Wigs at the ready, the Supreme Fabulettes are back…
Undoubtedly the most talented queens in the UK, the Supreme Fabulettes sizzle sassily with a range of amazing costumes, four part harmonies and shade that puts most of Ru’s girls under a giant palm tree.
Filled to the brim with hit after hit, from Adele To Tina, Whitney to the Supremes, the ladies, Miss Vicki Vivacious, Miss Portia De Fosse, Miss Silver Summers and Miss Vanilla Lush are born to perform.
Amidst the hairspray, the costume changes and the wigs, Sheila Simmonds, the razor tongued, home shopping diva, Australian manager of the Supreme Fabulettes, has the audience eating Werther’s Originals out of her palm and is the perfect vehicle to move the story along.
Her daughter played by Sam Buttery (The Voice) doesn’t quite hit the mark with the audience as a character, but shines with his trademark powerhouse vocals withSigned, Sealed, Delivered.
Hit: When Silver Summers sings a mash up of Diamonds Are Forever, Rhianna’s Diamonds and Diamonds Are Girl’s Best Friend, a star is born before our eyes.
Miss: The finalé… There are better ways to end a show than on a song that reminds us of Muller Light.
The Supreme Fabulettes’ London summer dates are Thursday 16 – Saturday 18 July, Friday 31 July & Saturday 1 August, Friday 7 & Saturday 8 August, Friday 14 & Saturday 15 August, Friday 21 & Saturday 22 August, Friday 28 & Saturday 29 August.
