Yikes. Honey G fails to hit top 40, 50, 100

Honey G has failed to enter the top 10, 20, 30, 40 or 100… with her debut single “The Honey G Show”. The controversial contestant who was eliminated in the seventh week, in the last series of the X Factor is said to have inked a contract with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco – but apparently, it’s just limited to singles at the moment. The Radio Times reports the single reached 149 in the singles’ chart.

Speaking to Digital Spy she said,

“What I want to do is negotiate a deal,

“We want to make it happen. I don’t think there is a specific timescale – I think they are allowed to make two singles with me, and then if they make a third, they have to make an album.”

With sales figures as poor as these, it doesn’t look like Honey G’s album will be hitting the shelves anytime soon. So prepare to see her performing at Pride events across the UK this summer.
