Nathan James became the seventh finalist to leave Superstars after being eliminated by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.
James was booted of the series in a shock result on Monday night after a tense sing off with fellow contestant Roger Wright.
The two sang the Lloyd Webberโs 1989 hit Love Changes Everything, but Jamesโ performance wasnโt enough to change Andrewโs love for him saying: โThis is not easy. Despite a fantastic performance [from Nathan] Iโve got to save Roger.โ
A clearly disappointed Nathan spoke about his highlights on the show saying: โWhen we found out we were going to be singing with Gary Barlow in rehearsals that was really that was really scary it was kind of a milestone for me; to say Iโve sung with Gary Barlow is incredible. I really enjoyed it.โ
He then added: โI would like to say thank you for all your comments, I really tried to take them on board and I really tried to do my best. Iโm sorry if it wasnโt enough. And thank you to everybody at home for voting. Thatโs the first time Iโve been in the bottom two and that is a real achievement, it means people out there really care about me.โ
Now just Ben Forster, David Hunter, Roger Wright and Rory Taylor remain in the competition. The boys will return to battle it out again on Tuesday (July 24) at 9pm on ITV.
