood filled meat puppets marching inexorably towards death. Or Florida.”

    Deadpool is in cinemas now
    rated 15.

  • WHAT WE LEARNT | #AskBilliePiper

Gays of a certain age will know Billie Piper as the 17-year-old pop starlet that racked up hit after hit in the late 90s and early 00s.

Pop smashes such as “Girlfriend”, “Because We Want To” and “Day and Night” filled the dance floors of G-A-Y et al. Then she retired from music and became a legit actress wowing people in The Secret Diary Of A Call Girl and then later as the Doctor’s assistant, Rose, in Doctor Who.Well here’s what we learnt from her latest #askBillie.

Her go to film is The Dictator, It never fails to get a laugh out of her.

If she was stuck on a desert island and could only bring one thing she would use a Tardis to get off it. Right on brand message. (She’s in Doctor who in case you didn’t know!)

She likes her ears most about herself. This is because she doesn’t have to see them.

If she could be one age forever she’d be 26. Apparently it was a “brilliant age”.

She’s a period dress fanatic. Working on Penny Dreadful turned her on to all those busty dresses.

Her worst fear is Jelly fish. They can ruin holidays.

If she could choose her own name it would be Vinny, because she knew someone who was amazing with that name.

    WHAT WE LEARNT | #AskBorisJohnson

He’s consistently evaded answering whether he has leadership passions, but New York born Boris Johnson is some would argue, the most powerful Conservative politician in the land. He’s pro women, pro gay, pro-London but what else do we know about London’s gaffe prone, wild haired, Etonian.

The three Rs… He’s pro reform, renegotiation and referendum. It’s the best way forward for the UK and Europe.

Boris would be up for Clarkson’s job and he’s a “mega” petrol head fan – but maybe being PM would be the greater choice after David Cameron suggested BJ as leader, if the Tories reach a third term in power.

He wants to crack down on illegal immigrants and wants to sort out welfare, but is also very concerned about the rise in Islamophobia. He suggests Muslim leaders need to be “clearer in denunciation of extremism”.

London is a healthier place to live, lower Nox and CO2 and PM10s and they’ve planted 1000s of trees since he’s been in power. In fact 20,000 of them were planted in the Olympic park.

Delays on London’s creaking overground network have been cut by 66%, whilst demand is up 4 times.

He chooses Ulrika Jonsson as a dance partner and loves a boogie to Ministry of Sound.

He’s all about the Living Wage. Twenty-four companies paid it when they began on the issue, now it’s 516. Major retailers you are next…

Will the youth ever be able to buy a house in London? That’s the plan. 40,000 people have already been helped in this regard.
