  • Steve Grand is giving us retro 70’s gay vibes and we love

The singer/underwear designer Steve Grand has been growing his tash out and flexing his guns and we’re loving the vibe.

Although he’s previously suggested that he looks like the guy on the side of Pringle’s can, we actually think he’s rocking a bit of a 70’s Castro-gay look and we’re wholly on board with this development.

In his latest “progress pic” the “All American Boy” singer, said that he had been through quite a regime to get his impressive physique.

The regime includes, 4 weeks of working work, 10 days of ZERO alcohol, 8 to 10 days of fasting for 16 hours a day. No bread or processed sugar.

He said that he was “about to be in the best shape of my life. And you best believe I’m going to show that hard work off”.

Of course, to show off his progress the star appeared in nothing but his own brand jockstrap, he also sells on his website.

  • Steve Grand just worked out in nothing but a jockstrap

Steve Grand just worked out in nothing but a jockstrap

Steve Grand knows how to serve. Consistently.

The singer recently showed off his lockdown work out routine on his Instagram stories using nothing but some soda water bottles – and, of course, that all-important piece of gym equipment, the jockstrap.

As we’re all in lockdown right now, and all gym and fitness spaces have been shuttered by governments in order to “flatten the curve” of the spread of COVID-19, millions of us are trying to work out how to keep fit, especially as in some countries access to outside space has now been severely restricted.

Steve Grand, the singer turned underwear and swimwear designer has thought up a genius way to keep fit – and you don’t need anything but some bottles of liquid.

Practising safe social distancing, Steve appeared to be alone in his home as he worked out in front of his fans, doing multiple bicep curls with the bottles of soda water.

The star said, “are you guys ready we’re doing some quarantine soda water arm curls for biceps today… and yes I’m in my charcoal grand axis jockstrap… that I designed”.

Ever thoughtful, Steve placed a mirror perfectly behind him so that his viewers could get a sneaky peak at his ass…ets.

As you can see there really isn’t much to it – but there’s certainly more there than the costume he wore for Broadway Bares last month in which we basically wore a jock strap – which came off. You can see it all here.

  • Steve Grand Nekkid “the gayest thing I’ve ever seen!”

Steve Grand got completely naked for the annual charity Broadway Bares gig in San Francisco…

One fan commenting that the performance by Steve Grand and his two dancers was “the gayest thing” he had ever scene, whilst others were far more concerned being able to concentrate on anything other than what was under that jockstrap.

The gay singer was taking part in the Broadway Bares: ManuSTRIPT hosted in San Francisco, which ran concurrently with its New York City sister show Broadway Bares: Strip U.

The show was raising funds for HIV service via REAF in SF and through Broadway Cares in New York.

Adam released a brand new song “Welcome To The Show” in July which amassed over 8 million streams on Spotify and nearly 2 million views on YouTube. Well, it hints that perhaps there will be a new album for 2017. His last album The Original High was released in 2015 so it’s about time there was a new one.

Surprisingly Sam Smith, despite his huge worldwide success, has actually only released one album and okay it is a whopper having shipped over 6.5 million units, but that was in 2014. So will Sam be releasing new music in 2017? The star revealed that he was going deeper than ever for the next one, saying, “Every day I’m having little epiphanies and changes and loving it. But all I can say is that I’m putting my heart even more out on the (expletive) line. I’m going even deeper. I can’t believe I’m even doing it, but I’m going even deeper.”

Steve Grand is as famous for his shirtless crowdfunding of albums as he is for his actual music. His last album All American Boy was in 2015 so 2017 could be the year for new music from the star, which he hinted at could be on the way soon with the release of a duet, “Look Away” released in March. Bring it on Stevie.

  • It’s one year on since Steve Grand’s All American Boy

It’s a year ago today that Steve Grand made history with his All American Boy single, making him the first, openly gay Country singer in the US.

Within 8 days the music video for All American Boy had over 1m views on YouTube. The song, set against a backdrop of country roads, an American flag and friends around a campfire, tells the story of unrequited love between two men.
Grand recorded the vocals in his parents’ basement and maxed out his credit card to self-fund the groundbreaking video. The video was directed and edited by award-winning Chicago filmmaker Jason Knade

In May Steve Grand said that his debut, crowd funded album would be delayed. Grand managed to raise $326,593 to independently record his album – he initially asked for just $81,000.

Taking to his Facebook page, Grand said, ‘Today, July 2nd, is the 1-year anniversary of the release of “All-American Boy,” and I’m pretty sure I’m wearing the exact same white V-neck.
I’m going to be working on recording my album all day (as I will be doing everyday until it is done and finished and most likely released in September), but I want to still take a few moments throughout the day to celebrate with you. And that starts with a giant “THANK YOU!!” .’
