    Celeb deletes his 4 million strong Facebook account for “demonising sexuality”

    Chris “Leave her Alone” Crocker has deleted his Facebook social media profile following on from the news that the social media platform has introduced a raft of puritanical bans on sexual talk.

    Chris Crocker has deleted his Facebook page, which had 4 million people following it, after the news that Facebook had enacted a brand new “sexual solicitation” policy.

    The policy could potentially ban gay, bisexual and transgender users from discussing whether they are top or bottoms on the site as it seeks to ban “sexual hints such as (the) mention of sexual roles, positions or fetish scenarios”.

    “Demonizes sexuality”

    Chris, who is an internet star, turned adult performer took to Twitter to say that despite the fact he had 4 million followers on Facebook, he would no longer “contribute content to a site that demonizes sexuality”.

    Facebook’s community standards say, “Do not post content that engages in implicit sexual solicitation, which can be identified by… using sexual hints such as mentioning sexual roles, sex positions, fetish scenarios, sexual preference/sexual partner preference, state of arousal, act of sexual intercourse or activity (sexual penetration or self-pleasuring), commonly sexualized areas of the body such as the breasts, groin, or buttocks, state of hygiene of genitalia or buttocks.”

    The policy change comes just a day after blogging site Tumblr said it was going to remove all adult content from its site.

    In a separate Twitter post, Chris wrote:

    The internet is becoming Anti-Sex.

    A long list of bans

    Facebook isn’t the first platform to take a stand on sexualised content. Earlier in December,

    Tumblr announced it was purging itself of sexualised content.

    Sex workers have seen files deleted or removed from their Google Drives

    Starbucks said it would be enacted a censorship tool for porn on its in-store WIFI

    Craigslist had its personals shutdown

    Reddit has banned all sex-work groups and

    Escorting sites such as Rentboys.com has been shuttered.

    The reality TV star, Ollie Locke is planning to adopt with his soon-to-be husband, Gareth Locke.

    The former Made In Chelsea and Celebrity Big Brother star, Ollie Locke, has declared that he is planning to adopt a child with his fiancé, Gareth Locke, but not until the “madness of their careers” has died down.

    The couple is still planning their wedding, to be set in Italy in September next year, after announcing their engagement earlier this year.

    The star revealed his plans to the Sunday Times saying, “We might adopt at some point, maybe in 10 or 15 years, once we’re done with the madness of our careers.”

    Before their engagement, it was revealed that the couple has actually known each other for over a decade but only made it their relation romantic earlier in the year.

    During his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Locke, then 29, identified as bisexual and said that he had never slept with a man. However, the star became out as gay in 2016.

    In an exclusive interview with Hello! Magazine, Ollie explained how Gareth popped the marriage question, “We decided to go for a lovely walk with Bear [his dog] in Kensington Park Gardens which is my favourite park and we came across the Peter Pan statue, which is my favourite statue. I walked towards Gareth who was just standing there and he gave me a hug…”

    Gareth continued, “I was 200 yards away and I was thinking ‘I have got to do this now’.”

    You may remember Jakub and David as the Polish LGBT activist and vlogger couple who are trying to change the public’s perceptions of LGBT+ people in Poland. Since their very first video, the duo has faced hideous homophobia as well as death threats including a threat to have their throats slit, in their home country of Poland.

    Against all odds, the couple actually tied the knot last year, although not in their home country, because Poland does not yet offer it’s lesbian and gay couples same-sex marriage.

    To gauge the public’s reaction to two men proposing to each other, Jakub and David took to the streets of Warsaw to propose marriage in front of strangers and filmed their responses.

    They recorded the reactions with hidden cameras and asked unsuspecting members of the public to take part in the experiment, by asking them to film the proposal, without them realising that the proposal would be to another man.

    A spokesperson for the couple, Robert Peszek said, “Surprisingly it turned out that people totally accept them and wished them all the best. They didn’t cut any hates or bad people reactions. It’s absolutely wonderful and enormously uplifting for all LGBT society in Poland what they did.”

    Speaking to Pitchfork Mariah Carey opened up about how George Michael was a massive inspiration to her before her first album was released.

    She also said that artists need a really “great support system” around them as stress is a killer. She said,

    “It’s really about a great support system and working with people who understand and try to create a good environment. Hopefully, those people will also understand stress is really a killer. When we have lost some of our greatest, it’s really taken a toll on me, as someone who grew up watching them and being inspired by them.

    The “Hero” singer went on to say how much of an inspiration George Michael was during her early years saying that the Faith album was her first ever album.

    You mentioned George Michael. I remember before my first album, even in high school, the Faith album, I looked at that and said, ‘I want to make an album that crosses all these genres.’ We had a lot of things in common in terms of record company political stuff.

    How did George Michael die?

    George Michael passed away on Christmas Day 2016. His death shook the world and left millions of fans worldwide reeling from the news. Investigators said that his death was ‘unexplained but not suspicious’. The star died at the age of 53. He was found in his Oxfordshire home by his partner, Fadi Fawaz on Christmas morning. He was found lying, “peacefully in bed”

    The news of the star’s death wasn’t announced to the press until late Christmas evening.

    The superstar’s autopsy was inconclusive and more tests were ordered to determine the cause of his death. There were many reports that drug usage was to blame for the untimely passing, including his cousin who erroneously claimed, on the Victoria Derbyshire show on BBC,  that an accidental drugs overdose caused George’s death.

    In March, the cause of George’s death was revealed following more conclusive testing, the corner returned a death by natural causes verdict.

    International pop star Ricky Martin has been accused of causing offence to Native people and cultures after posing for a picture in which he is wearing a traditional Native American headdress.

    One user on Instagram wrote, “Are you Native? If not, take that headdress off!” While another wrote, “There’s information all over the internet explaining why this is upsetting/offensive to Native people/cultures”

    “Not a costume to wear at a club”

    When a fan tried to suggest that the headdress was a Taino headdress, a user, BellieBunny1 corrected the assumption by saying, “Ricky Martin was raised in Puerto Rico he is not Puerto Rican. He is Spanish Basque and Canarian, and that is not a Taino headdress.

    “Like I said, that is a War Bonnet only to be worn by certain members of the tribe, it is sacred, not a costume to wear at a club or because it’s a carnival. It is earned one feather at a time, so unless Mr. Martin suddenly turned into an important member of one of our Tribes, and earned each one of those feathers on the regalia, he hasn’t the right to wear it as he has not earned it and he is not a part of my culture or heritage.

    “The fact is he is NOT Native American, he is of Spanish, Basque and Canarian heritage and not entitled to wear this War Bonnet, and I AM the daughter of a card carrying Native American / First Nations Elder.

    Not Earned

    BellieBunny1 continue to educate on the matter by saying that each feather in the headdress is actually earned.

    “It is only to be worn by certain members of the tribe, and it was made over time, each feather earned. Ricky Martin is fabulous, but it is not about culture or his to wear, as he did not earn it, and he is not part of the tribe of the people’s who bestow that regalia. Ricky himself said that he is of Spanish, Basque and Canarian heritage, not Native American/ First Nations”

    Another user hit back saying, “I am Puerto Rican myself. We are from Taíno (indigenous), African, and Spanish descent. Native Americans are NOT the only ones with these headdresses. This is normal from our Taínos, and like I said, in the Caribbean, we dress up to pay homage”.

    In recent years the wearing of headdresses for festivals and in particular Halloween has been heavily criticised for cultural appropriation. The wearing of sacred clothing for fun or for show can be seen as deeply offensive to some from the culture from which the costume or clothing comes from.

    RuPaul was wearing nothing but a bra and a pair of killer 5-inch heels in the knock-out picture, showing off her incredibly toned legs.

    Usually, on RuPaul’s Drag Race, the queen’s legs are hidden beneath a glamorous ball-gown, so it’s incredibly rare to see her in a short skirt, shorts or like this – in nothing but underwear.

    Even Mariah – who is known to show off her pins for album covers would be proud!

     

    RuPaul’s usual look includes a full-length ball-gown for her show, RuPaul’s Drag Race.

    Fans of the iconic queen shared their enthusiasm for the picture with it gaining over 137,000 likes in just 10 hours. One fan claimed that they needed the picture framed, while another wrote: “legs for days”.

    Another said that haters would say that the candid shot was photoshopped.

    Rodgrigo Alves could have had a lot of wong for his dong, except the offer was actually a cruel joke.

    Celebrity Big Brother star, Rodrigo Alves AKA the human Ken Doll was made to believe that a film production company wanted him to remove his penis and offered over £3 million to complete the drastic cosmetic surgery, according to the Daily Mail. Although the star is not shy about having procedures done to his body, apparently lopping off his dick was a step too far, before finding out that whole situation was a stunt for an Italian stunt show called, Hyenas.

    The prank show created an elaborate ruse, including hiring a fake producer to trick Rodgrio into thinking that a huge Hollywood studio wanted him for a starring role – that needed no visible genital outlines, just like the real Ken doll.

    But Rodrigo wasn’t down for the surgery, despite the insane amount of money offered.

    Rodgrio told the Daily Mail, “My well-being and dignity will always come first and I would not stand for that. I said no straight away but I completely believed it was real”

    “I cannot be bought for any sum of money so I was not happy at all when they made the request.”

    Rodrigo has spent in excess of $500,000 on plastic surgery in the last few years in order to get the perfect Peter Pan look.

    The 35-year-old star has had 62 ops so far, in a bid to be “perfect” and delay the ageing process in order to be “Peter Pan young forever”.

    In fact, he’s allegedly spent over $500,000 on surgeries in the last few years to complete his aim. Having his penis and testicles removed would have been the 63rd.

    Earlier this year, the plastic surgery fanatic took part in Celebrity Big Brother but was removed from the house within days for poor behaviour. The show attracted a huge onslaught of complaints from viewers when Rodrigo used the N-Word repeatedly on the first night.

    Following his exit, Rodrigo took to Instagram to say, “It was a great experience while in the #cbb house thank you all for the love and support. After @realmissnatalienunn Natalie left I started to think how I was getting seen by the public after making a language mistake while DRUNK. I am deeply sorry to have let the viewers down and my Fans now I just need to have some ice cream and rest and life goes on….”

    However, Dan Osbourne revealed to The Sun, that there was an unaired incident, saying, “There was an incident in the house, it was just something inappropriate, I didn’t appreciate it.”

    Paula Abdul was at the height of her fame when tragedy struck. In 1993, a small plane carrying her from St. Louis to Denver crashed. Unfortunately Paula wasn’t wearing her seatbelt, apparently, it snapped, at the time of impact.

    Part of the plane went up in flames and the pop star was left with multiple injuries, which required an extended recovery period and many spinal surgeries.

    Ms Abdul was known as much for her dancing and choreography as her singing. In fact, she was hired by the Janet Jackson to choreograph some of her hits.

    Speaking with Vic Gerami for THEGAYUK.com, Ms Adbul said, “You know, at the height of my career, I had to disappear for seven years to recover from a plane crash. I was touring and it was toward the end of my tour, we were leaving St. Louis to go to Denver on a 7-seater private plane.

    “I wasn’t wearing my seat-belt and we crash-landed and part of the plane went in flames. I sustained multiple injuries and had to have many surgeries and rehab. So I spent seven years getting better, than this show came along, American Idol. In fact, I had one of my surgeries while judging on American Idol”.

    Writing for THEGAYUK.com Vic Gerami wrote, “It’s been thirty years since her first mega-hit, seven-time platinum album “Forever Your Girl” captured us, with singles such as “Straight Up”, “Forever Your Girl”, “Cold Hearted”, and “Opposites Attract.” But Paula was no stranger to the entertainment industry before becoming a mega-star. Her mother was a concert pianist and she studied ballet and jazz at a young age. While in college, she was a Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader, which led her to be discovered by the Jacksons.     She also currently single, although there is a persistent internet rumour, she says, that she’s married to someone called Jack Hester. She says, she tried and “given up” trying to correct the falsehood.

    Anne has also admitted that she finds relationships difficult because of her Asperger syndrome, she says that she can find relationships “a struggle”.
