  • This gay dating app is banning guys with HIV

Yes, you read that right, according to sources a dating app aimed at connecting sugar daddies to younger men was screening out people living with HIV.

The app, DaddyBear, aimed at connecting richer older guys to younger guys has come under intense criticism after it was revealed that it was banning men who are HIV+ from joining the service.

A statement on the website, at one point, claimed,

“Most mature gay daddies grew up under the macro environment of AIDS epidemic and scare, so they know how to protect themselves and you, and enjoy safe sex with you.”

That message has now been removed and has been changed to:

“Gay Daddies have greater life experiences which allows them to have more opinions of different things to help younger men to have a better life.

“Usually, they pay more attention to their health, making it safer to develop a relationship with them.

“Moreover, gay sugar daddies are way more mature than most younger men, which is one of the biggest advantage for them because they can help gay bears to explore more and become a more responsible man. They tend to be more caring, generous and sensitive than most of the guys younger men have dated before.”

    “Healthy and Without HIV”

A spokesperson from the App commented in Queerty’s comment section,

“With the fact that most gay men care more about health than sex when seeking gay relationship, we create this gay dating app to meet their needs.

“If you are worried about meeting gay men who are living with HIV, then you can feel relieved with our App because we are trying our best to make sure that all users you meet will be healthy and without HIV, starting from adding a feature to allow users to verify their health condition.”

    “Unwanted Souvenirs”

In an interview with INTO’s Mathew Rodriquez, DaddyBear’s CEO said,

“No one would like to date people living with HIV unless he is living with it. Most gay sugar daddies are not living with HIV, so they don’t want to bring home any unwanted souvenirs. However, we support that gay men living with HIV have the right to date with other gays with HIV. But many rich and successful gay sugar daddies do not want to date with gay men living with HIV, which is the reason why we launched this app to meet their needs.

Clearly, these people have never heard of #UEqualsU

  • Sarah Harding wins Celebrity Big Brother

For the final time, Emma Willis addressed the Celebrity Big Brother house and announced live, that this year’s winner who received the most votes was Sarah and Amelia as runner up.

CBB’s tearful champion Sarah left the house to a mixed reaction from the crowd, greeted by Emma.

Sarah confirmed, ‘I’m in shock. It’s been a bit of a tough ride. I was so out of my comfort zone, so many big personalities. I needed a new chapter and start a fresh. I just thought what better way to get out of my comfort zone and to show the viewers at home I’m just a normal girl. I’ve gone through a whole spectrum of emotions.’

She added: ‘I want to say thank you to who voted. I honestly didn’t believe this would happen.’

Sarah continued: ‘It was really difficult to adjust to the new environment. The main reason was to show everyone that I was just Sarah. I’ve been through ups and downs. I’m so grateful, it’s made me stronger and tougher. Once I got more adjusted, I was definitely feeling more settled. It’s made me a stronger person, I’ve grown a thicker skin, I am an anxious character that’s just me.’

On Chad: ‘I was in a short term relationship, I was dating somebody. We (Chad) found some common ground and started hanging around together, he became my best friend in the house, he has been my rock. I had to make a difficult decision. We’ve been through the mill together, it’s like we’ve known each other for months and months. We are going to see what happens, I would definitely like a future with Chad!’

Sarah has won £50,000 for her chosen charity Haig Housing.

In Amelia’s post eviction interview with Emma, she confirmed:

‘I want to go back in! I absolutely loved it in there! We all had a chat from day one that Sarah’s going to win…I didn’t think I’d get past week one! I was boring, there were so many big characters in there.’

She added: ‘I was extremely grateful that no one nominated me, I must have been doing something right. You only get this experience once! After the reception tonight, I can’t thank everyone enough! The whole experience was incredible, meeting the people in there.’

On Sam: ‘Me and Sam had a lot of conversations in there, I know where he is in his life…Whatever happens, I’ve met someone absolutely incredible! Me and Sam always needed to have that final chat, and you know what we’re cool. He says he wants to take me out for a drink, of course I want to go out with him for a drink!’

On Sarah: ‘I still love Sarah, I think she is an amazing girl. One night she screamed and told me to get away, and no one should be spoken to like that and I’m not having that. She was very entertaining, fair play to the woman! Sarah’s like the female version of Peter Pan who never wants to grow up.’

CBB will be back in January.

  • CBB | Derek and Sam finish 4th and 3rd

Derek and Sam finish in fourth and third place in the Celebrity Big Brother Summer 2017 live final, leaving Amelia and Sarah still in the race to be crowned the winner.

Emma Willis revealed that Derek had taken fourth place. He left the house and was greeted by Emma and cheers from the crowd.

Emma asked if he skipped down the stairs because he couldn’t wait to leave, “Absolutely, that was at the forefront of my mind…escape. But in a nice way.”

On making it to the final, Derek told Emma, “Before I came into the show I said I’ll be a week, I’ll be the first to go, I just felt it. And there’s me a medium, so it just shows you.”

Emma asked who Derek found the most fascinating to people watch and he told her,“I would said Paul. Brandi when she was on fire. Shaun for his calmness and the walking around the garden in the daytime in his shorts. He was ready for all weathers.”

Derek would like to see Amelia win the show.

Emma announced that Sam is the third place housemate.

On being out of the house, Sam told Emma: “I have nothing left. What an experience though. It’s surreal to get to the final.”

Emma asked if Sam thought he might win and he replied: “Thing is, no matter how much banter you bring to the table, I don’t think you can beat Girls Aloud. I think Amelia should win it, she’s like the sweetest little thing ever.”

Emma quizzed Sam about Amelia: “It’s classic Sam. I’ve just come out of a very long relationship. When you’re in a place with someone for three weeks and there are three rooms, like you’re obviously going to get attracted to certain people like magnets. She was like my friend first, I always found her attractive and she’s amazingly talented. One of my biggest regrets is saying so early on in the show I fancy you I’d quite like to take you for a drink. Because once you say that, in there it’s amplified from zero to a billion.”

Talking about his ex, Sam told Emma: “You can’t switch them off after three years, you can’t do it. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t feel anything for them. I don’t even know if I’m ready to get in a relationship.”

On Jordan leaving the house, Sam said to Emma, “It was really hard. I didn’t realise how hard it was going to be. I think he should have got a lot further than he did. Once again like Amelia, she was a constant positive. You don’t realise who’s a rock until they’re gone. Simple things like who’s going to watch my back when I take a poo.”

  • Jemma and Chad are the 6th and 5th place runner’s up on CBB

After 15 housemates walked through the famous CBB doors, and three and a half weeks in the Celebrity Big Brother house, this summer series of CBB draws to a close.

SIX housemates – Jemma, Sarah, Chad, Ameila, Derek and Sa, were left to compete to win the crown. Since Tuesday night, viewers have been voting for their winner of Celebrity Big Brother Summer 2017 and during tonight’s 9pm Channel 5 live final, Emma Willis revealed that Jemma and Chad received the least votes, and have taken 6th and 5th place. The pair left together, greeted by Emma, to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

In her post eviction interview with Emma, Jemma confirmed,

‘I’m loving it, thank you to everybody! I didn’t think I’d get on this show for a start! To be in the final to me, it’s still winning. Getting to the final is winning!’

Jemma continues, ‘I’m upfront and honest, it’s how I am.’

On her experience, ‘I didn’t know what to expect to be honest. I’ve definitely toned it down from how I would have behaved last year, I’ve shown a different side to me. I know when I have a drink I can be different and aggressive, my manner can be ‘get in ya face’. You get caught up in there! I get a kick out of being right!’

On Sarah, ‘I think we’re similar, she reminds me of me when I was younger. She’ll want attention from others…’

Chad spoke to Emma, he said:’I had no clue what I was getting into! This was an opportunity for me to be myself. In the first week I was figuring out if people were acting and who was real and fake.’

On Amelia at the start, ‘I did want to go on a genuine date with Amelia.’

On Sarah, ‘The thing with Sarah, with her it happened naturally. Hanging out with her things happened over time. It grew and grew with me and her. I hope things will keep going, we’ll go on a holiday.’

  • Guess how many things Davey Wavey put up his b

In the name of gay science internet sensation Davey Wavey agreed to have a number of objects stuffed up his b-hole.

So Davey and adult star Brent Everett had a day of butt stuffing, but first, they had to decide who got to be the stuffer and the stuffee – a quick flip of an electronic coin it was decided that Davey would be the stuffee… We’re kinda reminded when Davey tried to find his g-spot on YouTube!

Brent then took it in turns to put 10 – yes 10 items up Davey’s butt (not all at the same time). They ranged from glass sex toys to a dragon fruit. Davey it seems is a pro at guessing because he managed to get the majority right!

Anyways, it’s hilarious and a bit of a turn on!

    Enjoy the video…

  • Stop everything… Freddy Parker is looking perfect

Remember Freddy Parker from last year’s X FACTOR – well he’s been taking some time out and he’s look peccing beautiful.

Freddy Parker is looking fine – as he suns himself on holibobs.

As it stands this photo uploaded to Instagram is one of the star’s most popular ever, with nearly 9000 likes.

The star was sunning himself on holiday – but it wasn’t just the singer’s pecs that his fans were zooming in on. As you can see, the sea, it seems isn’t that cold! It almost reminded us of that time Freddy’s trouser bulge movement broke the internet.

  • Stonewall released a “Queer” T-Shirt and some people aren’t happy

Stonewall’s iconic GET OVER IT T-shirt design has now got another product line to offer the LGBT+ community.

“Some People Are Queer Get Over It” is now proudly displayed on one of Stonewall’s red (and black) t-shirts along with a whole host of other diverse gender and sexuality descriptions, but some people are not happy about the use of the word queer – particularly the older generations, some of whom find the term offensive.

Despite some calling for the word to be reclaimed others aren’t so sure about the idea.

Responding to a number of Tweets from Stonewall’s official account to advertise the T-shirts commentators decried the product calling it “vile” and a slur, while one commentator questioned whether Stonewall had consulted with the community before commissioning the T-shirt.

    Social media user David said,

“How unfortunate that even Stonewall has swapped the word “gay” for “queer”. Yes, I know about the dubious reclaim theory but, for many older gay men, the word “queer” was a vile insult from childhood through teens, twenties and thirties. Sends a cold shiver down my spine.”

    https://twitter.com/L0QesUcTZ1R9Iu2/status/898888057038004224

    Whilst Gareth added,

Reclamation’s a myth. Q***r will always be slur. It’s divisive and not inclusive, even within the LGBT community. Time to stop using it.

    https://twitter.com/GarethPhilips/status/898919641850023936

    Iconic

However, some were very happy with the new t-shirt – calling the design “iconic”.

In a recent survey by THEGAYUK.com, 60 percent said that the term queer was inappropriate as an umbrella term for LGBT people.

The T-shirt is available from the Stonewall shop for £14.99

At around 8.45AM on the morning of Monday, July 17, police received a report that the 36-year-old man had been assaulted by a male passing the Union Rooms pub on Westgate Road.

Victim left with broken teeth and needing stitches

Enquiries are ongoing into the assault that left the victim with broken teeth and stitches in his bottom lip. It has also been recorded as a hate crime.

Now police are releasing an image of a man they want to speak to about the assault. He could help officers with their enquiries.

  • Man jailed for 26 years after Hyde Park murder

A man who violently attacked and killed a gay man in Hyde Park has been jailed for 26 years.

Hani Khalaf, 22 (8.11.94) of no fixed address was sentenced on Thursday, 24 August at the Old Bailey with a recommendation he serves a minimum of 26 years for the murder of Jairo Medina.

Khalaf had been found guilty on Friday, 11 August after standing trial for the murder of 62-year-old Mr Medina.

The jury heard how on a summer’s night in August 2016 Mr Medina, a Colombian national, was brutally attacked, robbed and left to die.

Mr Medina, who worked as a residential carer and was described by his colleagues as the best carer they ever had, left his home in Chelsea on 11 August 2016 telling his brother he was popping out to get some fresh air and would be back later.

He took a bus to the Marble Arch area and was captured on CCTV at around 23:00hrs in a convenience store in the company of Khalaf.

The two bought some items, left the store and then made their way into Hyde Park. It is unknown precisely what happened while Mr Medina and Khalaf were in the park but at some point Khalaf turned on his victim.

Mr Medina suffered severe injuries after being punched and kicked by Khalaf, resulting in numerous broken bones including fractured ribs and trauma to his head.

    Vicious and violent attack

A post-mortem examination on 13 August at Westminster Mortuary gave cause of death as blunt force trauma.

As Mr Medina lay dying on the ground, Khalaf stole his rucksack and fled the scene. He rifled through the bag, emptying and dropping a wallet as well as taking a mobile phone. He left a trail of abandoned items as he hastily made his escape, heading in the direction of Speakers Corner.

At 00:44hrs on 12 August Khalaf boarded a bus from Edgware Road and got off moments later further along the road.

Shortly before 02:30hrs Khalaf was captured on CCTV again in Edgware Road, making his way back to Marble Arch but by this time had changed most of his clothing, keeping his shoes, belt and watch.

The next sighting of Khalaf was at 05:11hrs as he boarded a bus to Streatham and travelled all the way to the end of the line. Nine minutes after arriving in Streatham he boarded a bus heading in the opposite direction, where he eventually got off at Regent Street shortly before 07:00hrs.

Whilst Khalaf was riding the bus network, a Hyde Park groundsman came across Mr Medina’s body near the mosaic to commemorate The Reformers’ Tree at around 05:45hrs. Police were called and Mr Medina was pronounced dead at the scene. A murder investigation was launched.

Approximately 12 hours after the vicious attack Khalaf made his way to a mobile and computer shop in Kilburn where he tried to sell Mr Medina’s phone. The store tested the phone but refused to buy it as it had a cracked screen and Khalaf left.

Detectives carried out enquiries and established that Mr Medina’s phone had been activated in the store. They were able to obtain CCTV footage of Khalaf there.

Six days later Khalaf was arrested for an unrelated matter. Officers immediately recognised him as the person who was with Mr Medina prior to his death and Khalaf was arrested for murder.

A forensic examination of Khalaf’s clothing revealed Mr Medina’s DNA on his watch and belt. Khalaf’s DNA was also found on the rucksack abandoned at the scene.

    Khalaf was subsequently charged.

Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall, of the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said,

“Jairo Medina was a kind and gentle man who dedicated his life to caring for others. On that evening in August last year, he went out to socialise in the Hyde Park area. There he encountered Hani Khalaf, who was to viciously assault and rob him before leaving him to die in a remote part of the park. We are pleased that such a dangerous individual is now in custody for what he did and hopefully this may be of some comfort to Jairo’s family and friends.

“We believe that robbery was the motive behind the murder. In the very early stages of the investigation we realised that Jairo was an openly gay man who liked to socialise in and around Hyde Park. Our investigation received a lot of support and assistance from representatives of the LGBT community who work alongside the local police in Westminster. I would like to acknowledge their support in helping us achieve justice.”
