Pride of the Déise is a not-for -profit, volunteer led community organisation based in Waterford City.
A celebration of Waterford’s inclusion and diversity, Pride of the Déise promotes Waterford City as a safe place for everyone. A mixture of speakers, workshops and performances culminates in a Pride festival that everyone can be proud of and benefit from.

This will coincide with Pride month celebrations in Ireland and across the world. This will commemorate the work that has been done in relation to equal rights and the work that has yet to be done.
The whole community is invited to get involved and join us for what will be an exciting, fun and uplifting day in Inishowen. We anticipate that local families and friends will again show their solidarity alongside visitors and those who return home to celebrate with us.
We are inviting all schools, education centres, businesses, community groups, voluntary and statutory agencies in Inishowen to show solidarity with LGBTI+ youth and the wider community by flying a Rainbow Flag outside their premises on May 29th – June 4th.

Last year was a Pride to remember.. we expect this year to be even bigger, brighter and just as beautiful!
York Pride raises awareness of LGBT+ issues by promoting and staging events, taking part in campaigning and commentary in the media, and providing support to other LGBT+ charities and voluntary organisations. We also promote the provision of information, advice and support that celebrate LGBT+ lives and history. We aim for York to be a place where everybody knows that the diversity offered by the LGBT+ community is something to be celebrated and in which LGBT+ people can feel safe and accepted.
This event is organised, and run by the community for the community. We are self-funded with a little help from some good people and occasionally funding organisations.
We believe that Pride is all year round not just for one day. We put on events in safe and inclusive spaces throughout the year that include all of our LGBTQIA+ community. The Pride Festival and Pride Day with the Parade through our beautiful city is an important opportunity for us to come together and highlight the inequalities we face and celebrate the milestones we have achieved. Pride is about community, a sense of belonging, and visibility – we invite everyone to join us.
Mayo Pride was launched in 2017, marking a twenty-year journey from the establishment of the support group Outwest in 1997 to a parade in Castlebar adorned with rainbow decorations. Our aim was to foster unity in the community while embracing individuality, promoting diversity without emphasizing differences, and celebrating the uniqueness of everyone. Mayo Pride will continue working hard to achieve these goals and provide an engaging festival for the LGBTQ+ and wider community.
