Boot Women
Boot Women is a walking group for women, primarily lesbians, based in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Meeting every month for a walk that averages about 6 miles, and welcome walking women of all abilities. The walks are a great opportunity to meet other women and to discover the countryside around Birmingham.
Boot Women also organises occasional social events and activities.

Birmingham Lgbtq+ Writers
Birmingham Lgbtq+ Writers is a space to meet other queer writers, talk about writing, and put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) for a short writing session. Start with introductions and a bit of a discussion, do a writing prompt in the middle, and then end with tea and some optional sharing of work.

Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra
The Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra is the Midland’s LGBT orchestra. BGSO promotes musical talent directly from within the LGBT community, illuminating the diversity that exists within it to the wider community and beyond.
As an LGBT orchestra, we provide a safe ‘non-scene’ environment centred around a shared interest where people can come together to express who they are without any additional pressure or expectations. We welcome all musicians whether they identify as LGBT or not.
