  • LOOK AT ME | Pam Ann

If you don’t know who Pam Ann is, then clearly you’ve been living under the wing of some lesser known aircraft (possibly an old Boeing 727-100 without ‘wing-tips’).

Pam Ann, plunged on to the scene after a night on the vodka and has been wowing audiences ever since. Madonna is a fan, so is Cher, Elton has had her crew on his private jet and she’s rubbed herself up against the world’s rich and famous. We put Pam Ann through The Gay Test.
    1) The best way to travel is:

    a) Coked off your head in First…

    b) Coked off your head in Business…

    c) Swigging from a can of Stella in an upturned bucket, whilst being shouted at by an upstart attendant named Chellllseeeeee…

None of those, the best way is face down on a flat bed with a cock in my ass.

10/10 Wow this Bitch is a power bottom, Pam Ann gets right to it. We’d prefer a glass of champs then a cock in the ass… Just sayin.

    2) Do you know what ‘Sounding’ is?

The sound a pussy makes after wearing polyester trousers on a 24 hour flight.

3/10 That’s an image I now can’t get out of my head. No one should ever were polyester. Ever.

    3) The best thing about ‘your gays’ is…

    They love mood lighting.

10/10 Oh yes we do. Many hours spent in the lighting department of John Lewis, Pam, it’s like you know us…

    4) Snog, Marry, Machete:

    Elton

    George

    Boy George

I’d marry Elton, Snog George and bareback Boy George.

7/10 Mr George is on line 5. He’ll be round shortly.

    5) What is your most extravagant purchase?

    I’ve recently purchased 95 Airbus A380s.

3/10 We were thinking something mink or platinum, but what ever floats your boat or blows your wings.

    6) What’s your must have item when traveling the world?

    A wet pussy.

3/10 Tabby? Don’t understand the answer? Pussy?

    7) Boyzillian or Hairy?

    Hair chest boyzillian cock.

9/10 What a pro… Best of both worlds.

    8) Complete this gay mantra: Don’t go for second best baby / Put your love to the test

You know, you know, you’ve got...

an asshole like a hippo’s yawn.

7/10 Ah yes the feeling you get after a good 24 hour flight, being pummelled by all and sundry..

    9) In a perfect world all gay men would…

They are already perfect – C**s.

11/10 Why Thank you… Can’t argue with the logic. Nice use of C**t. Extra point.

    10) What’s your favourite bit about Matthew Mitcham?

    His double pike.

6/10 We could drown in his double pike. Oh Matthew… Matthew… Matthew…

69/100. Our favourite Flight attendant is well on the way to Gaydom. Her understanding of her core demographic is spooky. Mood lighting, Mile High Club, Matthew Mitcham and she clearly loves a bit of cock. It’s uncanny, she’s almost one of us! Book for Pam Ann’s 2013 UK tour. Tickets are now on sale. • GROOMING: The Perfect Shave

From the excitement of your first top lip fluff to the perpetual ever growth of manhood, shaving becomes an intrinsic part of daily life for most men, unless you’re auditioning for the role of Jesus in Superstar, or your wanting to sport the kind of look a 70’s porn baron would champion.

Years ago the choice of razor was limited to the cut throat blade and rather rudimentary electric shavers, now however there is a blistering array of choices. This week we’re focusing on the wet shave. It is by far the most time consuming method of de-hairing your face fleece but the results are much more pleasing; clean, close and smooth.

Alex Glover, Master Barber at Murdock’s concession store in the menswear department of Liberty in Soho created a video to help demonstrate the perfect shave.
    1) Cleanse and Exfoliate

Start your regime with a warm liquid face wash which will cleanse the skin of grease and any contaminates which might later cause skin problems such as spots.

Glover says: ‘With the exfoliator you should just use gentle circles, lightly pressing into the skin so you can feel the granules moving around, but your not scratching your own skin’.

Exfoliating your skin is the perfect way to remove dead skin cells from your face and will give you a brighter more youthful complexion.

    2) Pre Shave

A good shave is all in the preparation, Glover suggests using a pre shave oil, which will help ‘nourish the skin and soften the beard before the shave’. The Murdock Pre-Shave Oil is £24.00 per 100ml

If you’re not in a rush and happen to have hot towels (we’re not birthing anything) soak a clean towel in near boiling water and drape over your face for 3 to 4 minutes this will: ‘Soften the beard hair.’ explains Glover.

The heat from the towels will also open up your pores and make the hair follicles much easier to shave.

    3) Lather Up

This is the bit that as a kid would thrill me, the brush, the lather, it was all too exciting. Nowadays we tend to slap on some shaving cream and get busy with our blades, but taking a little extra time and using a badger brush will result in a shave you won’t regret as you walk down the street without bits of toilet paper stuck to your face.

You need around a 2 to 3 centimetre by 1 centimetre dollop of shaving cream and mix it in a bowl with a wet badger brush. Soak your brush in water, before whipping the shaving cream into a ‘glossy looking lather’, Make sure the brush stays wet, which will help soften the beard further. Brush on the lather on to your face in circular movements, until you look like Santa.

Next week we are doing a road test on the best shaving creams! Sign up to our mailing list now to be the first to know…

    4) Using your blade correctly

Shave downwards from the sideburn down, in long cheek length motions, completing the entire cheek before moving onto the other side. If your hair grows downward, you can continue down the neck, but if your hair grows sideways you would shave in an upward motion, towards the jawline. Taking your time around the Adams apple and around the jawline as to not make any cuts. ‘Make sure your blade is at 30 degrees to the skin’, says Glover ‘that allows the blade to sweep across the face quite smoothly and it’s the perfect cutting angle.’

You need to ensure that the blade you use is sharp and new. Dull blades tend to tug at hair and cause a lot of pain and is more likely to cut you. The more blades your razor has the better. Stay away from any razor that has less than 3 blades. Keep a stock a spare blade heads for your razor and change the head regularly.

  • INTERVIEW | Worbey And Farrell

From the Royal Opera House to travelling the globe and being chased by 25,000 fans (because of mistaken identity) we had the privilege of delving into the wonderful, extremely gifted and somewhat eccentric world of Worbey and Farrell. Their exquisite recitals and beautiful humour has brought them to be loved by many a fan from Mickey Rooney – famed for his 350 Hollywood films and 4 Hollywood Walk of Fame stars, to a lady called Janet from the Isle of White who stitches tapestries of the boys. As Steven (Worbey) was on lock down in the piano room he gave kind permission for Kevin (Farrell) to answer questions on his behalf.

  • Bret Easton Ellis Slams Matt Bomer Casting

American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis slams casting Matt Bomer in Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie.

The best selling author Bret Easton Ellis said that casting the openly gay actor Matt Bomer in a film adaptation of the record-breaking novel ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ would be wrong because his sexuality ‘complicates the role’.

The Hollywood star, who was last seen doing the full monty in the box office smash ‘Magic Mike’ has been rumoured to take the role of Christian Grey in an adaptation of E. L. James’s erotic bestseller.

On hearing the news Ellis took to social media network Twitter to Tweet that it would be ‘absolutely ludicrous’ to give the role to Bomer.

‘Okay. Let’s finalise this. Matt Bomer is totally hot and a very good actor. He is NOT right for Christian Grey and it complicates the role,’ he posted on Twitter.

The author, who has admitted to having relationships with both men and women added: ‘I don’t care how good an actor you are but being married to another man complicates things for playing CG.’

He denied that his views were homophobic saying it was: ‘about an intensely straight actor wanting absolutely to screw Ana Steele.’

Ellis had expressed an inclination to adapt the novel into a screenplay, but confirmed that he was no longer in the running for the project.

  • BOOK REVIEW | Briefs Encountered by Julian Clary

Noel Coward was the toast of 1930’s British society with his razor sharp wit, sartorial elegance and much loved plays and songs. Goldenhurst, his house in Kent, provided a refuge where he could be himself and hide from the prying eyes of the general public and more importantly the law. (more…)

  • BOOK REVIEW | My Policeman

Naive schoolmistress Marion first catches sight of handsome Tom in Brighton and is instantly smitten by his wholesome good looks and swimmer’s physique.

In spite of some reservations about this dashing young policeman, she is determined that her love will be enough for them both. The complication is that Tom is increasingly lured into the gay underworld of 1950’s Brighton when he meets sophisticated gay museum curator, Patrick. The ensuing love triangle has far reaching consequences for the three of them in a society where homosexuality is still illegal.

Vintage style is big business in the 21st century and one decade which brings on a warm rush of nostalgia is the 1950s. Homes are being decorated with stylish repro 50’s patterns and tweed jackets are making a comeback, but have you ever considered what it was like to be gay before the law reforms of 1967 made homosexuality legal? This pitch perfect novel captures the atmosphere of fear which surrounded being gay in 1950’s Brighton. Roberts has created a compelling and haunting story with strong credible characters which is hard not to become instantly immersed in.

The backdrop of historical detail doesn’t intrude on a great story but adds depth and colour to it. The city of Brighton is recognisable by its landmarks but alien in its climate of repression. I would heartily recommend this book as being well written and eminently readable. It’s a book which causes you to stop and think about how we view the past through a filter of our own current experiences and realise that maybe the good old days weren’t always so good for gay men.

  • MIKA: If You Ask Me “Am I Gay I Say Yeah”

The ‘Grace Kelly’ singer has, at last, answered the long-discussed question of his sexuality in an interview with US magazine Instinct. His sexuality had become the subject of rumour since entering the public eye in early 2007.

Mika told Instinct Magazine: “If you ask me ‘am I gay?’, I say yeah. Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it’s only through my music that I’ve found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life.”

In 2009 in an interview with Dutch magazine Gay & Night he talked of his hesitance to use labels, which the singer used as a frequent response to questioning of his sexuality, until commenting on bisexuality saying: “I’ve never ever labeled myself. But having said that, I’ve never limited my life. I’ve never limited who I sleep with. … Call me whatever you want. Call me bisexual, if you need a term for me.”

Previously, in 2008, Mika had spoken to the US magazine OUT saying that it was possible to discuss “sexuality without using labels”, leading to some journalists inventing the phrases ‘ambisexual’ and ‘gaybe.’

His insistence on keeping his sexuality a private matter had led to hate mail and one death threat: “It was over whether I am gay or not. He wasn’t happy that I won’t talk about my personal life like that,” he told the Evening Standard.
