  • Big Brother: Adjoa Comes Out As Gay And Shocks Housemates

During last night’s episode of Big Brother UK, Manchester based law student Adjoa Mensah came out as gay to some of her fellow housemates. Which caused them all to question her.

We thought those days of coming out and causing shock were over, but apparently not in Big Brother, as demonstrated by the reactions from Big Brother housemates who couldn’t quite believe that Adjoa, 22, is gay. Despite never hiding the fact, housemates reacted with a variety of clichéd lines which included:

“You go gurlll… Are you really?” said Harriet Jackson, 22, in surprise.

“Do you know what I wouldn’t have guessed it though!” said Twin Amy Broadbent

“Have you ever been with guys?” chipped in her sister, Sally.

    Adjoa shakes her head.

Kieran question: “Never ever? You can never rule it out then?”

Adjoa, whose first language is Dutch, took the questioning with good grace and replied: “That’ the one thing I don’t want to experience.”

To which Kieran replied: “Why?” and talked about how shocked he was about her revelation.

Adjoa who is also a committed Christian later went into the big brother to admit that she has a crush on Sarah saying: “Sarah is so lovely, and she’s hot and is just so sexy!”

  • Simon Gross First Ever Male Housemate To Be Evicted First From Big Brother

Surprise Eviction: Simon was evicted from the Big Brother House, becoming the first ever male to be evicted first from Big Brother.

Last night during the Big Brother: Timebomb Live Launch, Emma Willis surprised the Housemates with the first live eviction.

Viewers were given the opportunity to vote via a free poll on the Big Brother app. They voted to select five Housemates to take part in the first Timebomb Twist. The five Housemates were Adjoa, Jack, Jade, Nick and Simon and they took part in a game which had huge consequences for one Housemate and rewards for others.

Adjoa, Jack, Jade, Nick and Simon had to stand in front of five Timebomb podiums which had the Housemates fate inside. Jack got immunity and he will receive 3 immunity passes throughout the series. Nick got nominations, and he will have to nominate face to face throughout his time in the house. Jade got luxury and she will receive a luxury shopping budget, exclusively for her to use at some point during her time in the House. Adjoa received nothing, and Simon received an eviction.

Simon became the first person to leave the Big Brother House. He told his fellow Housemates upon leaving “Have a great time all of you…it’s been fantastic…showbiz”.

Simon left the House to boos. When speaking to Emma he said: “For my five minutes of fame it was fantastic, I’ve got a career to go back to…its showbiz. I’ve had so many rejections in my career it’s just one of many, its showbiz…I would have been fabulous buy that’s the way it goes. I think they will have a really fantastic summer”.

Join Emma on Friday night at 9pm for a special live episode where a second time bomb will drop on the Housemates. Very soon, viewers will be able to vote via the Big Brother app and Big Brother wants to know who should be the winner of Big Brother: Timebomb. During this second free poll which will close during Friday’s live show, the Housemate with the most votes won’t actually be crowned the winner on Friday. HELEN IS CROWNED THE WINNER OF BIG BROTHER 2014, ASHLEIGH AND CHRISTOPHER ARE RUNNER UP AND 3RD PLACE.

Emma asked Christopher how he found his experience in the house: ‘I found it a really tense house, we were always on tenterhooks…a lot of feisty big characters in there…lots of very full on strong minded people’. On standing up for himself in the house: “One thing I can do is listen, I would sit back and think a bit more before I’d storm in”. On Mark, Christopher said: ‘He is amazing, one of a kind, it is what it is with Mark, I’d rather has him as a mate…if we continue to fight all the time, he’s still awesome, I’ll see him afterwards, maybe’. On changing his personality towards the end, he said: ‘It wasn’t a conscious decision to say I’m going to start arguing all the time…maybe I thought I’m going to stick up for myself…I wanted top be more upfront with my housemates’.

Emma asked Ashleigh how she was feeling: “The happiest you’ve seen me all series”. On Helen: ‘She’s turned such a leaf over the last ten weeks…I’m so proud of her…Our differences where so big…we clashed straight away…I do think we have so many similarities too…Now , I’m over the moon for her, I’m really glad we sorted everything out over the last few days.’ When asked if Ashleigh thought she got away with murder in the house: ‘No not really!’ On Chris, Ashleigh said: “I’m so glad he was there right up until the last second…always bringing me back down to earth….he kept me in shape”.

Helen left the house, the winner of Big Brother 2014! Emma started the interview by asking Helen how she felt about winning and Helen said: ‘It’s a lie!’ Helen went on to say that she was shocked and that she thought Ashleigh was the winner. Emma then asked her if she hadn’t had the pass to the final did she think she would be sat here and Helen replied: ‘No, I think I would have gone in the first or second week.’ Emma called Helen one of the most controversial, explosive Housemates Big Brother has had. Helen then watched a VT of her arguments with other Housemates and she admitted that she was over the top and out of order on many occasions but did say she was reacting to other Housemates’ remarks but was quite embarrassed.

Emma said that Helen seemed to calm down in the middle of the series and Helen said: ‘I had to change.’ Helen added that she tried to make friends in the house with ‘certain people’ but they made it impossible. Emma asked Helen how she was going to change and Helen admitted: ‘I can’t speak to people like that.’ Helen added that she needs to learn to bite her tongue and that she can’t be as ‘crude’ as she has been.

On her relationship with Ashleigh, Helen admitted they were both ‘strong characters.’ She was then asked about her relationship with Ash and although she admitted that he was ‘gorgeous’ she insisted they were just best friends.

  • Mark And Winston Become The Latest Housemates To Be Evicted From BBUK

With just one week till the Big Brother Final, tonight’s show saw a surprise double eviction with two Housemates leaving the Big Brother House.

Mark became the 11th Housemate to be evicted, leaving to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Mark told Emma, ‘I had such an amazing experience for the most part…there are people in there who would be better finalists…Nothing went wrong for me…it was just a brilliant summer’

Emma asks about the pact to split the money, which caused some arguments in the House, and he agrees it was a bad decision. When asked why he didn’t share his reasons to the Housemates, Mark admitted ‘I just thought I was defusing the situation a little bit by not giving a million and one reasons…I didn’t tell everybody my entire thought process…If me and Ash did the same, we’d have got it in the neck too’

Emma then moves the conversation on to Christopher and asks if Mark was jealous when he defended Chris. Mark says that Chris ‘just sat back and let Christopher fight his battle for him…I think I was a little bit jealous’

Emma then shows Mark some highlights of his relationship with Christopher. After seeing some of their many arguments, Mark says he doesn’t know when it started to slip but suggests that it was when Christopher didn’t defend him during the Strongest Housemate task.

When asked if he thinks they have a future, Mark said ‘I was starting to trust him and open up…me and Christopher have a lot in common but we argue too much…I’m not going to write him off now’ before adding that he’s taken advice from his friends in the House.

Mark admits that things changed for him when the three new Housemates came in and that he didn’t think he could compete with them, ‘It was then that I lost faith in myself’

Emma asks about one of his best friends in the House, Helen who he describes as being ‘tough…but she has a massive heart…she’s an amazing person…I’d be more than happy if she won’

On the divide in the House, Emma suggests that it will be more evident now he’s gone and Mark admits, ‘It’s going to be weird…it’s going to be a tough week’

Emma then reveals that it’s a double eviction and Mark jokes, ‘I’m a bit gutted…I was looking forward to a night by myself!’

The shock 12th Housemate to be evicted, causing shockwaves around the House, is Winston who leaves to loud cheers from the crowd.

Emma tells Winston that everyone was shocked and he admits that he’s ‘a little bit shocked…I am a bit gutted…I’d have loved to make the final’ Emma asks why he thinks he was evicted and he wonders if it could have been to do with breaking out of the House yesterday.

When asked about Ash, Mark and Chris’ decision to take the money, Winston tells Emma he was “disappointed” with Chris for breaking the pact. Emma explains that Mark also had a thought process. Winston says that he would still be friends with Chris but admits he didn’t “have the balls” to speak up to people.

Emma observes that he didn’t get into many arguments in the House and asks how he decided to get involved. Winston said ‘If I felt in my gut it was wrong’ he would speak up.

Winston is then shown a montage of his “romance” in the House…with Ash! “He’s just a laid back guy…we’ve got so much in common…he’s the best guy…I’d introduce him to my sister, and I wouldn’t introduce anyone to my sister!”

When quizzed about some of the other romances in the House, Winston admits that he would like to meet up with Tamara again. He admits that there was never going to be a relationship with Danielle and that Biannca was “fun” but a bit full on.

At the end of the show, Winston reveals “It’s been the best time of my life” before Emma tells him that all the Housemates are convinced it’s a fake eviction.
