  • If you have one of these pound coins you could be IN THE MONEY

It is being reported that some pound coins could be worth 25 times their value…

You can forget payday loans, all the extra money you need could already be in your wallet… or down the back of the sofa.

The brand new £1 coin is about to be unleashed in the UK. The new design has 12 sides and will fully replace the old style coin by 15th October. The old £1 coin was first introduced in 1983 and there were 24 designs of the coin. The final “round pound” design was produced in 2016.

After the 15th October, the old style will no longer be accepted as currency.

So while you’re busy spending all your old coins make sure you check the design, because they could be worth up to £50! According to changechecker.org there are 24 designs which are worth more than their face value – because of their “scarcity”.

INTERVIEW | Porn star Michael Lachlan: “Be sensible. Look after yourself. Be your own person”

Matt Peake speaks to porn star Michael Lachlan about life as a porn star…

MP: Have you told your family?
ML: I haven’t told my family, I have told my close friends and when asked by other friends I say yes to their question. I haven’t had any negative feedback from my friends. They know me as their friend: fun, easy going carefree person who gets along with anyone so no, no judgement. Most people are more intrigued and full of questions more than anything.

MP: Is it hard to find romantic partners as sex is such an intimate part of the human experience, how do you balance the act versus the deeper connection?
ML: When I started I was in a relationship and had been for two years at that point. Since then we have broken up for unrelated reasons, I know he still watches it and finds it hot. We still had great intimate sex with each other. Doing porn doesn’t affect that side of things like you mentioned porn is an act, sexual intimacy you experience with a partner or someone you may be ‘hooking up’ with is not an act it’s a feeling based on emotions between the two people. My thoughts on sex and relationships are you need to work
harder at it as the year’s progress with your partner. If you love him/ her then you work together and progress together and try new things and should always be open to your partner’s thoughts and suggestions without judgement on it. Not saying you need to follow through with the requests or fantasies but you should definitely hear them out and work on it together. Relationships take work and open communication is the key to staying together long term.

MP: Are there things you’ve learnt doing porn that you’ve included in your personal life? Do partners expect you to be ‘experts’ of sex?
ML: Yes – Don’t judge a book by its cover. Everyone I have worked with including the production team are such great friendly people. The porn industry is much more friendly than the modelling industry. Don’t judge a person on someone else’s opinion of that person. So it really taught me to not judge a person on what they do but more on how they act and how they treat you. Yes, people do expect you to be good and to know more tricks in the bedroom.

MP: Do bottoms really get paid more than tops?
ML: No bottoms do not get paid more than tops. I don’t see why they would. The top has to put in a lot of effort and a lot of cardio into a sex scene it is actually very tiring.

    MP: Do you bottom?
ML: I bottom yes, I top too. Most of my scenes are versatile scenes where I do both. I use to shave, but for the last two years, I’ve been getting my crack waxed every 4-6 weeks. I watch what I eat. Mexican is the worst bottom food #justsayin. So yeah stick away from that stuff if you can. Eat clean healthy food, plenty of protein and you’ll find it’s much easier for you as a bottom to ‘prepare’ shall we say.

MP: Do you sleep with your fans? Would you sleep with a fan if they paid you?
ML: Depends on what you class as a fan. Guys that have seen my work and enjoyed I wouldn’t class as a fan so yes to these guys. But
guys that follow me on Twitter and are interested in what I’m doing next, where am I going to next, what parties will I attend and that sort of thing. No.

MP: Do you think porn fuels a form of prostitution within the industry?
ML: Most definitely not. It’s acting. If Hollywood actors do a sex scene does that mean they are lowering themselves to prostitution within the industry? Just because there is penetration in porn compared to movies doesn’t put it in a category of prostitution. It’s still acting, and if it looks like it should be in that category then aren’t the actors doing a great job in making you believe that this is amazing sex happening in front of your eyes. Queue orgasm face.

MP: Do you worry about STIs? Do you think bareback porn is contributing to rising rates of HIV in young gay men?
ML: STI’s in filming? No, because the models I work with have to present current test results and they won’t film if they can’t present them. Bareback porn helping contribute to the rise in HIV? The Very debatable topic this could go on for hours. My personal view is no and I’m judging that based on my own personality. I am not easily influenced, I’m not a monkey see monkey do type of person. Come legal age to have sex I believe people are old enough to make their own decisions and choices in life and their sex life. Sexual education is more to blame from schools.
Teenage pregnancy rates have declined because teenagers are taught at school about safe sex and the effects on a young person’s life should they fall pregnant. I was never taught anything about HIV, I had to research it myself which is terrible because people that don’t research it don’t know enough about it which can go two of which ways. One being they are naive to it and don’t realise quite how it is caught and how it can affect you. Second is not knowing enough about it making them so scared of it and the people that are HIV positive. Education or lack there in a growing population of homosexuality is the contribution to the rising numbers.

MP: Do you use any pills to enhance your career?
ML: Yes, of course, we take pills to help us get hard and stay hard during filming. Some scenes can take 3 hours some can take 5 hours. We have to do all the still images and promotional images that day also for DVD covers etc. So yeah we need something to sustain an erection while taking photos and no sexual stimulation is happening. We aren’t magicians. Though some guys can fit a lot up their ‘sleeve’.

MP: How do fans react to you in the street? Do you find that a lot of people chat you up?
ML: In the street. Normally a double take and a whisper to their mate. People will chat to me if I’m alone in a shop or something. At a club quite often I get guys subtly come up to me and say in my ear “I’ve seen your porn, it was hot”. As I said earlier guys reactions to it is they love it and wish they had the balls to do it themselves. Those are the words they use themselves.

MP: Why do you think porn is so popular?
ML: Everyone likes sex right. I couldn’t get off to a gardening show I don’t know about you.. 😉

MP: What would you say to people who want to get into porn?
ML: Be sensible. Look after yourself. Be your own person. Voice your opinion. Don’t do anything you aren’t comfortable with. Enjoy it. Embrace it. Don’t do it if you don’t want people to find out because they will.

MP: What’s the best/worst thing about doing porn?
ML: Travelling the world for free (in a way) is the best part for me. The worst part is always having to maintain a good body.

MP: What do you think is the future of porn?
ML: Hmm the future of porn is a hard one (no pun intended). There’s more free stuff out there these days so it is slowly losing the financial wealth it once had.

MP: After all the sex and fame and thrill… what’s next?
ML: My porn career is just kicking off and growing fast. I’ve recently returned to it after being made redundant from my job in real estate after a year. So I’ve returned to make a few films to get some money in and it’s been a better experience emotionally and financially than I expected so I’m riding the wave and hope to return back to real estate at some point later. Age I don’t think is an issue. The silver fox is in right now. A sexy muscular 40 something is very hot normally teamed up with a guy 25 – 35 years of age.

MP: Who has been your favourite scene partner and why?
ML: The last three scenes I filmed with Lucas Entertainment were SO hot and I loved working with all three guys. Dylan Janes. Logan Rogue and his husband Tomas Brand. These films are out now.

  • Ukraine has just banned Russia’s act from the Eurovision Song Content

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest host, Ukraine has just banned Russia’s act from the country.

Russia’s Eurovision entry, Julia Samoilova has been banned from appearing at the competition as it emerges that shehas performed in Crimea.

The former Russian X Factor singer had been due to perform her ballad “Flame Is Burning” at the competition in May, however, Ukraine’s security services, SBU, have determined that her visit to the territory would be “illegal”.

Ukraine law forbids entering Crimea in order to perform.

According to sources around 140 other Russian artists have been blacklisted by the SBU following the annexation of Crimea last year.

Russia and Ukraine have been in dispute since the annexation of Crimea and the fighting in east Ukraine.

The UK’s Foreign office updated its advice for travellers to the Ukraine for Eurovision saying that it advised against travelling to Donetsk oblast, Luhansk oblast to the east of the country and Crimea in the south. It also warned that the UK was not able to provide consular services to any part of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and Crimea.

    It tells travellers,

“Russian forces and pro-Russian groups have established full operational control in Crimea. Following an illegal referendum on 16 March 2014, Russia illegally annexed Crimea on 21 March 2014 and tensions remain high”.

The EBU has released a statement about the decision to ban Julia Samoilova saying,

We have to respect the local laws of the host country, however we are deeply disappointed in this decision as we feel it goes against both the spirit of the Contest, and the notion of inclusivity that lies at the heart of its values.

We will continue a dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities with the aim of ensuring that all artists can perform at the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv in May.

  • Martin McGuiness, has died aged 66

Martin McGuiness has died at the age of 66.

Sinn Féin’s Martin McGuiness has died. He was Northern Ireland’s former deputy first minister. He was 66 at the time of his death. It is believed that he was suffering from a rare heart condition.

The BBC reports him as a “former IRA leader turned peacemaker”, who worked at the heart of the power-sharing government of Northern Ireland following the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.

Despite Northern Ireland’s long-standing block against many LGBT rights, such as same-sex marriage, Martin McGuiness had in the past spoken up for LGBT rights. In 2015 his party, Sinn Féin campaigned on the Yes vote for same-sex marriage.

Speaking after the historic public referendum in Ireland where the public majority voted yes on gay marriage, McGuiness said,

“Politicians, particularly in the north need to reflect on this progress. The world is moving on and Ireland is taking the lead. Pride in Ireland has taken on a whole new meaning.”

In April 2015 he called on Norther Ireland to hold a referendum on the subject of same-sex marriage. Currently, Northern Ireland remains the only part of the United Kingdom that does not allow gay marriage. It has been voted on by the Northern Ireland government four times, each time a same-sex marriage bill has been rejected – despite surveys showing there is overwhelming support for the law.

Sinn Fein said in a statement,

“It is with deep regret and sadness that we have learnt of the death of our friend and comrade Martin McGuinness who passed away in Derry during the night.

“He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.”

  • Pride In London “concerned” over YouTube LGBT video restrictions

YouTube has been blasted by Pride In London as “concerning” over the restriction of its videos, including a speech given by Prime Minister David Cameron.

Videos including a speech by then Prime Minister David Cameron to the LGBT+ community have been restricted by the Google-owned video platform, YouTube.

The video service has been criticised after it was revealed that it had restricted 1000s of LGBT+ content creators’ videos, meaning that only people who had opted into unrestricted viewing would be able to see content.

Videos which have been restricted on the Pride In London YouTube channel include performances from X Factor‘s Seann Miley Moore and that of the Pride In London talent winner 2016, Jack Feureisen.

Commenting on YouTube’s ‘Restricted Mode’ filtering out some LGBTQ+ video content, Matthew Hemes, Senior Social Media Manager for Pride in London said,

“YouTube is an incredible space giving LGBTQ+ contributors around the world a platform to be heard. We are concerned that around 25 per cent of Pride in London’s video content is hidden when using YouTube’s ‘Restricted Mode’. Videos not shown include Prime Minister David Cameron’s message to those taking part in 2014, various videos from recent #NoFilter and #FreedomTo campaigns plus many performances on stage in Trafalgar Square. YouTube has been a fantastic supporter of Pride in London and we hope this is rectified soon.”

Last night the Hashtag #YouTubeIsOverParty trended worldwide as users and audiences blasted the move by the world’s biggest video platform.

In a full explanation of the YouTube explained that they were looking into the concerns of its users and reiterated that it had a “passion” for making its platform inclusive, diverse and vibrant.

Last night the Hashtag #YouTubeIsOverParty trended worldwide as users and audiences blasted the move by the world’s biggest video platform.

Taking to their official Twitter account, Pride In London displayed how their playlist had been affected by turning on and off a restricted and non-restricted view of their account. Fifty-five of their videos from their public playlist were restricted.

Pride In London’s video content has no adult content on its channel.

Restricted mode is turned off by default, but some users have found restriction has been automatically turned on, effectively making the video impossible to watch unless the viewer is logged on if the content is deemed “potentially inappropriate”.

YouTube apologised for the action saying, but only hours after the hashtag had started trending,

“LGBTQ+ voices … [were] a key part of what YouTube is all about”, it said that only “mature content” was supposed to be restricted.

“The intention of Restricted Mode is to filter out mature content for the tiny subset of users who want a more limited experience. LGBTQ+ videos are available in Restricted Mode, but videos that discuss more sensitive issues may not be.”

In a full explanation of the YouTube explained that they were looking into the concerns of its users and reiterated that it had a “passion” for making its platform inclusive, diverse and vibrant.

YouTube has come under heavy criticism from its users after many LGBT content creators found that their uploads had become “invisible”.

what videos did YouTube ban from LGBT people

  • This guy totally nails Britney’s Toxic onboard a real jet

This airline worker has totally nailed Britney’s iconic Toxic routine on board a real life jet.

Assraf Nasir has pulled off the best version of Britney’s “Toxic” we’ve ever seen (although Craig Revel Horwood’s in Lip Sync Battle UK was pretty darn good). Assraf, however, has the extra added bonus of being a real-life worker for an airline.

    https://twitter.com/FarhanRzman/status/842405850673111040

As in Britney’s original chart-topper, 2003’s “Toxic”, Assraf dances down the aisles, sings into the intercom and pushes a food trolley down the Airbus 330’s cabin – all in perfect precision – mimicking Britney’s very own dance moves for the hit.

The 1-minute film starts with the airline worker singing into the aircraft’s intercom system. He perfectly manages to lipsync to the song’s words.

Then he perfectly dances the exact routine to the 2003 Britney hit.

Just as in the original video, a food trolley is used to run through the aeroplane’s main cabin. The video has already been retweeted over 4,000 times as Britney’s fanbase fall in love with the viral video.
