    Mr Nasty took a swipe at Gemma Collins and he didn’t hold back

    Living up to his “Mr Nasty” credentials, Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner seemed to slam Gemma Collins for being “mediocre” and described her performance on the ITV show last week as “painful”.

    Speaking to The Sun the Aussie theatre producer said, “When I grew up people were bl**dy good at what they did. They were exceptional at something, so you were inspired by people on TV.

    “Now we celebrate mediocre in this country. That, it seems, has become the new celebrity.”

    He also admitted that he had never seen The Only Way Is Essex, saying that he was “too busy” and that life was “too short” and so he had no idea who the GC was.

    He says he was at first excited to see her performance with Gemma’s own self declared hype, saying, “I had heard the hype from her own mouth, how amazing she is and how she’s better than Beyonce.

    “I thought, ‘Wow, wonderful, I can’t wait’, I’ve never had anyone that confident on the show at week one”

    Paying particular attention to last week’s routine, where Gemma Collins was dressed from head to toe in Gold he described her routine as painful and “uncomfortable” he said,

    “I was so excited. But then she came out and did what can only be described as one of the most painful routines I’ve ever had to sit through because it looked so uncomfortable.”

    Oooh errr.

    WATCH the terrifying anti-gay, acid attack on London’s streets

    Police have released horrifying footage of an unprovoked acid attack on men near one of east-London’s most popular LGBT+ venues

    A group of men who launched an unprovoked attack, which resulted in a number of people being sprayed with a noxious substance, on the streets of London have been sentenced. Three victims were left with acid burns to their bodies close to a popular gay venue in Hackney, in May 2018. Last week, nine men have been sentenced to lengthy spells in prison for their parts in the attack.

    Who were the men who received jail time for their part in the attack?

    Huseyin Onel, 24 (30.03.94) of no fixed abode, but from the Hackney area, was sentenced to 17 years in prison for applying a noxious substance causing grievous bodily harm (GBH), plus an additional three years on extended licence. Onel was sentenced to nine years each for six counts of casting a noxious substance and three years for violent disorder to run concurrently.

    Mehmet Tekagac, 30 (03.09.88) of Kenworthy Road, E9 was sentenced to 14-and-a-half years in prison for applying a noxious substance causing GBH, plus an additional three years on extended licence. To run concurrently, Tekagac was sentenced to eight years for robbery and three years for violent disorder.

    Onur Ardic, 27 (02.11.91) of Frampton Park Road, E9 was sentenced to 14 years in prison for applying a noxious substance causing GBH plus three years on extended licence. He was also sentenced to three years for violent disorder to run concurrently.

    Guven Ulas, 20 (21.12.98) of Pultney Street, N1, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for violent disorder.

    Mustafa Kiziltan, 30 (10.09.88) of no fixed abode, but from the Hackney area, was sentenced to a total of three years months in prison – 27 months for violent disorder and nine months for dangerous driving. He was also sentenced to three months for failing to stop, this will run concurrently.

    Serkan Kiziltan, 22 (03.11.96) of Well Street, E9, was sentenced to 18 months for violent disorder.

    Umit Kaygisiz, 21 (26.12.97) of Orsman Road, N1, was sentenced to a total of 28 months in prison for violent disorder and attempting to convey a prohibited item into prison (namely a mobile phone).

    Yasam Erdogan, 24 (24.11.94) of Nightingale Road, N1, was sentenced to 18 months for violent disorder, suspended for two years.

    Turgut Adakan, 23 (20.06.95) of Roman Road, E6, was sentenced to 18 months for violent disorder, suspended for two years.

    All nine were sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court on Thursday, 17 January.

    The group launched a ferocious attack

    The incident unfolded at approximately 05:15hrs on 5 May 2018, when a verbal altercation began between an unidentified male and Onur Ardic who was part a group of nine men who were sitting in cars on Alvington Crescent in Hackney.

    The unidentified male went to speak to Ardic and was quickly surrounded by the group before Mustafa Kiziltan punched him. En masse, the group launched a ferocious attack, punching and kicking the male for a sustained period.

    A group of people who had left a nearby club attempted to intervene to stop the attack with one of them – a man in his 20s – filming the assault.

    The suspect group took exception to this and attacked the man, kicking him to the ground and attempting to steal his phone. A number of this victim’s group went to their friend’s aid and a large brawl erupted.

    During this, Huseyin Onel – a member of the suspect group – entered one of the cars and was seen to exit a couple of seconds later carrying a white bottle. He used this bottle to spray a noxious substance, in the faces of a number of people.

    On realising the escalation of events, a number of the victim’s group began to run from the scene but Onel calmly targeted them, spraying liquid at their faces as they attempted to flee.

    Other members of the group – Mehmet Tekagac and Onur Ardic – were also involved in the corrosive substance attack on one of the group.

    Meanwhile, the vicious assault continued on the victim who had filmed the initial assault and only ended when a bag containing his phone had been ripped from him.

    He was left with a fractured eye socket and corrosive burns to his eye, with it initially believed his injuries would be life changing, but his recovery was described by doctors as ‘miraculous’.

    “They Run Hackney”

    The suspects then got into three cars and drove from the scene, shouting homophobic comments at members of the group, and that they ‘run Hackney’.

    Officers from Hackney, working alongside a crime scene examiner (CSE) attended the scene and began to collate evidence and secure CCTV that captured the vast majority of the attacks.

    Officers reviewed the footage and were able to identify the majority of the suspects. They were assisted by the CSE and Met’s Fingerprint Bureau, who were able to confirm which suspects had been holding the white bottle containing the noxious substance, and who had been attacking the unknown victim, which helped strengthen the case that secured these convictions.

    Over a four-month period, all nine suspects were identified, arrested and charged.

    “Truly shocking”

    Detective Constable David Leitner, of the Central East Command Unit, led the investigation. He said: “Nine violent and dangerous men have been removed from London’s streets today and will now spend a lengthy time locked up in prison.

    “The level of violence used in this attack, coupled with the speed that this incident escalated, are truly shocking.

    “A group of people who were enjoying themselves at the end of a night out were subjected to a sustained and relentless wave of violence including the use of a corrosive substance – because they acted as good Samaritans to help a male being subjected to a vicious assault.

    “The original victim who was attacked by the group has never been traced but I hope he, and all those who were set upon by this violent group of individuals, will take some comfort from the fact that this group has been convicted.”

    At Wood Green Crown Court on 21 November 2018, three of the group were found guilty as follows:

    Huseyin Onel was found guilty of eight counts of applying a corrosive fluid with intent and violent disorder.

    Mehmet Tekagac was found guilty of applying a corrosive fluid with intent and robbery. He had earlier pleaded guilty to violent disorder.

    Onur Ardic was found guilty of applying a corrosive substance with intent. He had earlier pleaded guilty to violent disorder.

    The six other men earlier pleaded guilty at Wood Green Crown Court to violent disorder.

    GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics Name 10th Dorian Award Winners

    GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, comprised of over 200 gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally entertainment journalists in the U.S., Canada, Australia and U.K., has announced its 10th Dorian Award winners across 26 TV and film categories.

    The Favourite lived up to its title with GALECA’s Dorian Award voters, who named the cheeky historical romp Film of the Year and bestowed its star, Olivia Colman, with the Film Performance of the Year—Actress tiara for her biting turn as Queen Anne. The sumptuous movie treat also scored Screenplay of the Year honors for Deborah Davis and Tony McNamara.

    Alfonso Cuarón, writer and helmer of Roma, the drama of a privileged family and their tragedy-stricken maid in 1970s Mexico City, was chosen Director of the Year, while the film itself was deemed the Foreign Language Film of the Year. Ethan Hawke took Film Performance of the Year—Actor for his work as a priest on the verge of madness in director Paul Schrader’s First Reformed. In supporting film performance categories, the winners were Regina King for If Beale Street Could Talk and Richard E. Grant for Can You Ever Forgive Me? The latter film, the fact-based dark comedy about a struggling New York writer who turns to forgery, was named GALECA’s Dorian Award winner for LGBTQ Film of the Year.

    In documentary categories, the biographical tributes Won’t You Be My Neighbor? and McQueen proved triumphant. As for GALECA’s unique category winners: The sci-fi hit Annihilation struck as Visually Striking Film of the Year; the female heist thriller Widows rallied as Unsung Film of the Year; and A Simple Favor, an outrageous mystery starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, nabbed the Society’s affectionate Campy Flick of the Year honor.

    Over on the TV side, FX’s Pose and Pop’s Schitt’s Creek both scored big with GALECA members. Pose—a drama set against the lively streets of New York City circa 1979—stood as TV Drama of the Year and LGBTQ Drama of the Year, also also helped its producer, Ryan Murphy, to his second Dorian Award win for Wilde Artist of the Year (Murphy is the first person to win this title twice in GALECA’s 10-year history). Pose’s star, Billy Porter, took two Dorians—one for TV Performance of the Year—Actor and a shared win with his costars MJ Rodriguez and Our Lady J for their moving rendition of “Home” on the series.

    Creek meanwhile, took TV Comedy of the Year as well as Unsung TV Comedy. Full Frontal With Samantha Bee impressed as TV Current Affairs Show of the Year for the third year in a row. Campy TV Show champ: RuPaul’s Drag Race.

    Awkwafina, the rapper turned breakout star of the hit comedy film Crazy Rich Asians, was crowned GALECA’s “We’re Wilde About You!” Rising Star. Fresh-faced Australian comic Hannah Gadsby, who made a mark with her own well-received Netflix special last year, was named Wilde Wit of the Year.

    Harvey Fierstein was the group’s latest choice for Timeless Star, the group’s career achievement award. Previous recipients include Jane Fonda, Dame Angela Lansbury and Sir Ian McKellen.

    Jameela Jamil called out a cosmetic company and they actually listened

    The Good Place star called out cosmetics company Avon for a “gross abuse of the body positive movement” and they listened and apologised.

    Well known for her campaigning on body positivity issues, Jameela Jamil recently took cosmetic giant Avon to task over what she called “gross abuse” with some of their advertising.

    Jameela was criticising the Avon #NakedProof campaign which focussed on cellulite on women’s thighs. One of the main images had the caption, “dimples are cute on your face, not on your thighs”.

    Railing against the campaign, Jameela wrote, “And yet EVERYONE has dimples on their thighs, I do, you do, and the CLOWNS at @Avon_UK certainly do.

    She then called upon the cosmetics giant to “Stop shaming women about age, gravity and cellulite” adding, “they’re inevitable, completely normal things. To make us fear them and try to “fix” them, is to literally set us up for failure”

    She said that Avon, or indeed any other publication should be ashamed to run this sort of “abusive advertising” adding, “My timeline is full of women saying adverts like these are why they are afraid to be naked in front of lovers, or to wear a swimsuit. You are being robbed of your money and self-esteem.”

    Avon UK wiped their hands clean of the campaign saying, “Naked Proof is not an Avon UK Campaign and will not be featured in any of our materials.”

    However, AvonInsider, the official account for the US arm of the company did eventually come back to star saying it had “missed the mark” with its messaging, saying, “We have removed this messaging from all future marketing materials. We fully support our community in loving their bodies and feel confident in their own skin.”

    The actor, thanked the company, calling their reply “progress” before saying, “But also @AvonInsider please don’t promote a brand that markets itself as “Naked Proof” again. None of us need to be told that anything should stop us from feeling good naked.

    “It’s the most natural thing. There is nothing wrong with scars and marks and bumps. We are human.”

    The UNReal TV star, Jeffery Bowyer-Chapman likes to read… in the buff and we’re totally okay with that fact.

    Well read and as a peachy ass…et. Is there nothing about Jeffery Bowyer-Chapman that isn’t perfect? The TV star took to Instagram to show off his pertness but also to show off his latest read.

    Within hours the star had received over 10,000 likes on his post, which he mentions the name of the engrossing book, The Seat of The Soul as well as a RuPaul Drag Race of which he was recently a guest judge, quote favourite, “Reading is Fundamental”.

    Recently, the star shared with his fans a cute picture of himself and his boyfriend, Andrew as they celebrated three years together.

    Jeffrey is currently starring in the fourth series of the Amazon Prime show, UNReal as a character called Jay. His boyfriend, Andrew Fitzsimons is a celebrity hairstylist and creative director.

    Jeffrey also has an upcoming guest star role in the new series of American Horror Story, Apocalypse and earlier in 2018 he was a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

    An irreverent look at a certain car.

    The Renault Clio 2.

    The 1998 – 2005 Clio in almost all of its guises was a sensational little car. Even now, some 20 years later, they are still fun to drive.

    Nicole and her Papa were onto something with the pretty Clio 1. Clio 2 changed a few things like the fitment of plastic front wings and the use of materials inside to make it lighter and cheaper to repair.

    I’ll grant you that Clio 2 wasn’t as pretty as Clio 1 but then again it was still far better to look at than Clio 3.

    Borne out of Clio 2 was the crazy and short-lived, three litre V6 mid-engined monster using a modified V6 from the Laguna that was a part development engine with Peugeot/Citroën. Two seats and no luggage space in a widened shopping cart from France. Just 2822 road going versions were made.

    So I’m taking the 1.2 16 valve as the Clio 2 to get. It’s not a fireball to drive with just 74bhp but this enables you to be enthusiastic in your approach to where you point Clio 2 at and plough on. It’s still a fun car to drive.

    Admittedly, the clutch on a high mileage car will become heavy and city traffic will kill your left leg. Or it’ll encourage you to take up the gym membership and work on that right leg that in comparison would have become lazy and weak.

    And then there are the mechanical failures that are the Clio 2 Achilles heels. Ignition coils will fail and rocker cover gaskets leak. Simple fixes in the big schemes of things. My niece has one as her first car. I said it would breakdown. It broke down. It was a coil pack.

    Interior trim, made light to save weight, will by now, be rattling around with some, if not all, clips broken. You learn to live with it. What you won’t though is the rattle from the optional sunroof. Opening it usually solves the problem.

    And who could forget the “bonnets up” controversy where the bonnets would flip up at high speed! Lack of maintenance on the bonnet catch was the culprit here. So lubrication once again saves the day.

    So should you buy one? Yes. They are cheap cars, cheap to run, fun to boot around and are still pretty to look at.

    And that is why the Clio is a “good car”

    The last few years has seen the rise of grassroots porn in the adult film industry, with newcomers and porn stars alike taking matters into their own hands and producing/distributing their own content onto the market.

    OnlyFans has been one of the services at the forefront of this grassroots porn revolution and we at THEGAYUK wanted to find out more, so we sat down with grassroots porn creator Troy Turner to find out about his OnlyFans journey.

    Firstly, what made you get into OnlyFans?

    I had always wanted to get into porn but I never had the guts to do it. Plus I had no idea of who to get in touch with to start doing it. Then one day back in 2017 I got approached by a photographer to do a shoot with him, I took up the offer and it all started from that. So I got involved with OnlyFans as a way of having a closer connection to my emerging fan base. It makes it so much easier for them to access my material and get in touch with me for custom content.

    And how did you start to build a fan base?

    It was a difficult but fun process. Porn bloggers are a massive help and so a lot of the time, it’s a matter of networking with them to get your content out there on social media.

    Do you find that it’s easy to maintain your fan base?

    I don’t find it easy but I find it a fun process. In order to maintain an audience, I have to keep producing new material or they would lose interest and it’s safe to say I enjoy making the material!

    Have you branched out into mainstream porn as well?

    I have done in the past and I will be making more in the future, so just keep an eye out but for now, I’ll keep producing my own content as often as I can.

    So obviously having done mainstream porn will help gain you a fan base but do you think it would be possible to make decent money from it without this background?

    I’d say that it’s absolutely possible. When people think of OnlyFans, they only think of the porn side of it but it’s full of a variety of content from singers to artists and so the money you make, really just depends on the quality of your content. Some people are making a fortune from it!

    Why do you think there has been an increase in the number of porn stars heading to OnlyFans?

    A lot of porn stars use sites like OnlyFans to engage with their fan base and keep them entertained. Plus like I said before, some people are making a lot of money from these sites and so it is definitely a viable source of income for the more famous stars.

    Speaking of entertaining your fans, what’s the most outrageous thing you’ve done so far for your OnlyFans page?

    Well, I’m a firm believer in getting enough protein in my diet. So I decided to unload on a tablespoon and get my protein fix for the day! Well, it is important to get those gains in!

    Finally, what tips would you give to our readers thinking of taking the leap in creating their own Only Fans page?

    As I said earlier, OnlyFans is not just for porn and you can use it for whatever you want. If you are wanting to make some grassroots porn though, my best tip is to keep your fans entertained at all times.
