  • Sarah Harding wins Celebrity Big Brother

For the final time, Emma Willis addressed the Celebrity Big Brother house and announced live, that this year’s winner who received the most votes was Sarah and Amelia as runner up.

CBB’s tearful champion Sarah left the house to a mixed reaction from the crowd, greeted by Emma.

Sarah confirmed, ‘I’m in shock. It’s been a bit of a tough ride. I was so out of my comfort zone, so many big personalities. I needed a new chapter and start a fresh. I just thought what better way to get out of my comfort zone and to show the viewers at home I’m just a normal girl. I’ve gone through a whole spectrum of emotions.’

She added: ‘I want to say thank you to who voted. I honestly didn’t believe this would happen.’

Sarah continued: ‘It was really difficult to adjust to the new environment. The main reason was to show everyone that I was just Sarah. I’ve been through ups and downs. I’m so grateful, it’s made me stronger and tougher. Once I got more adjusted, I was definitely feeling more settled. It’s made me a stronger person, I’ve grown a thicker skin, I am an anxious character that’s just me.’

On Chad: ‘I was in a short term relationship, I was dating somebody. We (Chad) found some common ground and started hanging around together, he became my best friend in the house, he has been my rock. I had to make a difficult decision. We’ve been through the mill together, it’s like we’ve known each other for months and months. We are going to see what happens, I would definitely like a future with Chad!’

Sarah has won £50,000 for her chosen charity Haig Housing.

In Amelia’s post eviction interview with Emma, she confirmed:

‘I want to go back in! I absolutely loved it in there! We all had a chat from day one that Sarah’s going to win…I didn’t think I’d get past week one! I was boring, there were so many big characters in there.’

She added: ‘I was extremely grateful that no one nominated me, I must have been doing something right. You only get this experience once! After the reception tonight, I can’t thank everyone enough! The whole experience was incredible, meeting the people in there.’

On Sam: ‘Me and Sam had a lot of conversations in there, I know where he is in his life…Whatever happens, I’ve met someone absolutely incredible! Me and Sam always needed to have that final chat, and you know what we’re cool. He says he wants to take me out for a drink, of course I want to go out with him for a drink!’

On Sarah: ‘I still love Sarah, I think she is an amazing girl. One night she screamed and told me to get away, and no one should be spoken to like that and I’m not having that. She was very entertaining, fair play to the woman! Sarah’s like the female version of Peter Pan who never wants to grow up.’

CBB will be back in January.

  • CBB | Derek and Sam finish 4th and 3rd

Derek and Sam finish in fourth and third place in the Celebrity Big Brother Summer 2017 live final, leaving Amelia and Sarah still in the race to be crowned the winner.

Emma Willis revealed that Derek had taken fourth place. He left the house and was greeted by Emma and cheers from the crowd.

Emma asked if he skipped down the stairs because he couldn’t wait to leave, “Absolutely, that was at the forefront of my mind…escape. But in a nice way.”

On making it to the final, Derek told Emma, “Before I came into the show I said I’ll be a week, I’ll be the first to go, I just felt it. And there’s me a medium, so it just shows you.”

Emma asked who Derek found the most fascinating to people watch and he told her,“I would said Paul. Brandi when she was on fire. Shaun for his calmness and the walking around the garden in the daytime in his shorts. He was ready for all weathers.”

Derek would like to see Amelia win the show.

Emma announced that Sam is the third place housemate.

On being out of the house, Sam told Emma: “I have nothing left. What an experience though. It’s surreal to get to the final.”

Emma asked if Sam thought he might win and he replied: “Thing is, no matter how much banter you bring to the table, I don’t think you can beat Girls Aloud. I think Amelia should win it, she’s like the sweetest little thing ever.”

Emma quizzed Sam about Amelia: “It’s classic Sam. I’ve just come out of a very long relationship. When you’re in a place with someone for three weeks and there are three rooms, like you’re obviously going to get attracted to certain people like magnets. She was like my friend first, I always found her attractive and she’s amazingly talented. One of my biggest regrets is saying so early on in the show I fancy you I’d quite like to take you for a drink. Because once you say that, in there it’s amplified from zero to a billion.”

Talking about his ex, Sam told Emma: “You can’t switch them off after three years, you can’t do it. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t feel anything for them. I don’t even know if I’m ready to get in a relationship.”

On Jordan leaving the house, Sam said to Emma, “It was really hard. I didn’t realise how hard it was going to be. I think he should have got a lot further than he did. Once again like Amelia, she was a constant positive. You don’t realise who’s a rock until they’re gone. Simple things like who’s going to watch my back when I take a poo.”

  • Jemma and Chad are the 6th and 5th place runner’s up on CBB

After 15 housemates walked through the famous CBB doors, and three and a half weeks in the Celebrity Big Brother house, this summer series of CBB draws to a close.

SIX housemates – Jemma, Sarah, Chad, Ameila, Derek and Sa, were left to compete to win the crown. Since Tuesday night, viewers have been voting for their winner of Celebrity Big Brother Summer 2017 and during tonight’s 9pm Channel 5 live final, Emma Willis revealed that Jemma and Chad received the least votes, and have taken 6th and 5th place. The pair left together, greeted by Emma, to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

In her post eviction interview with Emma, Jemma confirmed,

‘I’m loving it, thank you to everybody! I didn’t think I’d get on this show for a start! To be in the final to me, it’s still winning. Getting to the final is winning!’

Jemma continues, ‘I’m upfront and honest, it’s how I am.’

On her experience, ‘I didn’t know what to expect to be honest. I’ve definitely toned it down from how I would have behaved last year, I’ve shown a different side to me. I know when I have a drink I can be different and aggressive, my manner can be ‘get in ya face’. You get caught up in there! I get a kick out of being right!’

On Sarah, ‘I think we’re similar, she reminds me of me when I was younger. She’ll want attention from others…’

Chad spoke to Emma, he said:’I had no clue what I was getting into! This was an opportunity for me to be myself. In the first week I was figuring out if people were acting and who was real and fake.’

On Amelia at the start, ‘I did want to go on a genuine date with Amelia.’

On Sarah, ‘The thing with Sarah, with her it happened naturally. Hanging out with her things happened over time. It grew and grew with me and her. I hope things will keep going, we’ll go on a holiday.’

  • AUSTRALIA, Here’s 11 things that failed to happen when same-sex marriage became law

So much happened… but at the same time so little did!

We thought we’d take a look at what HASN’T happened since marriage between two people of the same gender got the right to be treated like everyone else. Despite the warnings from right wing, religious fundamentalists these are the things that have failed to happen.

    1) The sanctity of straight marriage will crumble, wilt and die.

Except of course for divorce, which has always been a bit of blight on the ‘death-do-us-part’ bit of marriage

    2) The floods…

Won’t somebody think of the floods and the pestilence, the fire and brimstone? Some UKIPPER, whose name I can’t remember, not really care to remember said that gay marriage would bring about lots and lots of rain, of a Noah and Ark amount. Okay, there has been a little more precipitation than usual scientists are putting that down to global warming rather than gay marriage, because you know, that’s actually what’s happening…

    3) Children are still being born in and out of wedlock.

The world realised that you don’t need a man and a woman to marry in order to have kids. Children are still being born, they are still being educated, fed and loved by their parents. Bob and Fred getting hitched at the end of the road had no impact on parents being able to have children – and actually, people understand that you don’t need to be married to make children – there isn’t a switch that is suddenly turned on when you say “I Do”.

    4) Pastor Rich Scarbrough didn’t combust or set himself on fire.

Yep, this saint of a Christian man threatened to set himself on fire if marriage equality passed. We’ve been waiting patiently with a fire blanket in hand, but nothing. Not even a puff of smoke.

    5) Parents will have no say in the sex ed that their kids are taught in school…

Well they do… and if you don’t want little Joanie to find out that actually what she’s feeling is totally normal, rather than her hiding away, feeling shame and alone – then perhaps you need to look at your parenting credentials.

    6) Equal rights for gays, bis and lesbians

Even though we have marriage equality, we’re still not actually legally equal. Non-consummation doesn’t count (meaning basically that the law doesn’t recognise gay sex as equal to straight sex) for grounds for divorce…

    7) Bakers will be forced to make gay cakes.

In the UK you can’t discriminate against people because of their sexuality or gender identity – but you can just refuse an order and not give a reason… So if you’re still a total f*ckwit bigot you still have your rights, you just have to be quiet about them, but actually when you do, it lets us all know to avoid you like the plague.

    8) Churches will be forced to have gay marriages.

Nope. We’re still not allowed to get married in your sacred places. But we can come and be a guest and totally upstage your day with how fabulous we are. Especially if we start on the white wine before the first note of “Here Comes The Bride” starts.

    9) Man will be able to marry his pets

Nope still not legal. And dear god Mary, why are you even thinking about animals marrying?

    10) Straight marriage will carry less kudos.

People were concerned that gay marriage would cheapen the brand. Not like Britney’s 55-hour marriage.

    11) The world’s end

Those fascinating people (read in a sarcastic tone) at the Westboro Baptist Church said that we’d all die and go to hell, but as I sit here – in Cashmere and I look out of the window, we’re still very much here.

Their arm sinews have just enough muscles left in their arm to lift up a credit card.”<

“Nothing, and you shouldn’t have to. I mean, look at you. You’ve been a fantastic mother. You’ve let them ruin your figure. Your stomach’s stretched beyond recognition, you’ve got tits down to your knees, and what for, for God’s sake? For a potholer who’s worn nothing but a purple nylon tracksuit and a Gazza t-shirt for the past two years. Cut the cord, darling.”

Jenny launched a major operational restructure of Hanco ATM Systems, turning it from a business that was making a huge loss in competitive markets to a thriving, profitable entity operating across Europe.

In the midst of the turnaround process and at the height of the financial crash, Jenny was tasked with selling the business. However, she saw that the business had real potential and wasn’t ready to give up on it or the people in it. So she decided to buyout the business and become the majority shareholder – later re-launching it as YourCash Europe Ltd.

  • Who was evicted from Celebrity Big Brother?

Shock! As two of the favourites are evicted from Celebrity Big Brother.

Helen Lederer and Sandi Bogle were evicted from last night’s CBB!

Since Sunday, the public have been voting to save Chad, Helen, Jemma, Sam, Sandi or Sarah. During tonight’s Channel 5 show, Emma Willis announced live to the house that Sandi and Helen were sixth and seventh to be evicted after receiving the fewest votes.
Following the announcement, Sandi and Helen said their goodbyes and left the house, greeted by Emma and cheers from the crowd.
Emma asked Sandi how she felt following the eviction,
“I’m happy I’ve made it this far to be honest” and then if she was shocked to be out, “Oh god yeah I was. Wasn’t you shocked?”
Talking about how she found living day-to-day in the Big Brother house, Helen said,
“I am very grateful for the opportunity, but I have found it extraordinary. Like you’re at a party, or school playground where no one is talking to you. It’s so hard, and challenging.  You learn how to get on better with people. It’s quite lonely, because you’re with strangers.”
When asked about her coping mechanisms in the house, Helen told Emma,
“I did one day of crying. I’m sure we all did secretly. I just didn’t play any games.”
On her other housemates, Sandi said to Emma,
“It’s reality isn’t it, they know what will get aired.”
Emma asked who is upping their game in the house and Sandi replied,
“I think Sarah and Chad. Mostly because there’s a lot more rolling around on the floor, in and out of the pool at a certain time of night.”
Speaking about the relationship between Chad and Sarah, Helen said,
“They know how to work it. I don’t. He just can’t believe his luck that he’s got this very sophisticated woman, telling him where the cameras are. She’s training him.”
Emma will be back on Friday at 9pm for the Live Final.
