  • Morrissey Says Airport Security Put Fingers Down His Butt Crack

More details have emerged from a sexual assault Morrissey is alleging happened to him by a member of security staff at San Francisco International Airport.

Last month singer Morrissey described the moment an unnamed TSA agent from San Francisco airport “crouched” before him and “groped” his penis and testicles.

The singer spoke out that he was subjected to “horrific” extra searches even though he had been through the airport’s XRAY scanner.

The details have emerged with the singer alleging that the agent also fingered his “rear cleavage.”

During an appearance on Larry King Now the former Smiths singer talked about the incident, by saying to King,

“Would you like the absolute details? They are horrific. He put his finger down my rear cleavage.”

“I had been through the false scanner and the second bit and everything was fine and clear, but then he [security officer] went straight for my private bits and put his finger down my rear cleavage.

“The people I was with from the special services said, ‘This is assault’, and he said, ‘Well, that’s just your opinion!”

According to TheHill.com TSA officials are looking into the complaint by Morrissey. A TSA Spokesman Mike England said,

“TSA takes all allegations of misconduct seriously and strives to treat every passenger with dignity and respect,

“Upon review of closed circuit TV footage, TSA determined that the supervised officer followed standard operating procedures in the screening of this individual,”

When Morrissey asked the agent why he had touched him inappropriately the agent reportedly said that it was just the singer’s “opinion”, a statement he repeated four times.

  • Artist Turns Caitlyn Trans Hate Into Work Of Art

The artist who turned homophobic hate for Tom Daley into an incredible portrait, has worked his magic again by turning 100 messages of hate and death threats against Caitlyn Jenner into a work of art.

In 2014, Conor Collins took hundreds of homophobic messages about diver Tom Daley from Twitter and created a stunning work of art out of him.

Now he’s turned his attention to Caitlyn Jenner, taking transphobic hate messages that he found online and recreating the now famous Vanity Fair cover of Ms. Jenner.

Speaking to the HuffPo Collins said,

“I admire what Caitlyn has done and how she has used her position and privilege to make a difference,

“So, naturally like anyone curious, I went on her Twitter to see more and was horrified by some of the comments. When I saw these I wanted to show them because it is a reality of what trans people experience every day.”

“Caitlyn is making a difference to the trans community however I didn’t want to hide the darkness and persecution [trans people] face in my art piece,”

In 2014, articles from various news sources suggested that the Manchester based artist had sold the Tom Daley piece, but he rebuffed the suggestions saying,

“Been told there are articles saying ive sold my Tom Daley piece! I’ve not!! It’s not my intention to make money from this piece!”

Collins shared the portrait of Caitlyn Jenner on Twitter and it was retweeted 2,800 times and favourited 5,600 times.
  • Liam Payne “Not Homophobic” In Any “Shape or Form”

Boy-bander Liam Payne has addressed concerns that he his homophobic after comments he made at a concert

One Direction’s Liam Payne, has once again been forced to address concerns that he is homophobic. In a Twitter statement he said,

“I am in no way shape or form homophobic that’s a ridicules (sic) thing to say and I’m not here to offend people so take it as you will,”

The singer was making an introduction to the song Girl Almighty, which apparently appeared to be a little too heteronormative, seemingly suggesting that perhaps only gay men were in the audience, and sparked a fierce online debate on whether what he said was anti-gay.

    On stage he said,

“This is my favourite song off the last album, and it is about trying to find that number one woman of your life, which none of you can relate to, ’cause most of you are girls. Except for the boys in here, you know what I’m talking about,”

Clearly annoyed by the possibility of being called homophobic Payne went on to say in his Twitter post,

“So annoying trying your hardest to make people happy in a show and you think about all the notes u tried to hit higher or a little sweeter

“And all some people want to concentrate on was a throw away statement about a song that I love (sic)’

Last year Payne was accused of homophobia after tweeting his support of the Duck Dynasty family and their “family values.”

In September the One Director star strongly denied that a “weird” video showing two men having sex was not of him and another man.

    He said,

”I’m 100% not homophobic, but I’m also 100% not gay so when somebody says I am I’m gunna say I’m not which does not make me a homophobe.’

  • Dolce Apologises For Offensive IVF Remarks

“I’ve realised my words were inappropriate, and I apologise,” Domenico Dolce finally apologises for the words that saw Dolce & Gabbana at the centre of a Twitter storm and boycott, led by Sir Elton John.

Speaking in Vogue, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said sorry for a statement that saw thousands of people take to Twitter demanding an apology and threats of a boycott against the billionaire designers.

Peter Tatchell led a boycott protest outside the London flagship store.

In March, in an interview with Panaroma magazine Dolce said,

“We oppose gay adoptions. I call children of chemistry synthetic children. The only family is the traditional one… No chemical offsprings and rented uterus; Life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.”

The comment resulted in Elton John leading a boycott against the fashion brand and a Twitter storm and trending topic that lasted days.

In September’s issue of Vogue, Dolce had a U-turn saying,

‘I’ve done some soul-searching, I’ve talked to Stefano a lot about this. I’ve realised that my words were inappropriate, and I apologise.”

Speaking specifically about IVF treatment he added,

“I think everybody chooses for themselves. I don’t know everything about IVF, but I love it when people are happy. It’s like medicine. Science has been put on the table to help people.”

  • One Day, Two Sports Stars Come Out As Gay

Today might go down in history as “gay sports day” as two sports stars came out as gay.

In the UK, Rugby player, Keegan Hirst, 27, came out exclusively to the Sunday Mirror, whilst over the US baseball rookie David Denson, 20, came out. Both are the first in their respective sports to have come out as gay during their careers.

Benson, who plays for the Helena Brewers revealed:

“Talking with my teammates, they gave me the confidence I needed, coming out to them,” Denson told the newspaper. “They said, ‘You’re still our teammate. You’re still our brother. We kind of had an idea, but your sexuality has nothing to do with your ability. You’re still a ballplayer at the end of the day. We don’t treat you any different. We’ve got your back.’

“That was a giant relief for me. I never wanted to feel like I was forcing it on them. It just happened. The outcome was amazing. It was nice to know my teammates see me for who I am, not my sexuality.”

Hirst becomes the first British rugby player to come out as gay during his career. The 27-year-old, who told his wife just weeks ago he was gay, said,

“At first I couldn’t even say ‘I’m gay’ in my head, let alone out loud.

“Now I feel like I’m letting out a long breath that I’ve held in for a long time.”

Remarking on Hirst’s decision to come out as gay LGBT advocacy charity, Stonewall said his words were “powerful” and that his words “will inspire many”.

Former Rugby icon Gareth Thomas tweeted his support for Hirst saying,

Taking to Twitter Hirst said he was “humbled” by the best wishes and he “appreciated” the outpouring of support shown by players and fans of the club.

  • Welsh Lib Dems Launch LGBT+ Rights Campaign

The Welsh Liberal Democrats are launching their campaign promoting the benefits of the Human Rights Act in advancing LGBT+ rights.

At Saturday’s Pride Cymru, Wales’ biggest LGBT pride event, the party will be campaigning against plans by the Conservatives to scrap the Human Rights Act – plans which were blocked by the Liberal Democrats as part of the Coalition Government.

The Human Rights Act has forced the UK Government to introduce the Gender Recognition Act, found the unequal age of consent for same-sex relationships to be illegal in 1997, and forced the Government to allow LGBT+ people to serve openly in the armed forces in 1999.

Liberal Democrats have a strong record of defending LGBT+ rights in Wales, the UK and across the world. Most recently, the Welsh Lib Dems have led the charge to improve public services for trans people in Wales and establish a Welsh Gender Identity Clinic.

Kirsty Williams AM, Leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats, said:

“LGBT+ rights are human rights – it couldn’t get any simpler. The rights of any person of any sexuality or gender – to free speech, to protection from discrimination, to life itself – are exactly the same as anyone else’s. That’s why Liberal Democrats fight to protect them.

“Human rights laws have been vital in protecting LGBT+ people from discrimination by the law. Without them we could still have an unequal age of consent for same-sex relationships, trans people would not be allowed to change their legal sex, and LGBT+ people would be unable to serve openly in the armed forces.

“The Human Rights Act has made positive change happen for our country’s LGBT+ community. That’s why I’m so appalled at Tory plans to scrap these laws and do away with these protections. Liberal Democrats blocked them within Government, and we’ll carry on fighting them now.

“As many people as possible need to oppose these proposals. That’s why we’re launching our campaign today at www.welshlibdems.wales/lgbt, and I urge everyone to back our calls.”

  • Homophobe Calls Himself Batman After Exposing His Penis

A man has been sentenced and fined after exposing himself and using a gay slur.

Nathan McMahon, 27, told police he was Batman after being arrested for exposing himself in a pub in Somerset in April.

The court heard that he drunkenly called the landlord a “gay git” before pulling out his penis and exposing himself in front a customer. He went on to cause damage to plants and a for sale sign, as well as urinating in the street.

    Prosecutor Lucy Coleman said,

“They were both drunk and after being served with a second pint McMahon called the landlord a gay git and then took out his penis and testicles and put them on the bar in front of another customer,”

“The landlord took their drinks away but they continued to swear at him so he pressed his panic button to alert the police and they left.”

McMahon also pleaded guilty to using abusive words and behaviour.

His defendant, Tom Briggs said it was “a drunken night that went terribly wrong”.

“McMahon had a disagreement with the landlord while he was asking for some money for the jukebox and this ended in him being abusive and he left the pub,” he said.

“Then, with aggression inside him, he went outside and he kicked some plants, punched the sign and damaged a gate.”

Manchester based McMahon has been ordered to a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work as well as paying £235 in compensation.

  • Has The Gay Community Got A Problem With Slut Shaming?

“The guy gets all the bump, the more he can score. A girl can do the same, yet you call her a whore” sang Christina Aguilera way back in her early noughties classic, “Can’t Hold Us Down”.

She was singing about something still very relevant today, the fact women are shamed for sleeping with more than one person, while men are celebrated for doing the exact same thing. However, is this a problem in the gay community? YouTube sensation John Bird thinks so as shown in his latest video, ‘Gay Boy Problems – Slut Shaming’.

Within the video, Bird calls out the gay community for the fact that we are, in all actuality, a little bit self-loathing. Why are we so obsessed with what is going on in everyone else’s bed? Why are we so hung up on judging each other whilst we go on about equality and pride?

“There is nothing wrong with having a bit of fun if you are single” the vlogger argues and he has a point, there isn’t! If you can pull, then why not? A marginalised group should know better than to marginalise each other.
