  • Tila Tequila Removed From The House Over Social Media Comments

Myspace celebrity Tila Tequila has been removed from the Big Brother house after comments that she released on social media made her position in the house “untenable”

A spokesperson for Channel 5 said,

“Unfortunately, Channel 5 and Endemol did not know about the views and attitudes Tila had expressed in social media postings prior to her involvement in Celebrity Big Brother.

When they were brought to our attention, she was called to the Diary Room for a discussion with producers and was subsequently removed from the house.

The views Tila had expressed, and permitted to remain uncorrected, are totally unacceptable and, accordingly, her continued involvement in the programme was untenable.”

In December 2013 Tila had her Facebook account closed because of a “pro-Hitler” article called “Why I Sympathize with Hitler: Part I”.

The MySpace star argued that her article was not anti-Semitic, and was instead a tribute to “a man who was not a coward, [but] stood up for his country in a DESPERATE TIME OF NEED”.

She posted comments and a picture of herself in a Nazi costume in front of a picture of Auschwitz. Her page has been re-instated, and she has over 2 million likes.

  • CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER HOUSE: 12 Details Not To Miss

CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER HOUSE: 12 Details Not To Miss

The house, the house… it’s all a bit of a designer’s paradise. So here’s some lovely little details we loved about the new Big Brother house…

The designers have gone to town on the Americana and Britishness of this year’s house design. We take a look at our favourite parts.

It’s all Red white and blue, I mean of course we share a common language, but we also share the same flag colours – which is handy… It’s always nice to share a colour palette.

    1) Lounge

    (C)THEGAYUK

The centre of the house is the lounge complete with circular sofa – on one side the theme is US the other is UK. Is that sneaky Big Bro trying to cause a divide by suggestion?

    2) Kitchen

    (C)THEGAYUK

The milkshakes are fake. Sorry but they are. Plastic. Like any of the celebs perhaps???

    3) Diary Room

    (C)THEGAYUK

The Big Brother chair is huge and the room is actually massive

    4) Toilet

    (C)THEGAYUK

Just a bog standard bog. Totally boring.

    5) Bathroom

    (C)THEGAYUK

Nope this is not a UFO it’s a sink

    6) Lighting

    (C)THEGAYUK

Top and bowler hats light the way for the celebrities

    7) Exit

    (C)THEGAYUK

There’s an emergency exit… You know just in case a celeb needs to run for the hills.

    8) Plugs

    (C)THEGAYUK

God knows why, but there are plugs… The celebs can’t bring anything into the house that needs a plug, but there are plugs. Can you spot them?

    9) Vanity Area

    (C) THEGAYUK

Big Brother has provided hairdryers and hair straighteners. That’s where we’d be spending most of our time.

    10) Closet

    (C)THEGAYUK

    There’s lots of closet room.

    11) Comfort

    (C)THEGAYUK

There’s a little bit of fluffy carpet, other than that it’s all pretty hard surfaces.

    12) Pool

    (C)THEGAYUK

It may look inviting, but the pool is only just warm. But just like a service station coffee, you wouldn’t want to go swimming in it.

  • Celebrity Big Bro House Gets A US Vs UK Make Over

The brand new Celebrity Big Brother has been revealed and it’s distinctively Red, White And Blue as Big Brother smashes the UK and USA together.

As these pictures show Celebrity Big Brother has gone all Red, White and Blue, underpinned with quintessential British accents and lots of Americana thrown in for good measure.

Although Rylan has kept tight-lipped about who exactly is due to appear in the house when the new series starts next week, he did say he was much happier to be a spectator rather than participating.

    The statement reads:

“Aaron seems drunk and is flashing Joel and being rowdy, often naked.

Despite Joel’s continual requests for him to behave himself, Aaron continues to tease and flash to the amusement of some of the other Housemates.

As a result of his actions, Aaron is ejected from the Big Brother House.”

Earlier in the series, Joel did admit feelings for Aaron, saying that he could make out with Aaron. However, Joel, 19, has maintained that he is “proudly heterosexual.”

When Emma asked what he was hoping for in the Big Brother house, he answered: “The man of my dreams”, before adding he was very nervous about walking down Big Brother’s world famous runway and thought he might poop himself.

Emma reminded him that they didn’t have a poop scoop on set.

  • Alexander O’Neal leaves Big Brother

After all the drama, Alexander O’Neal has left the building.

In a statement from the Big Brother producers, Alexander O’Neal has chosen to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House, after yesterday’s fall out with Perez Hilton. The Criticise singer called the openly gay celebrity blogger a “Silly Ass Faggot”.

It has not been confirmed why the singer has left, however, yesterday producers at the show gave O’Neal an official warning after using the slur.

In the diary room, Alexander told Big Brother that he didn’t feel comfortable in any corner of the House. Big Brother then issued Alexander with a formal warning because of his unacceptable language towards Perez. Alexander apologised for his actions.

Earlier on in the day Perez had been antagonising “Criticise” hit maker, Alexander O’Neal by staring and blowing kisses at him. When Alexander leaves to go to the lounge, Perez follows and sits silently. Eventually, this causes Alexander to tell Perez, “I know what you want but you’re not going to get it…You’re going to sit there with that silly ass fa**ot look on your face”

Speaking to Big Brother Perez told Big Brother that he needed to speak with his lawyer and initially refused to sit in the Diary Room chair. He went on to say that two Housemates have threatened him, and questions whether Alexander can control his emotions. Perez then started crying and said, “I have tried with every ounce of my being to be a professional here” Big Brother reassures Perez that his welfare is a top priority.

  • UK Version Of Drag Race Not Coming To Channel 5

While hopes were running high that Drag Race UK could be coming to Channel 5, we’ve got bad news.

A spokesperson for the Channel put a dampener on the rumours that Drag Race UK was coming to Channel 5 saying, “There are no discussions around a UK version of the show”, after The Race Family Facebook page said that they were expecting to reveal more information within the next two weeks.

But is that a light at the end of the tunnel? – “no discussions about a UK version”. Does this mean that they’ll broadcast the US version – taking the crown away from the current home of Drag Race, Netflix.

At the moment the US drag reality show is only available to view on Netflix, to which only a small proportion of the UK are signed up to.

In a recent poll by THEGAYUK found that the Drag Race franchise was voted the most popular gay TV format, beating Queer As Folk, Looking, The L Word and Dante’s Cove.

  • Drag Race To Come To The UK?

The gayverse is all of a buzz after sources said that RuPaul’s drag race could be coming to Channel 5 later this year.

Last year it was reported that Jonathan Ross had obtained the rights to develop a UK version of the hit drag show in the US. Jonathan previously said, “I’ve been working with Jodie on a UK version [of the show]… Unfortunately, we have had to take a break because of some family issues. But we’re hoping to pick it up again in the near future.”

Last month we spoke to La Voix who said that she’d jump at the chance to star in the UK series. La Voix became one of the UK’s most famous drag queens after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014.

Michelle Visage, who is a judge on Drag Race is currently starring in Celebrity Big Brother which is being aired on Channel 5.

The Race Family page said that they were expecting to reveal more information within the next two weeks. We reached out to Channel 5 for comment on the show, a spokesperson for the channel said, “There are no discussions around a UK version of the show”.

  • Autopsy show about Whitney Houston on Channel 5 tonight

Channel 5 will broadcast a programme tonight on the autopsy of Gay Icon Whitney Houston to discover the reasons for the diva’s death.

This episode features Whitney Houston, a singer and actress with a once-in-a-generation voice that propelled her into the pop stratosphere. No amount of talent, however, could protect her from the demons that brought about her death in a Hollywood hotel bathroom at the age of just 48.

The evidence revealed by Houston’s autopsy tells an astonishing story of excess. It reveals in detail the damage done by years of abuse, from liver and heart disease caused by alcohol and smoking to the perforated septum ravaged by repeatedly snorting cocaine. The programme also uncovers the cocktail of drugs that contributed to the star’s death, from prescription medications to marijuana and freebase cocaine.

Most importantly, the evidence offers a unique insight into the final minutes of Houston’s life alone in a bathroom, finally revealing the causes of her death, how she died, and the desperate battle to save her life.
