  • Which film star just landed a desk job?

Do our eyes deceive us? This legit film and TV star now looks as though he’s chained to a desk job just like us mere mortals.

Cake Wars and Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett looks like he’s been chained to a call centre desk, but perhaps all is not as it seems. Apparently the heartthrob has joined the entertainment team at KTLA 5 newsroom for the day. But fear not his pretty face won’t be sitting behind the desk as he’s actually the host for entertainment, taking over the usual guy Sam Rubin. So Jonathan will be breaking celeb news all day.

    Seems pretty meta to us!

You would have though that a star would have his own office, but apparently not.

Speaking to his fans on Instagram he said,

Hey Los Angeles! I’m in the @ktla5news @ktla_entertainment room getting ready to take over today for@samontv i miss him but his desk is really nice!!!! #host

    The price is not right.

Gossip king Perez Hilton has an announcement about appearing on 2017’s Celebrity Big Brother – and that’s the price wasn’t right. In his latest podcast, Perez reveals that he was asked by Big Brother execs to take part in the latest “all stars” version of the show but when it came to his fee, the producers of the hit Channel 5 show, refused to meet his demand of “double” the fee he received in 2015.

The reality star revealed that he was the most talked about celebrity in the history of the show and helped make the series, which also starred Michelle Visage and Katie Hopkins, to be one of the most successful in the show’s history. His most talked moments were his dramatic fall out with Michelle Visage about her being a spokesperson for the LGBT community and calling Katie Hopkins a c**t.

Speaking with Chris Booker on the podcast, Perez Hilton said, “I’m worth it…” when he talked about wanting to take home double the fee from his last appearance. He also revealed that the experience was “traumatic” and that the money had to be worth the heartache. He also said that he had left the “door open” to Channel 5 execs for future all-stars series if the price was right. But only if the price was right.

Meanwhile, transgender star Lauren Harries revealed to THEGAYUK.com that she could be entering the house sharing, ““Looking forward to seeing some interesting people at Elstree on the 2nd of January”.

The new series begins on Channel 5 on the January 2017.

Ah, the beach. The sunshine, The sea, The sand between your crack.

Oh, summer where for art thou?

Meet Claude (not his real name) he’s happily taking in the gorgeous sunny rays in Ibiza. Sunning his perfectly formed peaks. not a care in the world. us, well we’re knee deep in shopping mall Santa elves, crying children and harangued looking fathers, helplessly, aimlessly walking (it’s like a scene from the Walking Dead) round Primark (we don’t go in, we look, noses pressed against the plate-glass window). He’s looking in desperation for the last box of press on nails for Chelsea. a suitably shi**y end to 2016.

    Ooh happier times.

  • Okay… Danny Dyer’s package is MASSIVE

Okay… Danny Dyer’s package is MASSIVE

We don’t know exactly what Danny Dyer has stuffed down his trousers but it’s MASSIVE.

    BBC/Kieron McCarron

EastEnder’s actor Danny Dyer has sort of made our eyes water a bit after he revealed a ridiculously huge bulge in the latest promo from the show and it’s certainly made us wonder in awe at what is going on with little (not so) little Mr Dyer.

In the scene, Danny’s character Mick interrupts his wife Linda and Sharon’s conversation to say that his trousers were too tight, giving both women an eyeful, Sharon pipes up “so the rumours are true!”

Alexander Gustavo’s fiancé speaks out after his death

We reported yesterday that adult star Alexander Gustavo’s died yesterday after a self-inflicted gunshot. His fiancé has spoken out about being “broken” after learning that he died.

    CREDIT: Alexander Gustavo / Twitter

Bisexual adult star, Alexander Gustavo, 31,  was found dead, after an apparent self-inflicted gun-shot wound to the head. His fiancé, whom he was supposed to be married to this month, has spoken to Str8UpGayPorn to speak about the relationship Alexander had with her son and how broken they both after his death. She said that although most people only knew him as a porn star, she “knew him as much more”.

    In a statement she wrote,

Alexander Gustavo was 31. He was a loving father to our son, and he considered him his own. They had an unconditional love and my son is broken, and he misses his daddy dearly. He was loved by many and will always continue to be loved by everyone, and will be missed by all those lives he touched. I know I will never be able to replace the bond we had and will always have. Forever will he be in my heart.

I wish all this were a dream. He was awesome at what he did for a living, and many loved his work, including myself. After a hard day of filming he would like to play craps at Texas casino to unwind, then come home and take a shower with me and sleep. He was a natural, and he loved what he did.

Most people just knew him as a well known porn star, but I knew him as much more. I’m beyond broken that we will not be getting married this month; he was who I wanted to spend my life with. His laugh and smile and corny jokes is what people mostly know. He always made sure he came home to tuck my son in at night, watch a movie, and snuggle me to sleep.

Just, sadly, this time he had not made his way home. One day I will see him again, and I can’t wait for that day.

  • 17 signs that you are totally over your job

17 signs that you are totally over your job

Hate work… You’ll probably recognise these signs then…

You arrive exactly at shift start and leave exactly at shift end.

Time was when you arrived 15 minutes early and left way after the end of your shift. Now you’re like “nah”.

Emails and calls are not read after 5:00 PM.

That shiz can be left for another day. I don’t care if a report needs to be handed in at 9 AM tomorrow morning. It’ll have to wait until 9:15 AM when I’m in, at my desk and drinking my first cup of coffee.

You don’t bother to put on your OOO…

I’m outta here. Not spending another minute working out technical stuff.

You do put on your OOO but direct people to someone who is also OOO.

Annoying right? This is my life.

You give co-workers evils. Even when they are looking at you.

I hate you. Even your breathing offends me.

Work socials are out of the question.

Why oh why would I spend another minute with you people.

Time goes by so slowly… especially when your boss asks you to do something…

    Tick tock.

You know how to just get by without being fired.

Imma gonna do just the least I can do…

You spend most of the day on Expedia planning the dream holiday.

One way trips are looking mighty enticing

Your mutual hatred of your boss keeps you in close company with other rebels at your work.

You’re living on hate and the tank is full.

You’ve stopped being polite at meetings.

I mean what’s the point. You’re all going to ignore each other anyway.

Cutting corners is the cornerstone of your work ethic.

It saves time and heartache and who really cares anyway?

Your job has basically become searching for other jobs.

CVs written and rewritten and being sent as I type…

Redundancy has become your main career goal.

    Please, please please.

You watch Apprentice and dream oh you dream…

Basically, I could do better and Lord Sugar looks like an easy boss compared to mine.

Dressing for success is a made up 90’s fallacy that you no longer adhere to.

Really Sarah Jessica Parker and Sex And The City can both go screw themselves with their impossible goals.

Office politics and drama is all you live for now.

    and fight…

  • Oxford student union denies “Ze” pronoun story

A statement released by the Oxford University students’ union has denied it instructed students to use “ze” pronouns.

An Oxford University student representative has denied that the university requires people to use the “ze” pronoun after The Times reported that a leaflet was distributed to students suggesting that they should look to use non-gendered pronouns.

A statement released by Jo Gregory-Brough stated that the information published was incorrect and that a leaflet had not been produced implying that all students must use “ze”.

    Gregory-Brough said,

“As far as we’re aware, the information which has been published is incorrect. We have not produced a leaflet implying that all students must use ‘ze’ pronouns to refer to others, or indeed to themselves.”

However, the statement does suggest that there are other resources that are used by student leaders and welfare representatives, which,

“…alongside other information and tips, reminds individuals of the importance of not assuming the pronouns of their peers while also aiming to normalise stating pronouns in introductions.”

Jo Gregory-Brough outlined support for the trans community at the university by stating,

“We would also like to clearly state that we would never tell anyone to use ‘ze’ pronouns instead of ‘he’ or ‘she’ if ‘he’ or ‘she’ is the pronoun someone wishes to use. That would be misgendering and would likely have the biggest impact on individuals (ie, some trans students) who may already be struggling to get people to use ‘he’ or ‘she’ for them. It would be totally counterproductive.

Some critics have slammed the practice of adding pronouns to an introduction as a form of outing and forcing people to acknowledge their gender or sexual identity before they are ready to do so or enforcing a label upon themselves which may not feel comfortable.

The use of pronoun confirmation is “standard practice” according to Gregory-Brough who said it was “disappointing” that the media storm surrounding the story beset the union’s efforts to “ensure our trans students feel welcome within the Oxford community.”

  • Can you find the hidden shopping voucher?

Can you find the hidden shopping voucher?

Finding ways to save money isn’t always easy – but it’s even trickier in the newest brainteaser to leave the internet scratching its head.

Half of Brits admit they will be counting the pennies this Christmas – with a quarter relying on voucher websites to make their money go further.

WANT TO SEE THE ANSWER? Click here

In this puzzle by voucher marketplace, Zeek.me, there’s a discount voucher hidden among the baubles and tinsel in this Christmas tree – can you find it?

A spokesman for Zeek.me, which allows users to buy and sell gift cards and vouchers at a discounted rate, said,

“We all know how difficult it is to make your money go further at this time of year but we reckon this puzzle is no walk in the park either.”

The average Brit will spend £438 this Christmas according to research commissioned by the voucher marketplace.

The poll of 2,000 UK adults found an average of £185 of our overall spend will go on gifts, while £99 will go on socialising and £39 will be spent on booze.

To make their money go further over the holidays, a third of respondents said they will cut back on dining out and one in ten said they have stopped having their daily coffee on the way to work.

A fifth of people admit they are planning to re-gift presents this year and 19 percent bought many of their gifts during the January sales earlier this year.

Daniel Zelkind, CEO of Zeek.me, said,

“A quarter of Brits feel Christmas is more expensive than ever.

“Luckily there are easier ways to save money and we have thousands of discounted vouchers selling at between five and 25 percent below their market value.

“These can be used against some of our biggest festive purchases, from Christmas decorations to food, delivering savings that can help at a time when every penny counts.”
