Banana and Cucumber star Andrew Hayden Smith is playing a DJ set tonight at Ku bar to celebrate the launch of a calendar of gay men getting soaked in aid of charity, Prostate Cancer UK.
Speaking to TheGayUK, Andrew said,
“It’s for a great cause. I was happy to lend my support and go down and spin some tunes for them and there’s going to be some hot fellas as well – so that’s always good!”
Clonezone and Soho based KU Bar have joined forces for a charity evening of surprises, cocktails and guest DJ’s to present the launch of Project SOAKED, brain child of photographer Mark Lister.
Project SOAKED is a visual venture from the award-winning photographer showcasing striking portraits within a calendar and hard back photo book of men amidst a downpour of water. Lister launched the project to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer with proceeds going to Prostate Cancer UK.
“It’s important to us to support Project Soaked and assist Mark in his efforts to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK” said Clonezone’s Marketing Manager Topher Taylor. “We’ve found as a company that a surprisingly low-number of men know the basic facts of Prostate Cancer, including not knowing how to examine themselves for symptoms. We are excited to build a long-term relationship with Project Soaked, with 100% of proceeds from the calendar going directly to the cause”.
The event will take place at KU Bar’s award winning gay bar on 30 Lisle Street, WC2H 7BA in the centre of vibrant London’s Soho tonight from 8PM.
Celebrity Big Brother star Austin Armacost has spoken out about his relationship with designer Marc Jacobs saying that he doesn’t want to be remembered just for his relationship…
Speaking about the relationship the openly gay Celebrity Big Brother star said,
“I don’t want to be known as Marc Jacobs’ ex-boyfriend. I want to be known as someone who stands on their own independently from that. Obviously it comes up because he is one of the world’s most famous fashion designers. I was 21 years old, and I drank too much I said some stupid things but it gave me this public profile that I was able to do some really good things with and I am very proud of what I have done since then.
Armacost entered the Big Brother house yesterday a mix of boos and cheers after criticising British customer services.
The reality star who starred in the A List is now married to Jake and they live in the UK and US.
Suddenly we’re interested in who is in the running to be the US’s next President. Especially if Dame Trump wins…
Of course we’re not pledging for Trump (or any particular candidate, non-bias news reporting you know) but we can’t help but think that this drag look would certainly add a little jazz and panache to the White House, which has been sadly lacking in shoulder pads since Barbara Bush.
The YouTubes have become awash with people getting out their photoshop and showing some major skills.
More details have emerged from a sexual assault Morrissey is alleging happened to him by a member of security staff at San Francisco International Airport.
Last month singer Morrissey described the moment an unnamed TSA agent from San Francisco airport “crouched” before him and “groped” his penis and testicles.
The singer spoke out that he was subjected to “horrific” extra searches even though he had been through the airport’s XRAY scanner.
During an appearance on Larry King Now the former Smiths singer talked about the incident, by saying to King,
“Would you like the absolute details? They are horrific. He put his finger down my rear cleavage.”
“I had been through the false scanner and the second bit and everything was fine and clear, but then he [security officer] went straight for my private bits and put his finger down my rear cleavage.
“The people I was with from the special services said, ‘This is assault’, and he said, ‘Well, that’s just your opinion!”
According to TheHill.com TSA officials are looking into the complaint by Morrissey. A TSA Spokesman Mike England said,
“TSA takes all allegations of misconduct seriously and strives to treat every passenger with dignity and respect,
“Upon review of closed circuit TV footage, TSA determined that the supervised officer followed standard operating procedures in the screening of this individual,”
When Morrissey asked the agent why he had touched him inappropriately the agent reportedly said that it was just the singer’s “opinion”, a statement he repeated four times.
Hostess with the most-est and former GAYUK cover star PAM ANN has hijacked a plane to deliver drugs to the Hamptons.
Biatches, this is the only way to fly.
Watch as Pam Ann steals a StndAIR plane, slams another, thinner stewardess, removes a butt plug and drink wine, when her pilot is delayed. Sounds like a standard trip to Marbella on RyanAir.
Accompanied only by her blowup doll, she shows the world at what a true class icon of the skies she truly is.
SHAKES ON A PLANE: Pam takes control of the twin engine sea plane. (file photo) Speaking about her mile-high romp Pam said,
“Whenever I fly out to the eastern reaches of Long Island, I always take my trusty seaplane, StndAIR. For one thing, it’s a super convenient 45 minute flight. And for another, the plane is mine! So why not?”
Owned by André Balazs’ Standard hotels, StndAIR offers flights to and from East Hampton and Shelter Island in a bright red Cessna 208 on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. Fitting up to eight people in a multi-windowed cabin, flights take 45 minutes, starting at $550, one way. The service is available to all, for reservations please see http://www.stndair.com.
If you know anything about me, it’s that I’m an American trying to emigrate to Britain. I’m often asked what I’ll miss the most about the USA. It’s a tough call; there are lots of things that are uniquely American that the Brits just don’t get.
From gravy and biscuits (which really tastes a lot better than it sound) to Donald Trump (who really is as bad as you think), there’s a lot about this country that doesn’t quite translate.Chief amongst those, though, has to be country music. Sure, there are exceptions—every gay in Soho has seen a drag queen mime a Dolly Parton or Shania Twain tune at some point—but by and large, the songs of the south simply don’t have the same cache in the UK. Country music is a uniquely American genre. But while the music itself may not be to your liking, some of the men who sing it may be.
So, in an effort to introduce my favourite music to my favourite country, I give you the ten hottest men in country music:
Must-hear tracks: “Cowboys and Angels”; “Hell of a Night”
With those sparkling blue eyes and that million-dollar smile, it’s no wonder Dustin Lynch has melted the hearts of country fans everywhere. His deep voice will make you swoon on tracks like “Cowboys and Angels,” while “Where it’s At” and “Hell of a Night” will get you wound up for a night of tailgating and mudding down home on the farm. (Don’t know what those are? Man, you’re missing out.)
Must-hear tracks: “Beer with Jesus”; “Crash and Burn”Full confession: “Crash and Burn” is my song of summer 2015.
I jam it through the streets of Chicago as I’m cruising around town. It’s hardly surprising considering Thomas Rhett is the son of a country legend (his full name is Thomas Rhett Atkins, Jr, making him the son of 1990’s country star Rhett Atkins). With those dark eyes and dimples, he’s sure to break a few hearts. But simmer down, fellas; he married his childhood sweetheart in 2012.
Country music’s answer to Ed Sheeran, twinkalicious Hunter Hayes is the next big thing in Nashville. His song “Invisible” will speak to LGBT youths everywhere (it could be the theme song to the “It Gets Better” campaign), while his EP 21 was released on Friday. With that smile, we’ll let the obvious Adele comparisons slide.
Must-hear tracks: “I’m Coming Over”; “Tomorrow”
Chris Young has come a long way since winning Nashville Star, an American Idol-style singing competition in 2006. Since then, he’s produced five number one singles and four top ten albums on the Billboard Country Charts. His baritone voice perfectly captures the heartbreak of saying goodbye on records like “I’m Coming Over” and “Tomorrow,” both of which are guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye.
Must-hear tracks: “If I Die Young”; “Chainsaw”The only artist on the list that is not a soloist, Reid makes up a third of the brothers/sister trio The Band Perry. They took the country world by storm in 2010 with their single “If I Die Young,” a haunting traditional ballad about a life lost before its time. Since then, they’ve gone on to win Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, and Grammy awards.
Age: 33 (though he’s got a birthday coming up on the 28th!)
Hometown: Vero Beach, Florida
Must-hear tracks: “Alone with You”; “Real Life”I haven’t heard a song this decade that more accurately sums up life in a small southern town than “Real Life,” and I haven’t seen an artist have more fun with summer this side of Kenny Chesney. 2011’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” was his third album, but his first major hit, and it solidified him as one of country’s more laid back, exciting artists.
Hometown: Leesburg, Georgia
Must-hear tracks: “Kick the Dust Up”; “Drink a Beer”
The reigning ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year (the two highest honours in country music), Luke Bryan is the undisputed King of Country. From thumping, arena rocking songs like “Kick the Dust Up” and “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” to more stripped down songs such as “Roller Coaster” and “Do I,” Bryan has defined this decade of country music and is the epitome of the “bro country” movement sweeping Nashville. His song “Drink a Beer” always manages to make me cry, as it reminds me of loss of one of my best friends from uni. Say what you will about country, but evoking that emotion is the mark of a true artist.
Another former reality tv star, Canaan Smith first shot to prominence as a contestant on The Amazing Race. While his first single only peaked at #44 on the Billboard Country Charts, his sophomore effort, “Love You Like That” has already hit #1 on the Country Airplay charts. His eponymous debut album, which dropped in March, has already cracked the top 20.
Must-hear tracks: “I’m a Little More Country than That”; “All Over the Road”
When Easton Corbin first came to Nashville’s attention in 2009, the overwhelming response was swoon. He’s the quintessential boy next door, with his corn-fed good looks and endearing twang. Since then, he’s claimed 4 number one songs, and while his latest two singles haven’t performed as well as some of his previous hits, he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Must-hear tracks: “Cop Car;” “Leave the Night On;” “Take Your Time” You may notice that Sam Hunt gets three “must-hear tracks” whereas every other artist on this countdown gets two. There’s a reason for that; his debut album, Montevallo, is one of the strongest debut albums by a country artist this decade. Mixing elements of traditional country, Americana, rock, and hip-hop, Hunt has created a truly unique musical experience that is currently taking country radio by storm. His cut of “Cop Car,” a song he wrote, has more heart and more passion than the Keith Urban cover which made it famous. This former collegiate quarterback may never play in the NFL, but he’s definitely got a future in Nashville.

The ever iconic pop goddess, Cher, has made a statement that will likely shock a lot of her fan base.
Living legend Cher, made the confession that she “never actually loved” recording some of her most iconic songs of the 1970’s such as “Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves” and “Dark Lady’, both of which obtained high chart positions.
While being interviewed by Billboard to commemorate fifty years in the music industry, the artist claimed:
“I was doing these kind of poppy songs. I was not content, necessarily, to do them… Like, I never liked Dark Lady, and it was a big hit”.
She went onto say that the reason she put songs such as these out in the seventies was due to a lack of creative control, something she was not able to obtain until later in her career.
During the interview, she also spoke about how the most fun she ever had making a song was Believe, the dance track that became a global no.1 in 1999 and shot her back into the public eye after a row of flop singles in the 1990s.
Since the release of the track, she has since gone on to have success with the film Burlesque and her most recent album, Closer To The Truth.
Whilst she is still very much heralded as a queen of pop, the singer did have to cancel the last leg of her Dressed to Kill tour in 2013 due to a viral infection.
She has confirmed that she intends to hit the road again soon but admits that she can’t say that she’ll actually be able to, claiming her “will is pretty strong”.
Controversial Katie Hopkins slams Kelly Osbourne over her comment about whom Donald Trump might or might not hire to clean his toilet…
Sometimes, sometimes not, but definite gay icon wannabe, Katie Hopkins has lashed out (yes lashed, but we could of used the words slammed, blasted or sucker punched) at Kelly Osbourne over her remarks on The View, in which she said “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?”
The purpled haired TV personality was remarking on US Presidential hopeful Donald Trump and his attitude to immigration.
Well, it hasn’t gone down well with Ms Hopkins, who tweeted, “Poor Kelly Osbourne. I wish her nothing but the worst. Own your issues, Osbourne
Along with the post, she pictured a troll with purple hair.Kelly has responded to the accusations that she’s racist stating via her Facebook:
“I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions,
“In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted f**ked up today. I don’t want to bullsh** anyone with lame excuses
“Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson.
“It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own f**king toilets.”
Katie Hopkins’ new show on TLC from tonight at 10PM
Lenny Kravitz’s penis is now world famous, thanks to a well time photo and a wardrobe malfunction. His dong has even got its own hashtag, #PenisGate and Twitter account. We’re waiting for it to get its own Twitter handle.
The 51-year-old singer shared in a tweet a text message from rocker friend, Steve Tyler, who was surprised at Kravitz’s commando antics and willy-accessories.
The text said,
‘Dude. No underwear and pierced. F*** me.. You never showed me that sh*t (sic)’.
