Frank Ocean is facing a law suit by a producer who claims he was denied of a credit for his work on the hit song ‘Lost.’

Producer Micah Otano, filed the legal documents against Frank Ocean and his label Universal Music, on March 6th in the US District Court of California with regards to the track which was featured on Ocean’s Grammy-winning album Channel Orange.

According to E! The documents they seized say that ‘Otano cited complaints for breach of contract, fraud in the inducement, rescission and restitution, copyright infringement and declaratory relief in his suit.

He insists he co-created the song upon which “Lost” is based (a track called “DayLight” with producers Malay and Paul Shelton) and also “solely performed the lead synthesiser parts on ‘Daylight’ as well as piano and other parts.”
