Russell Tovey, Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, Harvey Fierstein and many more stars have given their reaction to the death of comic legend, Robin Williams.

Actor Russell Tovey, took to Instagram to post a picture of William’s in Dead Poets Society, with the caption, ‘O captain! My captain! A hero has left the building… RIP Robin Williams’
Robin Williams was found dead in his Californian home on Monday 11th August, and died after an apparent suicide. It has left many of his showbiz friends in shock and mourning.

Ellen DeGenres who had welcomed Williams’ on to her show many times over the years, tweeted, ‘He gave so much to so many people,’ she tweeted. ‘ I’m heartbroken.’

Neil Patrick Harris said, ‘I am stunned and just reeling from the news of Robin Williams’ death. He brought so much joy and heart to millions… Just, wow.’

Many of those who starred alongside Williams paid tribute too, Harvey Fierstein, who starred as Williams’s brother in the hit comedy, Mrs. Doubtfire said, ‘Robin was friend, boss, brother, inspiration… His generosity & intelligence knew no limits. Only his home planet could destroy him,’

‘Favorite moment with Robin: Flying on private jet role playing. I was Charo and he was Cugat’s chiuahuha. Oh, how we laughed.’
