Singer-songwriter, Barry Manilow has come out as gay at the age of 73, two years after it was reported that he married his longtime partner, Garry. The pair reportedly married in 2014, in Palm Springs, however, at the time, the “Mandy” singer’s publicist refused to answer speculation on the reports.
The singer, who made his name along with Bette Midler in the gay bathhouses of New York City, has never spoken about his sexuality before, but he did tell The Daily Telegraph in 2012, that he wasn’t dating anyone and that he was happily single, despite the fact he was actually with his boyfriend manager.
It seems as though he’s actually been with his partner for nearly 40 years after they met in 1978, whom he describes as “the smartest person” he’s ever met and “a great guy”. Garry is also Barry’s manager.
He said that he kept his sexuality secret for so many years for fear of disappointing his fans, although as the People Magazine article notes, it was an “open secret to some in his long-devoted, mostly female fan base”.

Helen Lederer, who starred in the Ab Fab sitcom as and last year’s hit movie, as Patsy’s magazine co-worker Catriona, told THEGAYUK.com that the actors’ lines were rarely ever set in stone and that Jennifer would give them line changes on the day of filming. Keeping the stars on their toes and the episodes fresh.
Jennifer herself has confessed that she was terrible for handing in the episode’s scripts before filming and locking down lines for the actors involved to learn, Helen was once told by Jennifer that she was still writing lines on the bus on the way to the studio.
“Once she said she was thinking of my lines on the bus.. but it always arrives in the end”.

Helen also revealed how much fun the women who worked on the practically all-female cast had, but Jennifer remained the boss. She told us,
“(it was) very good fun, people laugh a lot and suggest things and then we do it Jennifer’s way.”

In an interview with Huffington Post today, Ian “H” Watkins joked that Steps, who managed to land an iTunes Number 1 with their new (rather marvellous) single, “Scared Of The Dark”, have never been “cool” or “relevant”.
We’d have to argue otherwise. In their 20 year existence, they’ve managed to rack up a whopping 15 top 20 singles with 13 of those reaching the top 5. That’s pretty darn cool to us.
When asked by HuffoPo what Steps brought they bring to today’s charts, they said,
Lisa: We’ve brought colour to the charts.
Faye: And a bit of drama.
Claire: I think everyone is so concerned with being cool – or relevant – these days.
H: We’ve never been cool or relevant! (laughs).
Claire: Lots of stuff follows the same formula. There’s no diversity anymore. That’s probably why people like Adele and Ed Sheeran do so well because they’re not that.

The X Factor star, Lloyd Daniels, has revealed to his legion of fans that he’s thinning on top – and is doing something about it.
Speaking about his hairline, the singer said, he had been losing confidence as a result of his receding hairline and has only managed to keep the issue hidden by clever concealment.
He spoken out about how he’s being trying to keep it hidden and up until now hasn’t spoken publically about his issue.
He revealed that he’s been using clever haircuts to “cover up” his receding hairline.

However, he’s just undertaken a robotic hair transplant from Artas Robotic Hair Transplant at Juvida Clinics in Yorkshire. He said that he hoped that his journey would inspire others who are upset about balding to take steps.
