    Melissa McCarthy’s send up of Sean Spicer, knocked it out of the park.

     

    Sean Spicer, the White House Press Secretary has become the latest member of President Donald Trump’s admin team to get the “Saturday Night Live” treatment, as Melissa McCarthy takes him on… and knocks it out of the park.

    Last week, Sean Spicer refused to discuss whether President Donald Trump was going to enact an executive order which would drastically role back LGBT+ rights in the US, he said,

    “I’m not getting ahead of the executive orders that we may or may not issue,”

    Spicer said. “There’s a lot of executive orders, a lot of things the president has talked about and will continue to fulfill, but we have nothing on that front now.”

    So who makes the best front man for Queen? Adam Lambert or James Corden?

    What happens when Adam Lambert, Brian May and Roger Taylor drop into James Corden‘s Late Late Show studio? Well, James obviously starts a singing war to see who is the best front man for Queen.

    “Are you sure you want to do this Lambert” are the sparring words from James to Adam before launching into Queen’s hit ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’.

  • George Takei has a warning for Donald Trump

    Star Trek’s George Takei has a stark warning for Donald Trump if he signs an anti-LGBT discrimination order.

    “My people protest HARD” is the war cry from George Takei this morning after it emerged that a leaked and unverified anti-LGBT executive order has surfaced. The EO would effectively end LGBT protections in the US as we know it. It could place religious beliefs over LGBT rights and equality. It’s an EO that would climb into almost every part of American gay, lesbian, bi and transgender people’s lives, from housing to the procurement of goods and even medical care.

    The document, which has not been yet been verified, stirred George Takei into fighting talk. Taking to Twitter he said,

    “If Trump signs that exec order authorizing LGBT discrimination in the name of religious freedom, he’ll regret it. My people protest HARD.”

    The tweet has already been retweeted nearly 5000 times and has been liked 17,000 times.

    The White House issued a statement earlier this week to say that Donald Trump was “proud to have been the first ever GOP (Republican) nominee to mention the LGBTQ community in his nomination acceptance speech”, the statement also pledged to “protect the community from violence and oppression”.

    In November former composer and producer for RuPaul, Lucian Piane, went on an epic rant, defaming people and throwing wild accusations into the Twittersphere. Well, now he has extended his apologises to anyone he may have offended with his words and has blamed a certain substance.

    Lucian Piane shocked many fans last year when he seemingly lost the plot over social media, making wild accusations and advocating the use of racially sensitive words. At first, fans thought that his account had been hacked, but the tweets came thick and fast over a 48 hour period.

    During this time, his tweets descended further and further into chaos. At one point he made claims about the Obamas and Clintons. He also claimed that Barack Obama was gay and his own body and nearly everyone on earth was infected with brain-controlling parasites.

    The messages published on his account caused much concern and many fans feared for his mental health.

    Well, Lucian has made an announcement via Instagram to explain that he was in a “marijuana psychosis” – according to UCLA doctors. He claims he consumed 800mg of cannabis edibles in 48 hour period. He called the experience “eye-opening” and “enlighting”.

  • Did RuPaul just signal the end of Drag Race?

    Say it isn’t so… RuPaul just seemed to signal that the end of Drag Race is coming.

    RuPaul just seemingly cancelled RuPaul despite it being one of the network’s most popular shows and Michelle Visage saying that she would be up for judging the competition in season 50 with her zimmer frame.

    Taking to Twitter, from the verified RuPaul account, the star answered a fan, by saying,

    “Molly, you don’t understand. There may not be another season Drag Race.”

    Well, basically shiz hit the fan. It sent lovers of the programme into a tailspin.

    Michelle Visage, ever the voice of reason, was quick to smooth over the fears of fans saying that fans were taking RuPaul’s words too seriously and explained that the tweet was “meant to make you go deeper”.

    She said,

    “You kids take EVERYTHING seriously. You can’t do that. You listen to the podcast, you know @RuPaul goes deeper than surface”.

    RuPaul himself didn’t comment any further on the tweet or what he meant by it. He has kept mostly a low profile on social media, since the inauguration of Donald Trump, just using his account to retweet and promote the podcast that he and Michelle Visage make together.

    Before the Tweet which sent fans into turmoil he tweeted,

    “Been mostly silent on social. I try to use it for lightness and positivity, but here lately, I got nothin’

    “Mostly disappointed that humanity hasn’t evolved further in our lifetime.”

    Pop star Lily Allen used the word “fags” on Twitter and now knows not to do it again (unless of course, she isn’t paying attention)

    British singer, Lily Allen used the word “fags” on Twitter and got a response, trouble was it probably wasn’t the one that she was hoping for. Her Tweet, “Fags Hate Trump” did not go down well, it’s fair to say.

    It was all to do with promoting her new song, a cover of Rufus Wainwright’s “Going To A Town,” which is, apparently a protest song against President Trump.

    In the video that accompanies the song, placards with the slogan “Fags Hate Trump” are seen. A fact which was pointed out by long-time gay rights activist Peter Tatchell.

    The singer was swiftly admonished by many in the community. Some called the singer homophobic.

    The Trumps only entered the White House less than a week ago (fact checked) and already people are wondering whether President Trump’s wife and now the first lady of the USA, Melania Trump could be a gay icon.

    The White House website has removed all traces of LGBT rights, but it has outlined some of Melania’s credentials including all the magazine covers she’s made and the fact that she has appeared on QVC.

    Now some people on Twitter are questioning whether she could become an official gay icon. Bearing in mind that we set our standards at Bette Midler and Cher… we’re not sure Melania will ever get there.

    So what has she said about gay rights?

    Well, as far as we can tell absolutely nothing. She has pledged to fight bullying during her time as First Lady, but fell short in mentioning whether that would include LGBT+ youth.

    Now we know where he got those good looks from! Freddy Parker just uploaded a cheeky shot of him and his mother enjoying each other’s company on holiday and well, Mumma Parker is smokin’ and it’s her birthday today!

    Some fans were shocked with many asking who the woman was…. some even commented that they thought the woman in the picture was his girlfriend… Nope… That’s his Mum!

    Freddy was recently holidaying in Barbados after he was eliminated from the X Factor, which saw his BFF Matt Terry win. The pair are now living together.

    So this is awkward.

    Gary Barlow seemingly blocked X Factor hottie, Sam Callahan after he wished him a happy birthday and tweeted a picture of Gary Barlow in the altogether.

     


    Okay, in the interest of not posting fake news, the photo-shoot was legit and from a saucy magazine photoshoot that Take That did back in the 90s. However and for some reason, for which we’re not sure, Sam decided to post a picture of his own naked magazine shoot as well.

    Well, apparently the tweet didn’t go down well with Mr Barlow, who then blocked Sam. Leaving him feeling a little, well, awkward.

    Gary Barlow is currently heading up BBC’s reality talent show, Let It Shine, a search for a boyband to play in a musical loosely based on the story of Take That. It goes head to head with ITV’s The Voice on a Saturday night. However, it’s not been doing too good in the ratings. Last weekend it managed just 5.3 million viewers with a peak of 5.7 million.

    THEGAYUK’s former cover star Danyl Johnson has been announced as a contender for the UK entry to Eurovision 2017.

    Danyl Johnson, who fronted Issue 24 of THEGAYUK,  is the running to become the UK’s entrant to the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with his song, “Light Up The World”. It’s v v catchy!

    Will he be successful in representing the UK in Kyiv?
