Key West

Welcome to Gay Key West

Key West is by far the most friendly for gay travellers of the islands that make up the Florida Keys. It’s also the last island on the stretch of road that links them all. There’s a great gay scene and a few men only / gay hotels and resorts to choose from.

Key West also is famous for unveiling the world’s largest Pride flag, created by Gilbert Baker. It was revealed on Duval Street in 2003.

The majority of gay/ LGBT+ bars and venues are based on Duval Street. The street itself runs from on side of the Island to the other and is approx 1 and a quarter miles long. Intersecting with Duval you’ll find Flemming Street which has two gay guest houses, The Equator Resort and Island House.
