Speaking with TheGayUK about their new release Mark Crawshaw from Sale in Greater Manchester said,

“Well, The title says it all really. It’s all the soul classics and we’re keen songwriters as well so there are three originals on there… It’s songs like, I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Give Me Just A Little More Time.”

The Overtones have sold over 750,000 records in the UK with their first album, Good Ol’ Fashioned Love going platinum and their second, Higher going gold.
