Members of the Warwickshire Pride volunteer team were homophobically abused around 100 times at a Stratford Upon Avon market over the weekend.

The stall which attracted so much homophobic critcism.

A volunteer team from Warwickshire Pride reportedly sustained a prolonged homophobic, verbal attack by members of the public at a Stratford Upon Avon market on Saturday morning.

THEGAYUK.com has learned from volunteers that members of the team were told that their sexuality was “disgusting” as well as being told that an LGBT+ market stall “had no place in Stratford”.

The team were there to raised awareness and funds for 2018’s Pride event in August.

The incidents began at 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM when the pride team’s decided to pack up and leave. The incidents have been reported to Warwickshire Police.

    “Upsetting and Distressing”

Speaking on behalf of Warwickshire Pride, Daniel Browne said, “Although what happened that day has been deeply upsetting and distressing, it has not deterred us from continuing to work for LGBT+ people in Stratford. If anything, we are more determined to ensure that LGBT+ people in Stratford feel safe and able to be who they are. For years, LGBT+ people in Stratford have told us that they do not feel safe there due to hate comments and looks they receive from people. We now fully understand why LGBT+ people in Stratford feel that way and will be doing all we can to ensure this trend does not continue.

“As for our next steps, we will be contacting Stratford’s MP, Nadhim Zahawi, who has pledged his support for Warwickshire Pride via Twitter. We will also be contacting Stratford District Council, Stratford Town Trust and the company that runs the market to discuss the incidents and what can be done to prevent this from happening in future.

“Furthermore, we are also organising an equality rally to take place in Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday 21st April. More details will be made available soon, but we encourage all LGBT+ people and allies to join us as we peacefully say no to hate and yes to equality in every way, as indeed these incidents show that while we have almost full equality in law there is still a long way to go until LGBT+ people are fully accepted socially.

MP calls out homophobia as “outrageous”

The MP for Stratford Upon Avon, Nadhim Zahawi took to Twitter reiterate that homophobia would not be tolerated, writing, “This is outrageous and should never happen anywhere. Please make sure your team documents what took place. Important that this abuse is never tolerated. I will work with you and @warkspolice to make sure perpetrators are found & brought to justice.”

The film set on a tranquil isolated lake in a beautiful corner of the French countryside where the beachfront is sparsely occupied by a handful of men sunbathing in the buff. Behind them lies a small wood which is a busy cruising area for gay men.

A superb collection of intimate autobiographical stories on what it was like growing up being gay and the pain of suppression. Somehow it seems more sincere coming from elderly people with incredibly fascinating memories to share. It was so easy to become affectionate towards these unashamed individuals and their lives.

  • Elon Musk just casually turned up on a posing site popular with gay guys

One of the world’s richest men just posted a picture a site that’s uber-popular with guys who like to show a bit of skin.

However, it has to be said that Elon has kept his look for the site – classy – and suited. The 46-year-old serial entrepreneur seemingly uploaded a picture onto the GuysWithiPhones.com, a site that usually has a fair bit of flesh on show.

Other celebrities, such as Justin Bieber, Lewis Hamilton and Cameron Dallas have all graced the pages of GWIP with their photos.

Elon is currently, we believe, single at the moment, so we were wondering whether he uploaded the picture to get some tips or pointers on how to take the perfect picture for a dating profile.

    Well, Elon, you’re looking fine!

Elon, who, hasn’t identified as bisexual or gay in the past, split up with his last girlfriend, Amber Heard in 2016 due to their “conflicting schedules”.

  • Here’s the 12 mistakes you’re probably making on your dating profile

Here’s the 12 mistakes you’re probably making on your dating profile

Not getting the responses you want from your dating profile perhaps there’s something you’re doing wrong. We asked our readers what were the most common mistakes they found on a guy’s profiles on dating sites and hook up apps.

    1) Too Much, Too Soon.

Nothing says, “I’m serious about dating and maybe actually finding love online” than a picture of you, a sling and four of your most intimate friends using a power tool you could dig up pavements with. A bit of showmanship never hurt anyone, but laying it all out like it’s on a butcher’s block doesn’t scream “I’m all about the exclusivity” does it?

    2) No Fats, Femmes Or Rice.

I mean just who do you think you are? Say what you like in a man, not what you don’t. Start the conversation positive rather than flood your online space with negativity. Plus don’t be a racist, fatist, internalised homophobic douche.

    3) The Game Stops Here.

Don’t play endless games, it’s no longer the 90s. Throw away the dating self-help books that tell you, a) not to call after 6 pm, b) not to accept dates the day before, and c) to only ever show him the bedroom after the wedding day. Not only is it a massive waste of your time but let’s be honest it’s time when you could actually be jumping each other’s bones. Playing games is manipulative and no one is looking for a nasty lover, unless of course, you’re Janet Jackson.

    4) Be Yourself.

Honesty is the best policy. Shane Greene from dating site AllMale says, “Do not try to be something you’re not, just be yourself. The possibility of finding a match online leads some men to detach from what makes them who they are offline. Many men new to online dating “beef up” their profiles with details that aren’t true hoping to somehow be better than they already are naturally.”

This may seem like a cool idea but these men quickly realise they will be attracting men who are interested in their online persona and not who they really are. You want someone who is interested in what you actually are. That requires you to be honest and accurate about yourself from the very start.”

    5) I just can’t deal…

No one likes a killjoy – stop complaining that you can’t find a date / don’t earn enough / what a douche your ex is / even your cat hates you. A dating profile is an advert. It’s about selling yourself as someone who is a stable, coherent, fun-to-be-around, loveable guy. Be smart, funny and tell us the good things about you.

  • Tom Daley just clapped back at Katie Hopkins and it was glorious

Katie Hopkins has a lot to say about other people’s business…

One of those people was Tom Daley and he wasn’t having any of it.

The controversial, former columnist for The Sun and the Daily Mail, failed TV talk show host, non-winning Apprentice contestant, former radio presenter for LBC decided to speak up on Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black’s baby news, by seemingly drawing a comparison between the surrogacy journey to next day delivery from Amazon Prime.

However, Tom wasn’t having any of it and clapped back, putting Katie back in her box reminder her that Amazon was a delivery service, not a surrogacy service.

He then reminded Katie that love was always the winner.

    Too right and classy.

  • Man confesses to killing two gay men and two others after starting a Jihad

Ali Muhammad Brown has admitted to the murder of four men, some of whom he believed were gay.

Ali Muhammad Brown has shocked a court in the US after he admitted to killing numerous men, some because he thought they were gay. At first, Brown admitted to killing a 19-year-old, Brendan Tevlin in New Jersey.

Brown then confessed to killing three other men, two of them because it was his belief that they were gay.

In July 2014 it was thought that Brown may have used a social app to meet with at least two men. The victims had been enjoying an evening at R Place, a popular gay nightclub on Capitol Hill, in Washington State. Initial autopsies suggest that the victims were ‘essentially executed’, Senior Deputy Prosecutor Wyman Yip said.

Prosecutors say that two of the Washington victims, Ahmed Said, 27 and Dwone Anderson-Young 23, were targeted and lured via a social app.

Brown is already serving a 35-year term for an armed robbery.

    “Jihad”

If Brown is convicted he will given the death penalty. The prosecutor’s office said: “In his statement to the court today Brown admitted that the killings were a part of what he described as a ‘jihad.’”

Jamel Semper, who led the prosecution in New Jersey, said that Brown had “grievously harmed families and terrorised entire communities across the country.

    “This defendant is no martyr.

“He’s just an admitted terrorist who will now spend the rest of his life in prison.”

He will be sentenced on the 1st May.

  • Indonesia has blocked Tumblr over sexual content

Tumblr, a free blogging tool, has been blocked by authorities in Indonesia.

The platform, which is widely used by some in the LGBT+ community has been blocked in Indonesia. The government had demanded that Tumblr delete all pornographic content on the site within 48 hours or be blocked by officials.

It is the latest crackdown which will undoubtedly throttle free speech and LGBT+ equality in the country. The country enacted a strict anti-porn law in 2014 banning anything it considers obscene.

The site has around 400 million blogs hosted on it.

Ministry spokesman Noor Iza told AFP, “After investigating, we found at least 360 Tumblr accounts contained pornographic content”.

The ministry said it would allow access again when Tumblr capitulated to the Government’s demands.

Last year Google pulled the world’s largest gay dating app, Blued from its Indonesia store.

  • Can Jeremy Kyle save X Factor’s Bratavio?

Can Jeremy Kyle save X Factor’s Bratavio?

They became overnight sensations when Louis Walsh gave them a chance to shine on ITV… but it’s all gone south since.

Following on from an epic fallout last year, when the pair (Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbo) went their own ways and released their own singles, it seems that the duo is willing to give their X Factor band, Bratavio, one more try.

Bradley released “Side Dish” and Ottavio released “I Don’t Wanna Be Us”.

When Bradley released his song, he insisted at the time, the dis song, wasn’t about his ex-bandmate despite the song containing the lyrics, “can you stop stabbing me in the back, with that fork” and feeding a picture of Ottavio into a shredder. The relationship between the two soured with Bradley calling it “the worst fall out to date”.

Happier times. Ottavio and Bradley strip off for an impromptu photoshoot.

    A breakdown in communication.

The pair will appear on tomorrow’s Jeremy Kyle show and he’ll try and sort their issues once and for all. The pair, who have come to loggerheads are hoping that Jeremy Kyle will be able to sort out their issues and help the band reform.

Speaking to THEGAYUK.com Bradley Hunt, explained why they chose Jeremy Kyle to air their grievances,

“Well it was at a point of no return but as we are used to TV it seemed right to do it in front of cameras and a professional like Jeremy and the team!

“As we have a tricky unlikely friendship and have been through the most unique of events together!

“So an audience and Jeremy was the perfect setting to get our points across,

“This was the worst fall out to date and not petty this time. Maybe the viewers will see a different more mature side to us”.

  • Here’s how porn stars stay hard for so long

Here’s how porn stars stay hard for so long

Shooting a film takes a long time, there are loads of things to think about… angles, lighting, press shots, pack shots for the DVD (who still buys porn DVDs?)). The lists go on, but the performers have to stay hard – sometimes for hours on end. So how do they do it?

Firstly there are the oral meds that performers can take. Viagra for instance.

Pornstar Michael McLachlan told us, “Yes, of course, we take pills to help us get hard and stay hard during filming. Some scenes can take 3 hours some can take 5 hours. We have to do all the still images and promotional images that day also for DVD covers etc. So yeah we need something to sustain an erection while taking photos and no sexual stimulation is happening. We aren’t magicians. Though some guys can fit a lot up their ‘sleeve’”.

    Injectables

Some guys take it one step further and use injectables, directly into their penises, which can cause erections without arousal. An “anonymous” legal rep for a gay porn star told Quora users, “Liquid ED drugs are injected straight into the penis. It lasts for 6-8 hours.

    Fluffers?

Remember the term “fluffers”, well apparently studios used to hire someone specifically to get the guy ready and up before the scene’s start.

Our anon legal rep continues, “… and fluffers were used to keep male actors hard. Before you ask, a fluffer is a male or female who fellates the actor’s penis just long enough to keep it aroused. In the 70s and 80s were actually hired and regularly paid to be “at the ready”

    Pumps

Then there are the pumps. Pumps aren’t used that often because overusing them can actually be dangerous, and could lead to a burst blood vessel in the peen. Not nice.

    The edit

Then there’s always editing. You know a scene might last more than a day. The stars may actually cum quite early on in the day and then come back to it, later on, and do different angles and positions later on in the day.

Mark Myers, a sexual health expert on Quora said, “Porn stars may last longer than the average man, but a lot of what you see in porn is not “real”. For example, directors shoot multiple takes and lots of footage just to create one 20 minute scene.

“Still, it’s reasonable to assume that male porn stars train themselves to last longer by practising deep breathing, frequently changing positions (and sometimes exercising during sex), and of course, lots of practice.”
