    What does the F In LGBTF Stand For

    The F in the LGBTF initialism stands for “friends” sometimes also known as Allies – although Allies might have a little more activism element to them. Friends are those people who don’t identify as being Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender but want to be supportive of the LGBT rights movement.

    It’s not that common to see LGBTF and is a relatively new addition to the LGBT initialism. There has been criticism of the term with some asserting that friends or allies do not need to have a letter in the LGBT initialism.

    Lady Colin Campbell has left the Celebrity Jungle just days before the final on medical grounds.

    TV has confirmed that the feisty 65-year-old has left the bush on medical grounds although the reasons are being withheld. Her son has tweeted that she “is fine”.

    The unexpected departure has meant that the next public vote has been cancelled and viewers are being urged to claim back any money they have spent in voting.

    She left just hours after Chris Eubank was evicted from the jungle.

    Jennifer Saunders has tweeted that the highly anticipated AB FAB MOVIE is finished.

    Tweeting a picture with her fellow cast mates: Joanna Lumley, June Whitfield and Jane Horrocks, Jennifer Saunders has confirmed that filming for the AB FAB movie is complete.

    Although the film is expected to be released next year, Saunders did add,

    “May be a while before @AbFabMovie is released. We have to cut it up with scissors n lay music over it n glue it and feed it into the computer”
    Jennifer Saunders was recently voted as one of the top gay icons in the UK along with Stephen Fry and Freddie Mercury.

  • Baroness Verma: “It’s great to hear us talk about ending AIDS but the job is far from over.”

    Lords And MPs met today to discuss ending AIDS by 2030 and having an AIDS free generation within 15 years.

    Parliament hosted a roundtable meeting today (World AIDS Day), bringing together a host of Lords MPs and speakers to talk about how to bring about an AIDS free generation by 2030. The talk was hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group On Global Health and HIV/AIDS charity StopAIDS.
    Speaking at the event were MPs Diane Abbott and Chris Freer along with Baroness Masham, Baroness Liz Barker, Baroness Verma and Lord Cashman.

    A packed room heard from three speakers, Alexa, Cristian and Chan Chan who talked about their personal journey with HIV.

    Diane Abbott saluted the bravery of LGBT activists in Uganda, singling out the tremendous work achieved by Icebreakers, a support community in Uganda, for their efforts in the country, where politicians are fiercely homophobic and where HIV/AIDS medication is hard for LGBTs to gain access to.

    Lord Cashman also put forward questions on how to curve the ever-growing numbers of gay and bisexual men who were being diagnosed with HIV in the UK.

    Recent statistics revealed that new infections in gay and bisexual men have risen again – and that record numbers of men who have sex with men are unaware of their statuses.

    Baroness Verma said that she was proud that the UK was “significantly funding the Global fund”, for HIV/AIDS awareness and health campaigns, and added that we will continue to “champion key populations”, but was keen to stress that there was a “long way to go”.
    Addressing the room she said, “It’s great to hear us talk about ending AIDS but the job is far from over.”

    Cutie Randy Harrison has returned to television after 10 years off screen.

    Actor, Randy Harrison has made a return to the small screen after 10 years since his role as Justin Taylor in the hit series Queer As Folk USA. The openly gay Harrison played the loveable twink in QAF USA for five years across five seasons.

    Although Randy has had roles in films such as Gayby and has worked non-stop in theatre this marks his return as a returning character in a major TV drama.

    Harrison has landed a role as Gideon’s boyfriend in the hit series Mr. Robot, which is currently available on Amazon Prime. Gideon is Elliot Alderson’s boss whose company is employed by E Corp to protect it against online hacks and frauds.

    A kiss between two straight celebrities in Brazil has created a social media storm.

    Two of Brazil’s most famous actors kissed to show that there is nothing wrong in showing ‘our affection and love’ and to call out the ‘macho card-carriers, hypocritical and prejudiced’.

    The kiss between Bruno Gagliasso and João Vicente de Castro happened at the GQ Men of The Year Awards 2015.

     

    The picture was posted on Bruno Gagliasso’s Instagram profile has attracted nearly 90,000 likes and over 20,000 comments.

    Brazil has a troubled history with LGBT rights and is the epicentre for the murder of transgender people. In 2014, 113 of the 226 trans people murdered happened in Brazil.

    The death of porn star Dimitri Kane has been ruled a suicide by coroners.

    Gay porn star Dimitri Kane’s death has been ruled a suicide by coroners in the US. Friends have been left completely “shocked” telling South Florida Gay News that the model who had starred in films for Men.com that he seemed happy the night before he took his life.

    They said,

    “He was entirely happy on Saturday evening. Nothing seemed to be wrong.”

    The Broward County Medical Examiner classified the death as a “suicide.”

    Mr Kane’s death was the second death of a young porn star reported last week. Zac Stevens died at the age of 25.

    The openly gay star Brian Friedman has been eliminated from I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

    Brian Friedman the former creative director of X Factor has been eliminated from I’m A Celebrity after failing to secure enough public support becoming the second celebrity to be evicted.

    Last night’s show saw Freidman voted out of the jungle. Speaking to Ant And Dec on his exit he said that he was keeping a date night with Lady C who said that she would take him on a date to China Town in London!

     

    The choreographer admitted he didn’t feel too shocked to be leaving saying that he had been preparing himself to leave all day.

     

    Brian was greated by his fiance, Daniel Brown as he walked away from the I’m A Celebrity compound.
