    Zombie Boy’s management insist death wasn’t suicide

    Earlier this week the model Zombie Boy, who famously appeared in Lady Gaga’s 2011 hit, ‘Born This Way’ died at the age of 32. It was first reported that his death was by suicide, but his family has said that his death was actually accidental.

    He was found dead at his home in Montreal after falling from a balcony at the back of his resident.

    Genest’s manager Karim Leduc told PEOPLE, “For us, the family and close entourage, we feel there’s too many inconsistencies around his death to rule it as a suicide, and for people to jump to conclusions that rapidly was disappointing,

    “The balcony from which he fell on the third floor was a very dangerous balcony,” Leduc added. “Just three weeks ago, I visited that balcony with him and was on it with him smoking a cigarette, as well. It’s a balcony that has very small rails/guards — an emergency/fire escape balcony – and he was leaning his back towards it like sitting on the ledge of the rail, and he fell from his backside onto the floor.”

    There has been speculation that he jumped rather than fell but Leduc said that Genest had left no note and that he “actually made plans for a couple things that week.”

    After the news of his death, Lady Gaga wrote a poignant tribute to Genest on Thursday and stated that he had taken his own life, “The suicide of friend Rick Genest, Zombie Boy is beyond devastating,” she tweeted. “We have to work harder to change the culture, bring Mental Health to the forefront and erase the stigma that we can’t talk about it.”

    “If you’re suffering, call a friend or family today,” she added. “We must save each other.”

  • A restaurant just served something that looks utterly gross to Milo Yiannopoulos

    The Cheesecake Factory allegedly served Milo Yiannopoulos this dish – that doesn’t look like it’s supposed to look like.

    Controversial journalist and speaker, Milo Yiannopoulos shared a photo of food that was served to him in a restaurant in South Miami. The item, which is supposed to be topped with melted white cheddar cheese, looked as though it had actually been spat or ejaculated in. He commented the photo “I was just served this”. He tagged the photo from The Cheesecake Factory in South Miami.

    The item he was served was supposed to be the Grilled Steak Tacos served with black beans and melted white cheddar cheese, according to the Cheesecake Factory.

    The post has been “liked” nearly 13,400 times and attracted thousands of comments. One commenter wrote that Milo should report the outlet to the authorities as it is a felony to tamper with someone’s food. Other users have pushed for Milo to sue the food outlet.

    Another user, savannahskyebruner, who works in the restaurant industry wrote, “As a full time food handler in the restaurant industry, I take pride in my work. Regardless of who I serve, it’s business as usual and always remains professional. This is absolutely vile and that/those employee(s) responsible should be fired”.

    The Cheesecake Factory replied on Instagram saying “Thanks for dining at The Cheesecake Factory. We’re so pleased to hear from our manager that you enjoyed your Grilled Steak Tacos served with black beans and melted white cheddar cheese. Please DM us if you need anything else.”.

    RuPaul is probably now one of the most famous drag queens in the world, all thanks to the show RuPaul’s Drag Race.

    RuPaul Andre Charles‘ rise to fame has taken several decades and although the entertainer had an early brush with fame in the 90s, when he appeared in numerous films, had his own talk show and released his debut single and album, it wasn’t until the juggernaut reality show, RuPaul’s Drag Race that Ru’s star truly rose to astronomical levels of fame.

    RuPaul, is a drag queen, which means (although not always) he is a biological male who wears women’s clothes for entertainment. RuPaul has often asserted that he only dresses as a woman when he’s getting paid.

    So RuPaul is not a transgender or biological woman. RuPaul identifies as a man but has spoken about using both male and female pronouns. In Ru’s autobiography, the entertainer wrote, “You can call me he. You can call me she. You can call me Regis and Kathie Lee; I don’t care! Just as long as you call me.”

    He has, in the past, caused controversy with the trans community and faced a backlash because of a statement in which he said that he “probably’ wouldn’t allow a contestant who had “really transitioned” to take part in Drag Race.

    He later doubled down on his statement on Twitter by saying, “You can take performance-enhancing drugs and still be an athlete, just not in the Olympics.”

    The comment was met with a backlash. RuPaul later apologised on Twitter saying, “Each morning I pray to set aside everything I THINK I know, so I may have an open mind and a new experience. I understand and regret the hurt I have caused. The trans community are heroes of our shared LGBTQ movement. You are my teachers.

    “In the 10 years we’ve been casting Drag Race, the only thing we’ve ever screened for is charisma uniqueness nerve and talent. And that will never change.”

    Yes, RuPaul got married in 2017 to his long-term partner Georges LeBar. Until their marriage, the pair had been together for over 20 years. Georges is a rancher who has a 50-acre ranch estate in Wyoming and South Dakota.

    Speaking about how they met RuPaul said, “I met Georges on the dance floor at Limelight in New York City, the disco,”

    “He was on the dance floor dancing like a manic. I had to go over and say, ‘What are you going through?’”

    “And it’s also because he’s actually 6’7”, so he’s taller than I am — so of course I had to notice him.”

    The acting legend, Sir Ian McKellen who was featured in our Twitter Powerlist for actors, was asked by CNN what he thought of Donald Trump and his legacy of being a TV star. Well, McKellen didn’t hold back and showed, some incredible insight into the President’s controversial use of Twitter.

    Taking aim at the 45th President of the USA, McKellen said, “He’s so illiterate. He displays his inadequacies every time he opens his mouth, I’m afraid. And every time he tweets… Dictators and leaders have taken advantage of the mass media ever since it was available to them. Whether it was the radio, advertising, and now television or film. And he’s the master of the television, you have to grant him that… It seems to me, as an outsider, that what he enjoys most in life is not power, but fame.”


    In the wide-ranging interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, actor Sir Ian McKellen discussed his activism in the LGBT community, his views of President Trump and being named for a knighthood by Margaret Thatcher – one of her last acts as Prime Minister.

    McKellen tells Amanpour how he recalls being in Paris watching Margaret Thatcher’s resignation, when he received a call from Downing Street asking if he would accept a knighthood. After saying he would “think about it”, McKellen tells CNN that Thatcher appeared just moments afterwards, making the offer virtually one of her last acts as leader of the country.

    Having previously backed anti-gay legislation such as Section 28, McKellen tells CNN that the offer of a knighthood was a significant gesture: “The world actually was changing, and [Thatcher] could not control it.”

    McKellen speaks to Amanpour about the importance of coming out, something he did live on radio at the age of 49 in response to a question on Section 28. Now McKellen tours schools and universities to discuss coming out, telling CNN about some of his experiences and the future of LGBT rights.

    Ahead of potentially his final Shakespearean performances in the West End, McKellen addresses comparisons made between President Trump and Richard III, alongside Trump’s use of social media on the world stage.

    TV Presenter Rylan Clark-Neal made a name for himself on the X Factor but he was actually on TV before that.

    The openly gay TV presenter Rylan Clark Neal is most known in the UK for his presenting on This Morning and Big Brother’s Big On The Side, but before that he was a singer on X Factor and before that he was on a show called Signed By Katie Price.

    Singing Ambition

    After he appeared on Signed By Katie Price he was contacted by multi-platinum songwriter and producer Jake Hook, who invited him to record a single. The pair worked on a song called ‘Slave To The Beat’ with a view to release it to the UK market. Shortly after they worked together, Rylan auditioned for the X Factor and secured a place on the 9th series, where he placed sixth overall.

    After X Factor, Rylan went on to star and win the 11th series of Celebrity Big Brother – for which he then became the presenter for its side-kick show, Big Brother’s Bit On The Side a show that he’s now fronted since 2013.

    Rylan started to date Big Brother alumn and former policeman, Dan Neal, who appeared in the 14th series of Big Brother. Dan was evicted on day 44 of the series.

    Dan popped the question of marriage to Rylan when they were on a romantic getaway in Paris. Since they’ve been together, Rylan has made it clear that he wants children, but so far the patter of tiny feet eludes the celebrity pair, although Dan has a son from a previous relationship.

    Rylan and Dan got engaged in 2014 and finally married in 2015, Rylan’s surname changed to reflect the marriage, from Rylan Clark to Rylan Clark-Neal. Dan also changed his surname to add in Clark.

    This is what happens when you bitch about someone on social media and then invite them on to your talk show for a chat. As this awkward clip shows, you don’t want to start on Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro, who made a name for themselves on X Factor a couple of years ago as the duo Bratavio.

    Big Brother star, “Mr Showbiz” real name Simon Gross invited the duo on to his web chat show, when the subject of alleged historic tweets was raised. Well, Bratavio went to town over a hateful tweet in which Simon supposedly called them “talentless”.

    In an Instagram post which Bradley described as, “When you confront someone who slags you off online,” Mr Showbiz gets a grilling with the pair eventually walking out on the interview.

    It’s possibly the most awkward interview moment of 2018.

    When Simon said, “you’re on my show!” Ottavio comes back with “You were begging us to come on your show, you begged”

    There are nipple piercings and then there’s this.

    Terry Miller (Dan Savage’s husband) has revealed two rather interesting, but painful looking additions to his nipples. Posing in a topless photo on Instagram the model (and basically real-life Tom Of Finland) showed off two rather huge piercing that look like two huge screws.

    Don’t fret though, Terry himself told his fans, “I don’t have crazy piercings. These are magnet nipple clamps. Just sayin’ boys”

    The look was widely praised by his fans with one even commenting that “fashion was invented in 2018” by Terry another commented how the piercings looked “insane” but were “really sexy”.

    Chris and Kem have their own show on ITV – but their bromance have got people asking are they actually boyfriends?

    Chris and Kem were the breakout characters from 2017’s Love Island. Their friendly banter and cheeky bromance captured the UK’s hearts. Their full names are Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay. That relationship has led to them filming their very own show, which is called You Vs. Chris and Kem.

    So are Chris and Kem actually a gay couple? The answer is no. They both identify as straight but clearly have no issue with being very close and personal with each other, which lets face in 2018 is a lovely thing to see.

    Chris Hughes particularly caught the public attention when producers of Love Island had to allegedly ship out “extra large condoms” for the villa mate. He wasn’t shy about his size – and was quite often seen walking around the Love Island villa completely starkers.

    Their new show starts on ITV 2 on 16th July at 10 PM.

     

     

  • Two gay men appear in BBC top paid talent, no other LGBT representation

    BBC has released its top earners and two gay men are featured in the top 10. The top-earning lesbian doesn’t feature.

    The BBC’s gender pay gap has been released and shows that the top 12 earners are all still men, with Graham Norton (up to £609,000) and Nick Grimshaw (up to £409,000) featuring in the top 10. Further down the list of the top 22 earners include two other openly gay men, Scott Mills (up to £289,000) and Evan Davis (up to £259,000)

    There are no out women or trans people in the top 20. The highest paid LGB woman is Clare Balding who is now reported to be earing up to £189,000. Last year the BBC reported that she was earning up between £150,000 and £199,000.

    The list released by the BBC features talent and staff who are paid directly by the BBC and earn over £150,000.

    Norton’s wage was reduced from up to £899,000 in this new list, while Nick Grimshaw’s wage has actually increased from up to £399,000.

    Last year the BBC used multiples of £50,000 to denote its staff’s salary rather than give accurate figures, this year that has been deceased to multiples of £10,000.

  • People are calling out Louis Walsh for grabbing Mel B’s bum

    People on Twitter are calling out Louis Walsh after patting her bum live on national TV.

    The clip, which has surfaced on Twitter was taken from an X Factor roundup show a few years ago and shows judge, Louis Walsh patting the former Spice Girl’s behind. The clip has been watched over 4.5 million times on the social platform.

    After Mel B calls out Walsh on why he is touching her inappropriately, Simon Cowell is seen joking to Mel,  “you’re safe” which some have found to be problematic. Louis says he was doing it to “look after” the star.

    “Why are you grabbing my butt”

    During the interview, Walsh can be seen tapping the singer’s butt while Mel B starts to look uncomfortable and looks off-screen before confronting Walsh. She then stops the interview, mid-flow and asks Walsh directly, “Why are you grabbing my butt?”.

    Walsh replies, “I’m looking after Mel.”

    Simon Cowell, whose company Syco owns the format for the show, jokes, “honestly you’re safe”.

    After Mel calls Walsh out, she physically moves herself away from Louis, before the interview continues.

    People are now calling on TV execs to remove him from TV shows and for Walsh to apologise for his actions. Unrelated, it was announced that Louis Walsh would not be returning to judge The X Factor for this year’s show.

    Many people have assumed that Walsh is gay, but in 2013 in an interview with the Sunday Times, when asked whether he was gay or straight he replied, “I can’t… Don’t go there. I can’t. I think your private life is your private life…I’m happy. Happy as Larry!”

    He’s never been married and has never publicly acknowledged anyone as a partner, however, he was spotted by one of our showbiz insiders at the Balans restaurant in South Beach, Florida, accompanied by a lovely looking tall dark and handsome type a few years back.

    Well, how else would one the world’s greatest gay icons make her way onto set.

    For those of you who don’t know yet, CHER is in the new Mamma Mia movie and she’s singing the ABBA hit ‘Fernando’ and she’s playing Meryl Streep’s mother – despite being only three years older. I mean, how do we contain our gay-selves.

    And we’re not the only ones in an excited mess. Benny Anderson from ABBA said, “So all of a sudden you have Cher and ABBA together, it’s exciting I think!”
